- Currently using PayPal Standard - and the Registration Buy Form has been edited to have only the PayPal selection.
- Want to change to PayPal PayFlow Pro (have API signature)
- Will the Registration Buy form update to have all the payment choices?

PayFlow Pro Certs Path

I am having difficulties configuring my credit card gateway. I have downloaded the SDK for PayFlow Pro (PayFlow Pro .NET v4.3.1), but the SDK provides no certificate. According to PayPal, as of version 4.3, PayFlow Pro no longer uses a certificate.
If I try leaving the "Certs Path" entry blank, I receive the following error on checkout:

I saw this issue addressed in the forums a while back in February of 2008, but I did not see an answer or resolution. Is there an update for the software that I don't have? Is there any workaround to this?
Just as the previous poster in February of 2008 did, I called PayPal and had them send me a legacy SDK with a certificate, but according to him this will stop working as of September of this year.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I've been looking at that, but I don't find it particularly helpful because he doesn't appear to even have a "Certs Path" entry. Does he possibly have a different version of Web Tools installed?
Is there a possibility that I have the wrong version installed? This was installed by a third party about two months ago.

I have tried many different URLs in the URL edit box, and I don't think that's the problem. The problem appears to be that Web Tools is requiring a PayFlow Pro certificate, which the company no longer provides.

Integrate payflow pro into a Flex cart system.

I was wondering if anyone had integrated payflow pro into their flex based cart system and if so, if you could point me to any examples or tutorials you used. The rest of the cart is essentially designed and I have just started on the paypal integration and haven't been able to find and examples on the HTTPS implementation specifically for actionscript.

There is a note for 5.9 that needs(obviously) to be updated to 2007.
Here are the settings:
User - "login" provided by Verisign
Password - provided by Verisign
VendorCode - Same as User
URL - payflowpro.verisign.com/transaction
Partner Code - PayPal
Certs Path - Location of payflowpro SDK certificate, as documented in payflowpro SDK, Typically "C:\Windows\certs" on the webserver
Steps:
1 - Download payflowpro SDK from the Verisign Manager website
2 - Extract Zip file to temp location on Web server
3 - Locate the certificate file, probably in the certs directory
4 - copy this file to C:\Windows\Certs
5 - Enter the above information in web tools admin
The error you are getting is because it is missing a field on the cc gateway page in the web tools admin

Payflow Pro password authentication issue

Hi, I posted this elsewhere but it might have been in the wrong forum...so here goes again.
I changed my password on paypal manager not realizing it's the same password linked to Payflow Pro.
Shortly thereafter, I received an error indicating 'User authentication failed:Invalid user/merchant login/partner/password entered.'
I typed in the new password in the verisign .ini file on my local computer, re-started SAP, re-started the client but same message.
The original password in the .ini file had a 'JP' at the end although that's not part of the password, I tried with and without the 'JP' added to the new password.
Is there someplace else the password needs to be changed?

OK, I restarted my client with the original verisign.ini file dropped back in and Voila, it works.
I really wanted to change my password to a more secure/stronger password so I'm still back to square one.
Any suggestions where the password needs to be changed besides the verisign.ini file Gordon?
In addition, I don't know why the verisign.ini file adds a 'JP' to the end of the password which appears scrambled by the way.

Payflow Pro, Australia

I have entered required information to setup Payflow Pro, but it not showing in the frontend. I can only see the Website Payment Standard option, i dont see the credit card option. Do i need to clear any cache to reflect on my frontend?

Hi there,
You need to edit the payment form html to have this. If it is not in the html of the form it needs to be added in. Just adding payment gateway information into the form does not automatically update it.

Acrobat 8 Standard and Acrobat X Pro unable to install

Hello,
I have purchased Acrobat 8 Standard and Acrobat X Pro, and have both serial numbers.
I am unable to install either in my new computer.
I do not have a disc for Acorbat 8, but do have one for Acrobat X Pro.
I have tried downloading from Download and Installation Help. I received the following error message: "Setup has detected that you already have a more functional product installed. Setup will now terminate."
I have uninstalled and re-installed 8.
I have used the Adobe Reader and Acrobat Cleaner.
Nothing has worked so far.
I received an email from Adobe Help & Support. I replied in order to set up an appointment, but never received a response.
It was suggested in one of the last communications in another forum, that I post a new discussion in the Acrobat Installation & Update Issues forum.
Please help.

It is not recommended to download and run two Acrobat versions on the same machine as it can lead to some conflicts between the two and as well as with the activation server .
Try and use single software on one machine .
Please use the Adobe Cleaner tool to uninstall the software .Here is the link for the same .

Once uninstalled ,try downloading the software once again and see if that works for you .Make sure you disable all the third party software while the installation is in progress to avoid any interruption.
Or you could refer the following to download Acrobat X Pro .Acrobat 8 standard ,as it is an older version would not be available now .
You could try and download Acrobat X referring the following KB document and serialize by typing the serial number mentioned on the disk .

Netpoint 5.9.0 and Payflow Pro

I'm sorry if this has been asked before - i've been looking around for more information but have not found much as of yet.
Simply put, I am trying to get Netpoint working with Payflow pro, and I'm not entirely sure what steps I need to follow to do so. Is there a walkthrough or some such that gives some instructions? Currently the only information I seem to find deals with Webtools, which seems to be quite differently configured than Netpoint.

Hey Jennifer, payflowpro can be a little complicated to set up, that's why I always use auth.net if given a choice.
If you look in the payflowpro folder there should be some testing bat files in the win32\bin folder. You need to enter you credentials and order info and run it in command prompt and see what returns. It may be a problem with how it's installed and not necessarily a problem with webtools.
I haven't installed this in a while but I do remember having problems with the cert path. I believe in some environments it has to be installed in a certain location but I don't remember where. If the test batch file doesn't work I'd suggest looking on the payflowpro site and search based on your OS.

Verisign Payflow PRo and Sun JCE

We have been trying to integrate verisign's payflow pro java APIs for credit card processing. THe integration works fine when run directly from a unit test, but fails when it is run inside the weblogic server.
As an FYI -
The sunJCE provider is specifically unloaded by WebLogic Server if it is found to be registered statically. If you require the sunJCE provider, load it dynamically.
Add --
java.security.Security.addProvider(new com.sun.net.ssl.internal.ssl.Provider());
java.security.Security.addProvider(new com.sun.crypto.provider.SunJCE() );
to your class to fix the problem

Adobe Standard upgrade to Adobe Pro

Currently I have Adobe Standard on my computer and have purchased an upgrade to Adobe Pro - do I need to uninstall Adobe Standard before installing Adobe Pro or do I just install it over the current version?

But to answer your question, just install it. It will remove the previous version by itself.

Upgrade Office 2010 Standard to Office 2010 Pro Plus using Config.xml

I am upgrading Office 2010 Standard to Office 2010 Pro Plus. But after using the below config pro plus did get installed but both versions of Office 2010 ( Stand and Plus ) show up on the machines. I want only Office Pro plus to appear.
The second issue is that even after uninstalling Office 2010 Standard from the Control panel the Office shows activation of both ( Going to --File ---Help)
How can I edit this config.xml to remove office 2010 Standard first and then upgrade to Office 2010 Pro Plus?

Here is not a Config.xml solution, but we can use it as a workaround, basically automate the uninstallation of Office 2010, reboot the computer and then deploy Office 2010. You may find the following article useful if you need more info on that.

Installing upgrade from Acrobat XI Standard to Acrobat Xi Pro

I am trying to install an upgrade from Acrobat 11 Standard to Acrobat 11 Pro. I have purchased and upgrade license. When I try to install the Pro upgrade, I get a message that a product with higher functions is already installed and it terminates the install. Does anyone have any suggestions?

I would recommend you uninstall Std, run http://labs.adobe.com/downloads/acrobatcleaner.html, remove any left over Acrobat folder parts (in Program Files>Adobe), reboot, and install. You will likely have to give the S/N for Std as the qualifying product for XI Pro.

Paypal payflow intigration with SAP ABAP

I have a request to do a payment confirmation using SAP. all authentication happens on the web layer where java is used . my requirement is to get the payment when the invoice is created with a given token.
I have checked payflow integration documents and what i got was 2 options
1) xmlpay
2) HTTPS
I got some information about https and only thing is to create the rfc to call the https interface i need few things like cryptography and ssl installed in SAP.
I am wondering if xmlpay might help be easy to implement.

I have a requirement on doing a delayed capture transaction from SAP during invoice creation. I have got some info on who to do it using HTTPS connection but it requires some set up like sap cryptography and https set up. there is some other way using XMLpay but i am not sure who i can do that from SAP.
can anyone help me out on this. I am not sure if this is the right forum since i didn't find any related topic
