Hello,
Your account shows that you placed the order yesterday (04/20/14) and that PayPal immediately sent it to our third party payment provider (normal procedure). Did you try cancelling the order and starting over?
If this doesn't help contact PayPal and, if no resolution, please contact Skype customer service

  • Safari won't load Paypal but firefox works fine

I've seen a few threads on this problem but nothing I've tried seems to work.  Two days ago safari stopped being able to access Paypal on both my Macbook Air and iMac.  Both machines are less than 6 moths old, running the latest OS X and have all the updates installed.  The problem became apparent when I tried to make an eBay purchase and the redirect to Paypal failed.  I tried opening Paypal from Safari directly and it returns the message "Safari cannot open the page "..." because Safari can't establish a secure connection to the server."
So far, I have checked the date & time settings, rebooted everything, checked all the certificates on Keychain deleting any that had expired and I have changed the DNS settings to 8.8.8.8 & 8.8.4.4 - this had the effect of causing iMessenger to cease to work and also prevented me from accessing the iCloub website stating the same "Failed to open page" message.  In exasperation I have even reinstalled OS X on my Macbook which did work for about thirty seconds, allowing me to login to paypal but on going back to the sight after restarting to double check, it has reverted back to the failed to open page status.  iMessanger and iCloud are now fixed though.
I have downloaded and opened Firefox and tried the same web address and it works fine.
The Paypal issue is a mystery therefore that I hope someone can help with as it's effected both my machines and I have had to revert to the iPhone App to pay for anything using Paypal, which is a pain.  Any ideas would be most welcome.

MIght be a cookies, cache, or extension issue ..
From your Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Privacy tab.
    Click:   Remove All Website Data
    Then delete the cache.
Open a Finder window. From the Finder menu bar click Go > Go to Folder
Type or copy paste the following
    ~/Library/Caches/com.apple.Safari/Cache.db
Click Go then move the Cache.db file to the Trash.
Quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that didn't help, troubleshoot Safari extensions.
From the Safari menu bar click Safari > Preferences then select the Extensions tab. Turn that OFF, quit and relaunch Safari to test.
If that helped, turn one extension on then quit and relaunch Safari to test until you find the incompatible extension then click uninstall.

  • How do I pay for Network Magic from the UK?

Hi, Network Magic was on the software package with my new WAG320N router, I liked the 7 day trial of the pro version, but I'm having problems buying an activation code!
I've tried to purchase online, but because I'm in the UK, my card isn't recognised, which is rare, I've used it on several other US sites. I've tried using Paypal, but there is a server error every time.
I stayed up late and phoned to make the purchase, I tried several times, but every operator refused to accept a UK Mastercard. They told me to go to the store I bought the router and buy the software, which is stupid, its already installed, I just want to activate it! Besides, the store I bought it from, PCWORLD, doesn't stock the software, I've tried!
What is going on? I've emailed the UK Linksys address several times, no answer.
I've tried to give this company some more of my money, but I'm getting very frustrated, any ideas about who to contact would be gratefully received before I give up on the package!
    Thanks from Cornwall

    Hi -
I had the same experience when I tried to upgrade the copy of Network Magic 4 I had purchased r from Pure Networks prior to the acquisition by Cisco. The payment procedure via PayPal failed, and my credit card was apparently refused authorization.
I contacted Cisco and was told that Network Magic (that is, the current version owned by Cisco) was not available for purchase from the EU. This is puzzling, even possibly illegal, and they even added they would not be able to give me the reason.
Does anyone know more about this?

  • Increasing daily/monthly autorecharge limits

    Hi
I have come to the end of my free months unlimited world trial. Auto renewal ghtough PayPal failed. So changed payment method to "from Skype credit" setting that to auto recharge. That has failed too. System says it is due to daily/monthly costs/expenditure limits. Even though I set these myself, I have looked for how to increase these spending limits so that I can have the unlimited world subscription and can't find out how to do this via mobile Android app.
    What happens now?
I have 2 regular weekly Skype calls with the US on Sundays and Tuesdays. So I need this resolved ASAP.
    Grateful for your help.

    Hello
I can see from your account that:
    1. This was due to an insufficient credit balance
    2. Same as 1. above
    3. You can't change purchase limits. These are set by Skype and will increase gradually over time.
For the moment please choose an alternative payment method.

  • PayPal auto-recharge fails even though manual paym...

