PayPal payment processing temporarily unavailable

OK It's been a week now. I just tried to buy an album and I get the same error message.
Can we get some indication here as to why this is taking SO LONG to fix??
Is everyone else still having the same problems?

I was having the same problem and I couldn't figure it out. So, I decided to have a look at my payment method. I went into edit mode and looked over the info. It all looked fine with my paypal info, so I hit submit. Tried again and it works now. My next course of action was going to be to change over to a credit card payment form. Something flaky with database connectivity, maybe. Try it.

    I Cant Update or download any Apps and Im using IOS7,,,,Am i The only one getting this msg ?

    Contact the iTunes support system for the credit card issue: http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/store/browser/
    You may also want to contact you card vendor and see if there is an issue with their system or your account.
    Further, you might want to try making the modification from another computer (if available and secure/trusted)
    Finally, buy a gift card for now and use that as credit in the interim.

  • Payment Processing Temporarily not available, try again later.

    Hey Guys,
    I might have a solution for the folks who are getting the error "Payment Processing Temporarily not available, try again later".
    If you have an active credit card and trying to purchase/register in the iTunes store this error pops up. On contacting support, they will tell you to check with the bank and they will also suggest an alternative solution for this(purchasing an iTunes Gift Card).
    My Perspective on the Problem:
    The bank or the service which Apple is using to process your card is not a 24hrs service. I am not aware if the same problem is being faced in US, Canada & UK. But seeing the previous discussions on this error, most of the Apple users in India and other countries are facing this. I reside in India and I have faced this problem.
    My Proposed Solution:
    Try registering your card after 9.30am GMT. I was trying to register my card all day long and as soon it was 3am IST, my card got processed and I was able to make purchase on iTunes. So, 3am IST is 9.30am GMT. 9.30am GMT must be the opening time for the day at the bank/service which apple uses to bill users. So, 8 hrs from 9.30am GMT should be the time you should try to use your card on iTunes.
    Apple should take care of this.

    I had this happen earlier this week - thought perhaps it was a Netflix problem.when it contined the next day, I looked for a reset button - there isn't one.  So, I just pulled one of the plugs out from the back of the Apple TV, waited a second and plugged it back in.  Worked like a charm and could now watch my movie.

  • Credit card processing temporarily unavailable?

    I keep trying to buy some music under my account. my card expired so I need to sign up a new one. when I do it says credit card processing temporarily unavailable and to try again later. its been like this for a few days now. is there something wrong with my settings?

    This message can be related to the address format you use or your bank's verifing system. When you put your credit card information into your iTunes Store account, this information is sent to your bank for verification. If the billing address you use does not match the bank's records exactly, and/or is not in standard USPS format, then this could result in the message you are seeing.
    I would ensure that your bank's records are correct and if you still experience the error, just use another credit card or an iTunes Store GIft Card.
    Hope that helps!

    Hi Jakeylittle,
    I apologize, I'm a bit unclear on the exact nature of the issue you are describing. If you are having issues entering or changing your billing information for your iTunes Store account, you may find the following article helpful:

    You need to go to ... iTunes support.

    Incidentally, there have been problems these last few days, particularly with Mountain Lion.

  • Argh...iphone4s - credit card processing temporarily unavailable!?

    ok I really dont like my iphone 4s right now...
    ever since I got it I have been having problems with not being able to call or send sms:es....ok I can....but I basically have to restart the phone...and then I have like 20 seconds to connect the call or it will not work and I have to restart the phone again....but this is a known issue by now I believe....(even though apple sure isnt rushing to solve this issue....which is a bit strange considering its their new flagship and all....)
    Today I got a new problem......now for some reason credit card processing is not working....I get "credit card processing  is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later"......earlier today I got that it was denied and I should use a different payment method.......but I double checked that I had money in my account...and tried a few times with the same result....after a few tries I got the "credit card processing is temporarily...." error...
    so now my situation with my iphone4s is.....invalid sim, no network, and now credit card processing is temporarily unavailable?
    ok...it seems that my iphone 4s has just been reduced to an overpriced camera!
    has this happened to anyone else? and if so...does anyone of you know a solution?
    I live in Sweden and my carrier is Tele2...

    With the first part of that problem, the SIM not recognised, you may want to check for an update.  The 5.0.1 update itself was updated for certain people with the iPhone 4S with that problem. Apple did actually solve it (although I am not sure it fixed this for all).
    For which service was the credit card declined?  If it was iTunes, you may need to re accept the conditions in the iTunes store -- that should have happened with the iPhone connection, though.
    In any case, you might try a reset of the iPhone: hold both home and off buttons down until after the slider appeard and the apple icon comes on the screen.
    You might also ask your carrier or at an Apple store (if there is one convenient to you).

