PayPal button not visible in Firefox, but IS visible in Internet Explorer. WHY??

Hi!
I was trying to make an online purchase & the yellow PayPal selection button wasn't visible. I called the company to make sure they accepted PayPal, (they do), & they opened their browser & made a test purchase so they could tell me where the PayPal button was. On their browser the PayPal button was there...on mine it wasn't. I closed out Firefox & restarted it, but the PayPal option button never appeared. I decided to try to make the purchase using IE & the PayPal button was right where the company told me it would be!!! Do I have to change one of my settings somehow?? I avoid IE like the plague...I even deleted the Desktop shortcut for it on my laptop...I had to do a search so I could use it to test this issue. I really don't want to have to use IE for anything!!! Help will be greatly appreciated!!
Thanks very much :)

    How do I fix this.

    You can try these steps in case of issues with web pages:
    You can reload web page(s) and bypass the cache to refresh possibly outdated or corrupted files.
    *Hold down the Shift key and left-click the Reload button
    *Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
    *Press "Command + Shift + R" (Mac)
    Clear the cache and cookies only from websites that cause problems.
    "Clear the Cache":
    *[[Image:new fx menu]] > Options/Preferences> Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"
    "Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:
    *[[Image:new fx menu]] > Options/Preferences > Privacy > "Use custom settings for history" > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

  • Links or buttons do not respond in Firefox but do respond in Internet Explorer

    Sometimes and increasingly more often, links or buttons do not respond in Firefox, no new tab opens just nothing happens. But in Internet Explorer, the links or buttons respond normally and everything runs smoothly.
    What is the cause then ?

  • Videos will not work in Firefox but work fine in windows explorer. why?

    I tried to verify my plug-in's and all are enabled. I found where was suggested to remove and reinstall Firefox but that did not fix problem either. I tried to change viewer for videos but still no luck. Not certain why Quicktime doesn't work. Note, videos when browsing will not open but everything else works fine. Videos work fine with windows Explorer, but not Firefox.

    Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode|Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions (Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance).
    *Do NOT click the Reset button on the Safe Mode start window or otherwise make changes.

  • Netflix Instant Play will not work with Firefox but works fine with Internet Explorer

    I am able to type a search word in but on clicking it, nothing changes. No results. the word just stays there.
    I also downloaded the https://addons.mozilla.org/firefox/addon/live-http-headers/ -- at first I wondered if it was not letting me install. So I allowed it in exceptions. But I'm not clear on what it does or what I do to use it.

    Most likely a javascript error. Try opening the javascript console in FF and look for errors.

  • Michael's Weekly Ad does not load in Firefox, but it loads in Internet Explorer

    My wife and I have different computers, and she is interested in many ads for craft stores and the like. As such, she's been telling me how the Michael's Weekly Ad (http://weeklyad.michaels.com) does not load on her computer. Just for a kick, I thought I'd try it on mine, fully expecting it not to load, but then it did. I have double-checked everything I can think of; I have completely updated her add-ons (which turned out to be useless anyway because after disabling ALL of mine, the ad still loaded), I checked to make sure our version of Firefox match, and I have tried using search engines (Google) to locate any similar problems to no avail. Is there any explanation available (and ideally fixing whatever is wrong)?

    A lot of content on that page is loaded via JavaScript, so she may be blocking some scripts on that page if it sin't displaying prolerly.
    If you use extensions (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions) like <i>Adblock Plus</i> or <i>NoScript</i> or <i>Flash Block</i> that can block content then make sure that such extensions aren't blocking content.

  • Yahoo mail attachments will not load in Firefox but will load in Internet Explorer.

    In Firefox (downloaded Dec. 2010), at this site:
    I get the following message:"We're having trouble attaching this file with our standard Flash uploader. Try attaching again. (Flash uploader will be temporarily disabled.)''
    This manoeuvre does work but is tedious. Is there a better way?
    I have no problems in Explorer but Firefox is my preferred search engine.

    I had the same problem. My firewall was the cause. Perhaps it is enough if you stop the blocking by the firewall. Good luck and bye! Christian

    The name of my wireless network in the form of my modem router is not read from the iPhone, while the first era.Il my ipad does not read the network but I surf the internet. Why? What can I do?

    Can I use this DIR-635 to extend the WiFi network of the "Belgacom" WiFi?
    To answer this question correctly, a user would need to have a DIR-635 router connected by Ethernet to a Belgacom router.
    If you think about it, the chances of another user who has these two same devices configured this way and also being on an Apple support forum to see your post are about zero.
    The following might work, but you will not know until you try.
    Configure the DIR-635 to provide a wireless network that uses the exact same wireless network name, exact same wireless security and exact same password as the Belgacom wireless router. Make sure that the DIR-635 is configured in Bridge Mode.
    Can I purchase and set-up an Apple Airport Express or Apple Airport Extreme on my level 1 (the ethernet cable running from level 2 to level 1 could plug-into either of those)
    The AirPort Express or AirPort Extreme would need to be configured exactly the same way as mentioned above.
    (What is the difference in the 2 -- one is about twice the price of the other…)

  • Website not centered on layout, but it is on Internet Explorer, what could be the problem?

    My website www.thegreatestmindsofourtime.com/downloadpagemain.htm
    does not get centered when it displayed with Firefox.
    But if I use internet explorer, it is centered as it supposed to be.

    I'm not seeing that style rule.
    <pre><nowiki>.style54 {
    background-color: #FFFFFF;
    </nowiki></pre>
    You can test it by pasting this bookmarklet code in the Scratchpad window and execute (run) the code via Ctrl+R<br />
    <br />
    <pre><nowiki>javascript:(function(){var doc=document,css=doc.createElement('LINK');css.rel='stylesheet';css.type='text/css';css.href='data:text/css,'+'.style54 {margin-left:auto; margin-right:auto;}';doc.documentElement.childNodes[0].appendChild(css);})();</nowiki></pre>

  • I'm developing a web site using MVC3 & Razor, but my css changes do not show up on FireFox, but do on Chrome & Internet Explorer - How can I get Razor to render correctly on FireFox?

    I don't have a public version as I'm just staring development.
    For an example I have completed the walk-thru at [http://www.asp.net/mvc/tutorials/getting-started-with-ef-using-mvc/updating-related-data-with-the-entity-framework-in-an-asp-net-mvc-application]. Then I tried changing minor items in site.css (such as font size) and the changes did not show up on FireFox, but do show up on Chrome and Internet Explorer.
    Example of change below: I changed the background from #e8eef4 to #ff0000. The table header background shows up in red for chrome & IE, but stay in light blue for FireFox.
    <code>
    table th {
    padding: 6px 5px;
    text-align: right;
    background-color: #ff0000;
    border: solid 1px #e8eef4;
    </code>

    You can also reload web page(s) and bypass the cache.
    *Press and hold Shift and left-click the Reload button.
    *Press "Ctrl + F5" or press "Ctrl + Shift + R" (Windows,Linux)
    *Press "Cmd + Shift + R" (MAC)

  • Composing in gmail will not work in firefox, but it does in IE. Why?

    I suddenly cannot compose, reply or access my contacts in gmail when
    I'm using firefox, but I can in IE.
    This problem is on just one computer.
    Turning off Buzz and clearing cookies and cache did not help.

    I had this very problem today. I found the solution through another support request. The DOM storage "cookies" need to be enabled:
