Scenario is like this:
simulation is working fine, no modification in control records, only usual release no such error in past.
And this is a critical period as i have to run now.

UK Payroll PU12 Issues

Hello Friends: I have issues in UK Payroll PU12. Wage types in SAP are not going to Ceridian file. Mostly happening with IT0014 wagetypes. I noticed that if I generate the File layout in PU12 then the wage types are going to Ceridian file. However, not advisable to generate the FileLayout without Code changes in PU12. Is there anyway I can resolve this. Any help is greatly appreciated.

Hi - just had a new iphone4 delivered. I have also been waiting for about 3 hours now for activation. From what i have researched it can take anywhere between 1 and 48 hours to activate (seems a bit extreme in this instant modern world!)
If you are upgrading form an iphone 3G or 3Gs (like me) - apparently the simm activation is automatic after you have connected and synced from your itunes. So you shouldn't need to do anything.

But even this does not speed up the process, it can still take a while... I'll let you know how long it it eventually took.

Payroll retro issue - related to /563

Hi PY experts,
Problem:
I have one PY retro issue.
Issue reported in December is :- One employee has a /563 claim of $18.45 (Claim from prev mth).
Why is here a deduction shown for this payslip?.
Issue reported in Jan 2010 is :- same employee has $99.3 (Claim from prev mth).
My analysis and details are as follows:-
December retro triggered for Oct,Nov.
Jan 10-retro triggered for June 09 onwards.
/561(amt employee owes to employer) in Nov in December run:- 18.45.
/561 in Nov in Jan'10 run:-117.75
So,
/563(claims from previous month) in December in december run:-18.45
/563 in December in Jan'10 run:-117.75
So,
99.30 SGD shown in Jan 2010 is the difference between the figures which was displayed in the last month.Ies (117.75 - 18.45 ) =99.30 .
-But my understanding is /561 will get formulated only in case the /110+/550 is negative.
But in this employee's scenario this amount is not coming as negative.Then how /561 is getting formulated even though( /110+/550 ) is not negative?
There is only difference between different runs of payroll of /101 . here is no difference in /110 amounts for same months in different runs.
So retro triggered thru the payment wage types(Cumilation 01).So I have run the wage type reoprt for comparing these wage types.(I can fwd this to email)
My doubts /help required areas are :-
1) How /561 is getting formulated even though( /110+/550 ) is not negative?
2) I can forward the details in proper excel format(easy to compare kind) -monthly wage type comparison report
which is related to (/101) wise reoprt , pls help me to find out how the exact amount is getting formulated.

Service Bus with WCF in IIS 8 with Application Initialization Issue

I’m running service bus 1.1 on premise locally and have it hooked into a wcf service using netMessagingBinding.
I installed Application Initialization and set Start Mode to AlwaysRunning for the application pool, and set Preload Enabled to true for the site.
I also have the appropriate <applicationInitialization> section in the web config where I added the service to an initializationPage.
The message gets delivered if I hit the endpoint in my browser, and even if I do an IIS reset, it still gets delivered, however I had to hit the endpoint first manually.
If I do a clean (or edit any of the wcf code files) and build, it won’t get delivered until I hit the endpoint.
I get similar behavior when I set a break point in the service and attach to the w3wp.exe process.
If I do a clean and build and set a break point in the service code, it has the open red circle that says breakpoint will not be hit, no symbols have been loaded for this document.
When I hit the endpoint, the open red circle gets filled, and the endpoint can be hit.
I’m guessing these 2 go hand in hand with what I’m seeing with the service bus.
Setting up Application Initialization fixes the issue if I restart IIS, it can continue to receive messages, however I first need to hit the endpoint.
I just don’t know how it handles the scenario when it first gets deployed (like when I do a clean and build).
I thought the Application Initialization would of handled this but I’m probably missing something.

PU12 Transaction: Mutilple Payroll Area Issue

Dear All,
I am going under very strange issue with PU12 transaction. This transaction runs fine and export payroll data if a person is hired only in one Payroll Area.
Like, if a employee E123456 is hired under Payroll Area - 99 and if this is still under that payroll area in HR-Infotype 1 THEN PU12 will work fine.
If employee is transferred to some other payroll area - 01. So this time Infotype 1 will have two record - Initial Hired Payroll 99 (delimited) record and current Payroll Area 01 record.
When PU12 transaction starts for this employee it only will run for Initial Payroll Area (in this case 99). Whatever the data under Payroll Area 99 time span will only get processed.
Whatever the data will come under new Payroll Area 01, it will not get processes.
Is there something missing in configuration side or something to be added explicitly?

Initialization issues

hi,
   i am using data source figl_6. i have initialized the delta process with few selection conditions and have been running deltas for a while. i have to change the selection conditions and start the initialization again. so i have cleared the contents of data target and initialized with out data trasfer again with the new selection conditions. when i run the deltas now it says no new deltas available. but when checked for the period i am extracting there is data for that selection conditions. i dont know where i am going wroung. can any body help me with this.

    we have moved into the production box last month and we have quite time on saturday nite for the initialization. so we have scheduled all the initializations with the following selection conditions for the fiscal yyear/period 006.2006 with other selections. we find that the other selections are wroung and we r suppose to scedule the initializations again. so rather then waiting till saturday nite i thought if i can change the selections to my requirement and with the same fiscal year/period i run the initialization with out data transfer. but the deltas from there on are not working.
can u please tell me how to get the initialization and deltas running from the mentioned period.

