PayPal payment option is broken

I can't believe that iTunes website has such obvious bugs and they are not getting fixed.     I tried selecting PayPal payment method 3 times.   Each time it worked fine on PayPal side and a billing agreement was created, but redirect back to iTunes web site didn't work and when I was trying to get an app I was asked for a card again and again.

Thank you so much for your response because it is helping me to see that this is an INTERNAL problem at ITUNES and it has been ongoing. I see your response is dated 4-26-11 and mine is 12-28-11. This is so RIDICULOUS as you said. ITUNES should be on top of this by now!!!!

    I just recently made a paypal account connected to my bank account!! I also saw that paypal is available in the american app store!! Will it ever be available in switzerland?? Because i think it is kind of unfair if america gets all those special payment options and europeans have to wait years until apple finally decides to enable a feature which already is available everywhere!     Hi, Used to have PayPal as a payment option setup on my Z10, Z30. Just went to purchase an app on my Z30, tried using PayPal option and had to login. Well, it wouldn't login, kept getting red message returned: "We ran into a problem while processing your request. Please try again later. (PS1036lq)". Well, been trying for 2 days, same result. Also went into settings to setup the payment option, same result. What could be causing this? Thanks!

  • Why can't I see my PayPal payment option in my iTunes account?

    Sorry, hit send too soon.  Tried to download from app store for last 2 days, but it said that I have to verify my PayPal account.  Nothing wrong with PayPa (verified thru PayPal) but I don't even see a PayPal option in my iTunes account.  I Remember setting it up when I got my iPad, but why can't I see it now to make changes.  The only thing I see is my credit card info, but downloads won't pull credit card info.

    I figure this out on my own.
    Tap on the graphic of the book (not the chapters link in the top right corner) and the process bar with time played, remaining, and even repeat are available.
    Lesson learned? If you keep tapping, eventually the solution will be found.

    Financial Accounting > Contract Accounts Receivable and Payable > Business Transactions > Payments > Incoming/Outgoing Payment Creation > Define Payment Methods
    and you assign them just one line bellow:

    According to the Apple website itself I can select my Paypal account for iTunes Store purchases. However, following the instructions on said site to enable this, Paypal is not displayed in payment options. Is it only available to U.S. iTuners?

    Are you doing it thru the Settings panel or are you downloading independently thru the App Store?
    Settings / Facebook / Install on iOS 6.1.3 Will need to sign in your valid FB account.

    How did you solve it? I just waited until my credit card expired and kept a gift card balance always running so that I did not have to give them my personal credit card info. They admitted to almost and/or being hacked so why not aloow PayPal or using a credit card without keeping its info?

  • How to remove my payment option on iTunes App Store and iTunes on the iPhone?

    I've had this problem many times and eventually it would just work out after a week or so but I'm tired of that so here's what happens: I use prepaid credit cards for iTunes (I've also used a real credit card and had the same problem) and when they max out or run out of funds it will ask me to verify my payment information. So I sign in and it takes me to the page to update the info I update it to make sure there wasn't just an error and if it says something is wrong I know it's maxed/out of funds. And I'm not allowed to download any apps (including free ones and updates for apps I already own) while this happens. There is no option to remove my payment option, before after about a week of continuously returning to the payment page everytime I try to download/update an app a "none" option will appear below the VISA, MASTERCARD and AMEX credit card type however the option is never there for around the first week and is very frustrating. So how do I get the none option to appear ? Or remove a used/maxed credit/pre paid credit card ?

    Hi, happened to me on a new BB. The hash key for payment is associated with the phone IMEI , for example at paypal.
    With your first purchase on BBworld, it will work again.
    If you go to BBWorld and with your first purchase with the Q10, the payment WILL process and you will have a new hash key with paypal, and under payment options , you will have the options Paypal...Credit Card...etc

  • App payment option for Chinese user

    I previously paid for 1 app with my visa card, there after it just said error ID12000.  I switch to payment option by paypal, but just informed error ID 8450.   I had checked my banker the card is OK for USD payment, & paypal also confirmed my account setup is correct.  What's wrong with app payment system?
    I found there are a lot of Chinese BBer, with same situation.   Isn't it only because China is not listed in Blackberry's payment list?  Can any one help?

