Paypal never sends messages like that. It sounds like a phishing attempt. Go ahead and delete the message, but report it to Paypal so that they can take investigate.

Yes, I just noticed this after upgrading to 5.0.1. That's why I came here to this forum. I tried re-syncing with address book, but it didn't help. Not only is my text messages only showing phone numbers, instead of contact names, but my call log is doing that as well.

I updated my iPhone 3G today and after the update it said on iTunes that my sim was not compatible and my iPhone screen went on to slide for emergency/connect to itunes. Ive tried restoring it but it hasnt worked. Please help!
Unless the iPhone was purchased as unlocked very recently directly from an Apple Store (the only place in the US where unlocked iPhones are sold, and then only since June), which from the symptoms I doubt is the case, then it was locked to AT&T and jailbroken to make it work with an Irish cell carrier. Updating the operating system has now relocked the iPhone back to AT&T.
Only the cell carrier can institute an official unlock, one which will hold across updates of the operating system, and AT&T will not do so for any reason. All we can advise here is that you return the iPhone to your uncle and purchase an iPhone there in Ireland.

Has anyone had a problem purchsing movies from iTunes in the last week? Everytime I try to buy a movie or TV show I get a message from iTunes saying "You purchase was incomplete please contact www.apple.com/support/iTunes/ww/." which is no help, still waiting for help!

I just downloaded a new software update to my ipod touch and now the ipod and screen are frozen. I received a message that the download was not successful and now my screen is showing the blue round itunes symbol with an arrow pointing to the symbol and shows a cable below it. I have tried the restart of pushing the two buttons together and waiting 10 seconds for the apple symbol which appears and then go backs to the same stuck symbol. My computer is not recognizing the ipod either and will not connect. What needs to be done? Thanks.
Try manually placin the iPod in Recovery Mode and restore via iTunes.
Next try DFU mode and restore

But I am getting the warning message saying that my browser can not use the clipboard, and I am unsure of how to take a picture, then paste it, and crop it all on to a power point.

Have Ipod Touch 2nd Gen. 64 gig. I noticed that my music will not play alphabetically anymore. Don't know exactly when this occured. I checked all my settings so doesn't seem to be that.Apple no longer is upgrading this unit..I use windows XP but don't believe this is an issue since i have read posts saying this is not the problem..right now am converting my higher bit rate music to see if that changes anything. I also turned off my unit and the next thing am going to do is a restore if this doesn't work. Anyone find a fix for this yet? I also see that this is not a unique problem to Gen 2 units and is occuring on newer units as well..thank you all for any advise...

hello there! i am using Adobe acrobat pro DC and using windows 8.1. Recently I was trying to convert a web page (includes Greek letters) into PDF. I noticed that the conversion is not accurate, some words are missing, some are misplaced. Especially Greek words are not accurately converted or even not converted. Please give me some suggestions to improve this issue. Regards

How have you been trying to convert the web page to PDF?
Are you trying to convert to PDF directly via browsers or using "File > Create > PDF from Web Page" option in Acrobat.
Let me know more so that I can analyze where actually the issue persists.

If that does not help, perform a PRAM reset.

I have an iMac. I noticed that I have both versions 8 and 9 of Adobe Reader. Can I remove version 8 ?
Yes.
If you double click on a PDF and your system uses 8 to open it, you may have to repair (Help>Repair... in Reader) the 9 installation or you could change your file associations to use 9 to open PDF files.
If 9 opens them already, just remove 8 and you're good to go. -

There appear to be big problems with Mavericks Mail, particularly if it's used for Gmail. Have other users noticed that it slows to a crawl and can't reload the contents of a folder instantly....Is there a fix coming?
There is a large thread relating to Gmail, but nothing that sounds like that.
Nobody here knows what Apple is going to do.
You might try removing the Gmail account and then add it back in.
