PayPal Problem with iTunes?

Somebody talked me into getting a PayPal account. I have money in the account, along with a valid U.S. credit card. When I try to set up my iTunes account for PayPal, I get an error saying that I need a domestic funding source. The word I got from PayPal is that they are having a problem with their connection to iTunes. Just wanted to confirm, is any other PayPal users having the same issue?

If you have PP be warned that you have no protections as with a credit card. They are not a bank and don't have to follow the same rules as banks do. You have no recourse but to allow them to be judge and jury if you have a problem.
I had PP in the past and they froze my account for 6 months for no reason. $300 worth. I did get my $$ back but after 6 months and we no longer do business.
Check at www.paypalsucks.com for more horror stories. PP is a difficult company to do business. If you have other methods for paying then consider those options first.

HT1918 Credit Card and Paypal problem

Im having a problem selecting my payment method. If I choose my credicard(MasterCard) apple say this creditcard was declined (and the card is perfect). If I choose the Paypal Apple ask me to contact the support. What am I suppose to do ??

The credit card then is registered to exactly the same name and address (including format and spacing etc) that you have on your iTunes account, and it was issued by a bank in the country where you and your iTunes account are ? If it is then you could check with the card issuer to see if it's them that are declining it, and if not then try contacting iTunes Support and see if they know why it's being declined : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/ - click on Contact iTunes Store Support on the right-hand side of the page
For the PayPal, have you contacted iTunes Support to ask them why you are getting the message to contact them ? If not then you can use the above link to do so (these are user-to-user forums).

Paypal Problem / Account Switch

Hi there, I and my girlfriend both have a spotify premium account. We are paying both over my paypal account. With paypal you can register different bank accounts. We now switched to another bank so I want to stay with the payment option PAYPAL, but want to change the account. How can I change this setting? If I go on Account/Billing I can only select PAYPAL and it will be the exact same bank account - how do I change this? Best,Leo

It was not solved. I had to cancel all other bank accounts on paypal for a month and then re-activate them afterwards (that's a workaround, but not really a solution) - hope that helps a few people in the future or the spotify support to change something.

Need help with new email problem

Hi friends . . . I'm not sure if this is a forum that could help me figure out my new problem . . . but I'll give it a try. . .I need some help . . . My email is sometimes being sent to the wrong address. Instead of my Yahoo address, they're sent to AOL instead. At first I thought this was an eBay or Paypal problem, but other mail that I subscribe to is all of a sudden going to AOL instead of my Yahoo address . . .In all of these cases, the AOL address was never registered with the site. I'm not using an external POP mail program . . . just standard Yahoo mail with iMac and Firefox. Anyone have any clue what's going on . . . .thanks in advance for any help . . .

Paypal Buttons Malfunctioning

I have set up a trial site using Muse that has Paypal Buy Now buttons to sell a product.
I want to sell the product in different countries and so I have created different web pages for each country. On each of these pages is a Paypal Buy Now button with the relevant country setting and currency. (The code for each button having been individually generated on the Paypal site). So far so good.
So I inserted the different bits of html code from Paypal into the different country pages. I previewed in Muse and all looked good. Then I published to a trial site on BC.
Now when I visit the trial site, all the Paypal Buy Now buttons lead to a single checkout page that shows the same currency and the same country setting regardless of the button I used to get there.
All the buttons started out a different bits of html code so I'm not sure how come they're all generating identical checkout pages now.
Is this a Muse problem ? A Paypal problem ? Or is it me that's I malfunctioning ?

Just to isolate the issue, can you try to use paypal button from widgets section , setup different currency and then check if that works.
This would isolate if there is any problem with the generated code which you are using.
Also the seller account should be set to accept the currency selected, which is done from Paypal end.

This is a Paypal problem. Paypal has not updated their plugin to be compatible with Firefox 3.6.x. See the following (read the last paragraph):

Payment pending, unable to contact Paypal through contact us/telephone am VERY annoyed

Would someone help me resolve this problem. I have placed an order for sun glasses to be send to me in the USA. My home address is in UK. Paypal have payment pending and I am unable to contact them through their methods. I am hoping they will see this and contact me so that the problem can be resolved today. My bank account has been verified and the bank knows I am in the USA too. There should be no problem.

For seller protection the seller has to send an item to the buyers registered paypal address unless you added a gift address.However if the seller was happy to send to your new address then are you sure its pending due to a paypal problem?? When you pay a company or website rather than ebay or an individual then its always pending until that company processes your order and captures the pending payment. So it could just be that they have not processed your order yet ?? Why can't you contact paypal? Click on contact bottom of any of your paypal pages if you need more help and you can phone them if you want to. This is a user to user help board and they will not phone you in response to any posts put on this board.

I'm getting this error when I try to buy apps on AppWorld using PayPal:
Problem encountered with PayPal authorization. (Error:0)
How can I fix this? I can buy using credit card but I would rather keep using Paypal. My PayPal account is working fine, even when I select PayPal again from the "Payment Options" menu on AppWorld, it validates my credentials correctly.

Are all fields correct and typo free? Are you entering the same info your bank has. Does the bank have outdated phone number home address etc? Also try using PayPal. I had a similar issue a few years ago and used PayPal problem free.