  • Web forms taking paypal payments

    Hi all! I remember at the Sydney BC Parters group on 3rd June that one of the presenters said that they had worked out how to take paypal payments from a web form.
    In light of the new changes to offline processing (http://forums.adobe.com/docs/DOC-2321), we would like to change our offline payment processing customers to take payment from paypal instead. However, they use webforms at the moment to take their payments. Can anyone suggest how to take paypal payments from web forms?

    Best thing with BC stuff is to. It hold out waiting for them. Even of they are announced and a date that's 3 months away is set they often do not happen.
    Even when release notes role out and then happens things often are pulled out of them.
    You will need to get a client to use seamless payment gateway or look at other options Mel. No ETA still.

  • Multiple payment option on event web forms

    I would like to be able to allow for a 1 pay and 3 pay option on a web form where it would charge the customer 3 equal payments and then turn off automatically if they choose the 3 payment option.  Has anyone figured out a way to do this form inside of BC?

    We want to give the customer the option of either paying by credit card on our own site (which is seamless) but we also want to give them the option of going to the paypal site which is why we have that radio button option. It seems that if the submit button is pressed but they don't go through with the payment on the paypal site that the event booking still takes place. I know about the "Pay Now" buttons that are used with Paypal standard but the option to insert the paypal payment method is available from the web forms sections of BC. I created the form using the e-commerce part of the web forms section so the option seems to be built into the form code by the BC developers. I'm just wondering whether this is a limitation of using a form with a paypal option on an event booking form. Do you know if there is a workaround, ie. whether there is any code that could check to see if the payment went through before creating the event booking?
    There's also another problem that I ran into when I did a complete test, by clicking the paypal option, and then going through with a payment on the paypal site. The payment went through successfully but then when the browser tried re-directing back to our site, I got the following error:
    ERROR: An unknown error occurred. This is most likely due to the merchant profile not being set up correctly. Please contact your system administrator for help
    I spoke to Paypal about this and they said that this was a problem with the BC code. Do you know what causes this error and what the workaround is?

    I have been trying to use my Visa card to pay for apps but whenever i fill in the Card details and click on next, what i get is "There is a problem with your credit card authorization. Please visit ....... Error ID: 12000"
    I have been using the same card for online transactions and I've not had any issues with it. Would really appreciate help.

    The issue hasn't been resolved. I have checked d article on the 12000 error and also looked at the list of supported payment types. Visa Card was listed as a supported payment option for Nigeria where I am presently. I also tried registering for a Paypal account but Nigeria was not on among the list in the registration page.
    Infact I'm already getting frustrated.

  • Blackberry World will not accept any payment option

    My PlayBook will not accept any payment options to purchase an app. I have purchased the same app on another PlayBook with no difficulty. I have wiped my PlayBook and re-loaded the software with no success. I have tried several different payment options. 

    Further info...
    I wonder if this is related to the lack of a payment option in my User ID account. So I have tried to add a payment option to my Blackberry User ID (found in the Options > Device > Payment and Billing).
    Option 1 doesn't work.
    Selecting Vodafone UK as my paymnet option produces this error message: This feature has been disabled by your system administrator.
    Option 3 doesn't work.
    Choosing Paypal and logging in to my PaylPal account successfully, this creates Pre-approved payment entry in my PayPal account (I can see it as "approved" on the PayPal website), but unfortunately the phone doesn't see this transaction as approved and it fails with a transaction declined error.
    This leaves Option 1.
    Must I enter my credit card details?
    The complete failure of all other attempts doesn't inspire much confidence in this whole Blackberry expedition, so I wonder if it is wise to enter my card details.