  • Paypal payment processing with Buy Now Button JSC component

    The "Buy Now Button" JSC component is having a property postBackUrl which is supposed to run a program to read (and process) the information from the Paypal server about the payment.
    Can this be a pagebean? (or it must be a Servlet?) Can anyone give sample codes for this implementation?(It is enough to show how to receive the POST data from the Paypal server)

  • Paypal payment processing callback on JSC application

    I have implemented a Paypal payment processig application with JSC, in which the Paypal server will call my Servlet, upon successful completion of the payment.
    The algorithem on the Servlet is something similar to the following:
    if (condition_one){
    database operation_1;
    database operation_2;
    But the problem is, when "condition_1" is met, I have the following cases:
    (1) Sometimes, neither "database operation_1" nor "database operatio_2" is performed
    (2) Sometimes, either "database operation_1" or "database operatio_2" is only performed
    (3) Sometimes, both "database operation_1" and "database operatio_2"are performed
    By theory, only the 3rd case must occur all the time, but I do not understand why the first two cases occur sometimes? Am I missing anything?
    Thank you.

    Here is the part of the code:
    if (paymentStatus.equals("Completed")){
    System.out.println("\"Completed\" is returned by Paypal");
        if(isSubscription){
    System.out.println("Inside the if loop");
        updatePayment(query_1); //This is "database operation_1"
        updatePayment(query_2); //This is "database operation_2"
    In the above code query_1 and query_2 are acting on the same database (on a same computer) but on two different tables.
    The updatePayment(String query) method as follows:
    private void updatePayment(String query){
            Statement sta=null;
            Connection con=null;
           // ResultSet rs=null;
            try {
    System.out.println(" SUCCESS!! (servlet/Payment.java/UpdateDatabase()/ Entered into Try block successfully");
    //Class.forName("com.mysql.jdbc.Driver")
                Class.forName("com.mysql.jdbc.Driver").newInstance();
                Context initContext = new InitialContext();
                DataSource ds = (DataSource)initContext.lookup("jdbc/MySQLDataSource");
                Connection conn = ds.getConnection();
                sta = conn.createStatement();
                sta.executeUpdate(query);
               // rs.close();
                sta.close();
                conn.close();
            System.out.println(" SUCCESS!! (servlet/Payment.java/UpdateDatabase()/ Try block executed successfully");
            } catch (Exception e) {
                System.out.println(" ERROR!! (servlet/Payment.java/UpdateDatabase()/catch blok) "+e.getMessage());
                // e.printStackTrace();

  • PayPal payment Process

    Dearest Need on ur greatest humanitarian response support cooperation as automatically

    Hi Melanie,
    We have been seeing intermittent payment initiation failure since late August. The problem has been reported to PayPal a couple weeks ago, and their engineers are working hard to resolve the issue. As we observed, the payment failure is actually  intermittent. I suspect that you might have encountered the same issue we are seeing.  I apologize for any inconvenience the problem has caused you.
    Could you let us exactly what your failure is? It'll be helpful if you can describe the steps you did until your encountered the failure. And please also tell us the detailed error message if you see one. Could you let me know what paypal email address you have registered in your forms? I can look up the server logs to get more information about the failure.
    For your protection, please directly reply to my email address: [email protected]
    Thanks,

  • Payment Processing Unavailable, Try later

    Does anyone else receive this message? Every time I connect and try to update my credit card info, I get told that payment processing is unavailable at this time. Try later.
    Well, it is later, and later never works either.
    Mike

    Good news. ITunes helpdesk solved my problem with these lines:
    "Although I understand you've already verified your information multiple times, just have a look at your information as it is located on your account at MyInfo:
    https://myinfo.apple.com/cgi-bin/WebObjects/MyInfo.woa
    Ensure that your information matches exactly: including capitalization, abbreviations, punctuation etc. Also, _ensure that there is an evening phone number provided in the appropriate field_. Once you've verified that, try removing the credit card information, and re-entering it. "
    This worked flawlessly... try it.

  • Payment processing problems

    when i go to download any music i get a message saying payment process is unavailable,this has been like this for at least a month ive emailed apple but no responce.has anybody else getting this message?

    If you've gotten no response, check your junk mail folder or try a different email address. The iTunes Store team WILL email you back - they do not ignore emails. There's something going on on your end.