Never had a problem buying apps on my iphone before. now i get a message saying paypal is not accepted on this devise i went to itunes store like it said and entered my credit card as the payment default but same message keeps coming up and I cant even

I never had problems before buying apps for my iphone 4s. I even bought some today. then I started getting a message that paypal is not compatible with itunes and I had to go to my account and put a defferent payment. I did that but I still can't buy apps or even download free apps. Has anyone else had this issue and how did you fix it?

Believe me when I tell you, If you are the person who fixes this problem, I will GLADLY Paypal you $100.
This is so unbelievable. Short story is, after 12 hours of paid support through Support RIX, 6 hours with TWC support, and 4 different modems there isn't a single person in these groups that can get ports forwarded on my Linksys E4200 router.
I am running a fresh copy of windows 7 with all updates and no anti virus installed. I purchased a Motorola ARRIS SURFboard modem 200 series DOCSIS 3.0 so I have no double router issues. Before I was using the TWC moden/routers in bridge mode.
I have no problem setting a static IP or configuring port forwarding. It doesn't matter if I have windows firewall on or off. I can't get an outside port checking website that can verify an open port.
I am trying to play Battlefield 4 using the port forwarding request they provide.
If I run a local port check program on my computer it will confirm the ports open. Ok, Fair enough. They tell me the outside port checking utilities will say the port is closed unless I am running the program that uses these open ports.
SO I run the game and check and it always says port closed. One of the ports I want to open is 80. It has to be open to get internet anyway but it still shows closed using the online port checking websites.
I connected the computer to the modem. No router. I keep getting ports closed or filtered when I check through 6 different port checking sites. Leads me to think their is some kind of block in the ethernet card software.
Its a Realtek PCIe GBE Family controller with a driver date of 8/26/2014. Latest one I could find.
I think its an ethernet card filter. Just my thoughts. Here is the current adapter card settings.

I used a port tester downloaded from PCWinTech.com v3.0.0. It says the ports are open. When I close port 80 it says port 80 is closed. My problem is nothing outside my network can confirm an open port. It always states port closed.
The game I am playing is Battlefield-4. I have played all of the campigns without any problem but once online it crashes. The BF-4 community says I need to open 5 single ports and 5 port ranges. This is what I am trying to do.
We have tried an ARRIS router modem, a Ubee router modem (both in bridge mode) and are now using a motorola modem. All with the same problem. We checked the ports during game play and they all say closed.

What Firmware version is currently loaded?
What region are you located?
What is your current model ISP modem your using now?
What ISP Modem service link speeds UP and Down do you have?
Check cable between Modem and Router, swap out to be sure. Link>http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/CAT6 is recommended.
Check ISP MTU requirements, Cable is usually 1500, DSL is around 1492 down to 1472. Call the ISP and ask.

Router and Wired Configurations
Setup DHCP reserved IP addresses for all devices ON the router. This ensures each devices gets its own IP address when turned on and connected, eliminates IP address conflicts and helps in troubleshooting and maintain consistency for applications that need to connect as well as mapped drives.
Ensure devices are set to auto obtain an IP address.
If http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ipv6 is an option on the router, select Local Connection Only.
If you set up port forwarding, disable uPnP and test.
When you check for port status, you have to be actively using the port before you scan check as you may get a false negative if your not using the port. If your using the port then check the status, you should get an accurate result.
I would try using Port Range Triggering instead of PF and set up the port as follows for your PC that your gaming with:
0 thru 65535. A bit less hassle to set up then all those different port rules.
PC 3rd Party Security Software Configurations
Turn off all anti virus and firewall programs on PC while testing. 3rd party firewalls are not generally needed when using routers as they are effective on blocking malicious inbound traffic.
Turn off all devices accept for one wired LAN PC while testing.
Disable any downloading client software managers, i.e. Torrents or similar.

Although i share your feelings and are not very happy with iOS 7 myself i think your should rethink how to express this anger. Since this is a user to user forum and apple will not directly read in here you can go to www.apple.com/feedback to tell them. If you lower the tone down a bit it is much more likely that your feedback will be considered.
Now bad feelings, though.

Problems with purchase mapping with Paypal

I am designing a purchasing order form that somehow isn't translating well with Paypal. It integrates with Paypal, but when I test it, the quantity field is interpreted as a price field. I started out with the 'Sales Order' template. The keystrokes in the video tutorial are vague and seem to skip a step. I am just not understanding it.
What type of fields will add a purchase to the Paypal order?
In the Paypal 'Collect Payments' section, the Price field will not accept a fixed price. The 'User input' dropdown includes a 'Fixed Price' but when I click it it says "The selected price type is not valid for this purchase field. The change will be reverted." The 'Quantity' field registers a $1 amount for each item in the order.

Problems printing international shipping labels in PayPal since updating to iOS 7

Problems printing international shipping labels in PayPal since updating to iOS 7. When I press the reprint label button, another tab opens up, which it did in the previous version but instead of the shipping label bring displayed I get a message saying cannot open page as the network connection has been lost. By this point I have already been charged for the shipping. Any ideas why???

I have the same problem, not just with international labels, but with any shipping labels in Paypal. iPhone 5 and iPad w/ Retina Display using iOS 7.0.2.