    Hello,
Every month my PayPal auto-recharge fails. I go into my account, make a manual payment using PayPal, and set up auto-recharge. Then auto-recharge fails.
I have talked to Skype customer support about this more times than I can remeber. The conversation always ends up with them explaining to me how auto-recharge works and listing the same possible reasons for failure that I get in the error email.
Does anyone an idea why this would be?
And please note: My PayPal account is fine. It works every time for manual recharge. Every time. It only fails for auto-recharge. Same account, same credit card. Every time.
Thank you in advance for your help

Hi. My skype account has auto-recharged (through a linked paypal account) 13 times today (5/9/13) for 10 euros each time, even though I did not even login. I am guessing that my account has been hacked and then someone has made calls that incurred charges (see below) so that it would auto-recharge. Could you please look into the history of how this credit was used/transferred and whether any of it can be recovered? I am now down 130 euros and I did not make any of the calls, nor did I explicity authorize the payments.
    Cheers,
    Ray
    You may need to contact customer service for clarifications regarding those charges, and for further assistance;

For the meantime, it may also be advisable to run a full antivirus scan using a fully updated antivirus software, then change your account password as a safety net (just in case your account was indeed hacked/compromised).

  • What can I do about the large number of Paypal payments that fail to go through?

Many of my customers need to repeat their signup process 2 or 3 times before their Paypal payment is accepted.
Or worse still, they think payment has gone through, and unless I check the form responses every day, I don't even know that they think they have registered but in fact haven't paid.

I'm having the exact same problem. It's really bad for business. Any help on this would be greatly appreciated!

  • PayPal Transaction Failed. Still Charged

A few minutes ago, I placed an order for a computer monitor. When I chose to finalize my order, I got a message that there was an authorization failure with paypal. I was still charged for it. The item is still in my cart yet on the paypal order details, there is an order number from Best Buy. I'd like to know if my order is being processed or if something went wrong

    Hi vfrfreak23,
If you weren't provided a BestBuy.com order number, then in all likelihood what you're seeing on your PayPal account is temporary hold and not an actual charge. BestBuy.com does not officially collect funds for most orders until the order has been fulfilled or picked up at one of our U.S. retail stores, but a hold may be placed on the paying card at the time of order creation to verify that funds are available. These holds typically expire within a few business days, although the exact timeframe required varies by financial institution.
With that in mind, I'd be glad to look into this situation on your behalf. I'll need to gather some information in order to do so, so please make sure to check your private messages when you can. You can check your PMs by signing into the forum and then clicking on the letter icon in the upper right-hand corner of the page.

  • Can't get paypal to work?  This may help.

Well, 24 hours after my 32 GB ipod touch purchase, I am not an apple fan. I had a very typical experience, I have windows 7 32bit on a Dell XPS laptop M1530, I downloaded a fresh version of iTunes (9.2.1.5), I upgraded the ipod to newest version (iOS4). Why did I spend so much time getting this stuff to work? I did get it to work, but support was useless and blamed microsoft (in fact I didn't do all the steps correctly).
Anyway a few things I figured out. Before you begin, you need a valid paypal account. You also need internet explorer. This doesn't work on Chrome for whatever reason. You can go to start menu -> Default programs to change web requests to open up IE instead of chrome (then just change it back when you are done with paypal activation).
Also, you need to have activated the computer for use with itunes. Why that's not done when you install is a mystery. From the menu bar at the very top of itunes, go to the store menu, and select 'activate my computer'. Note, you can only have 5 active computers, but you can deactivate all of them. The only way to deactivate individual computers is to have them connected to the network and with itunes, and just go store -> deactivate computer. If the computer is not activated the process will also fail when paypal redirects back to the itunes app.
Next, create/update your itunes account. When you get to the payment options, you select paypal. That launches a web browser. Again, chrome didn't work for me. You go through the paypal logins. When you are done you should get two warning messages, one to display only secure or all content (hit 'no'). The other warning mentions that you are launching an app from a web browser. Click allow (or yes or whatever).
The process should bring you back to itunes purchase setup. Scroll down to the bottom, hit 'done'. To verify, I log out and log back in again, and look up your account info. It should have paypal. Note, once you get this set up, you don't really have to screw with it again I think.
The other tidbit I have is that once you download the apps (click the price tag on the app) you need to sync your ipod. If you click on your ipod on the left menu, then click on apps, select all and click apply on bottom right of screen. That should work.

Also, you need to have activated the computer for use with itunes. Why that's not done when you install is a mystery.
Because you don't need an iTunes account tio use or install iTunes.
You cannot authorize the computer until you have an account because that's what you are authorizing.
Note, you can only have 5 active computers, but you can deactivate all of them.
You can have 5 computers authorized at any one time. You can only select Deauthorize all when you do hae 5 authorized and you can only do it one time per year.
    Next, create/update your itunes account.
Again you cannot "activate" (which is authorize) unless you have an iTunes account. So you cannot authorize iTunes and then create an iTunes account.