UK Payroll :Pension issue

Hi Experts,
This is related to Additional Voluntary contributions.When an employee is on whole month unpaid leave and there is an entry in InfoType 71,Additional Voluntary Contributions,Flat rate,this is calculated and shown on the payslip although the emp doesnt have sufficient amount (as he is on unapid leave whole month).
We tried putting the wage type in the arrears table(V_T51P6)So that it will not deduct that amount for the month he is on unpaid leave but still its deducting.
Any help on this would be appreciated with higher points?

Payroll>payroll great britain>Pension Schemes.
Here you need to maintain all required customising for the pension schemes.
Band numbers are used in the calculation of Percentage and Mixed-rate Pension Scheme contributions
Pension Band Level.
The band levels divide the pensionable pay into bands. The band levels can be set at the figures of your own choice.
The band levels are used in the case of Percentage Pension Schemes to calculate the percentage contribution amounts from each band.
With a Mixed-Rate Pension Scheme either a flat-rate or a percentage contribution will be calculated from each band of the employee's salary.

Payroll Period Issue

Dear Gurus,
                    In Payrol Control Record
If i put Payroll Period 12 2009 01.03.2010 - 31.03.2010
& Earliest retro acctg period       12 2009 01.04.2009
Save then if i change Payroll Status Release Mode then
Payroll period               01 1976 01.01.1976 - 30.04.1976 is coming which is wrong.
Please Advised why is coming wrong

and check the assigment of the above said parameters with the pay roll area in table V_T549A
later generate the Pay roll periods and check
there might be some in consistency while generateing the pay roll periods

Adhoc query - Total payroll day issue on infotype 2001

Dear Expert,
I am working on the adhoc query and would like to generate the total number of payroll days taken by a particular employee.
E.g. Employee A has 4 leave record in Nov 2011
14-Nov, 16, Nov, 23 Nov, 25 Nov
When I select the reporting period between 1-Nov-2011 to 30-Nov-2011, the total payroll days generated by the adhoc query is only 1. I am not sure why. Please help

Might be remaining days are Non working days/Weekly offs/ Holidays falls..
You Better Check through PA30 Overview of Absence records, Whether the Days are deducted from Quota or not.
Need to check absence class in V_554s_0

FCoE initialization issues on 1020 CNA & Nexus 7k

We recently started using FCoE SANs in our environment. Servers are IBM Server X with the Dual Port 1020 CNA installed. SAN implementation on a Cisco Nexus 7k with an F1-32 port module installed. FCoE is licensed on the module and a storage VDC has been created.
Problem is the CNA never shows up on the Nexus switch when you query the flogi database and we turn on debug on the switch, we notice flogi login failures. We doubled checked the Qos policies on the switch, seems that for the Nexus 7k you only need the default-nq-7e-policy and -nq-7e-ndrop-fcoe policies. Does anyone have any experience with using the Nexus 7k for FCoE deployments?

Initialization Issues - MacBook from TC

New MacBook (Aluminum) initialization screen gave me the option to initialize from a Time Machine image.
The MacBook initialization located the TC telling me that it had two images - this was correct.
Selected TC and the system hung with a rotating rainbow disc.
Solution was to use Migration Assistant over ethernet from original system.
Then, couldn't mount new system on TC until I filled in System Name in Sharing panel in System Preferences.

Yes, you can restore your entire system to the exact state it was in at the time of any backup.
See #14 in Time Machine - Frequently Asked Questions (or use the link in *User Tips* at the top of the +Time Machine+ forum). So make sure your Install disc is available. As noted there, it will be much faster if you connect via Ethernet.
And you can browse the backups from a different Mac. See #17 in the same place.

Database Initialization Error

Hi,
I was trying to initialize my DB and I get this error "Upgrade Wizard did not complete successfully. Please examine the log file for details and restart the Siebel application to attempt the upgrade again. "
Where to look for these log files ?
What exactly to look for in these log files ?
Because of no Error Code I am not able to find much detail on the net. If anybody has faced this issue please help me resolve the issue.

Excel initialization error

I have problems with excel sheet powerpivot data initialization issue. The error message:
"Initialization of the data source failed. Check the database server or contact your database
administrator. Make sure the external database is available, and then try the operation again. If you see this message again, create a new data source to connect to the database".
When the excel sheet is opened with Microsoft Excel manually, there is no issue; but, when
the VB script coding with opening the excel sheet, some of excel sheets will have the error message. One of Excel sheets has issue, change Excel powerpivot menu manually configuration with OLAP Drill through: 1000000, changed to 1000, the error message goes
away.

I can reproduce the issue every time for some excel sheet. Those excel sheet are using same database source: Navision database, configuration database from the website, etc. And then, I did some work:
I edit global environment variable: VSTO_SUPPRESSDISPLAYALERTS to 0, and then,
some of excel sheets have error message next is "The embedded powerpivot data is corrupt. You have the following options", I chose "Attempt to recover the structure of the powerpivot data"; but the reports in pdf shows empty data.
   Code sample is the following, please notice that I set up waiting for 60 seconds to do refreshing, sometimes 90 seconds; the error message comes out in less than 10 seonds, so I do not think that the code of executing the VB script is the issue.

Get read-only error when trying to create via CI

I have created a component interface of the VCHR_EXPRESS component (along with the proper component fix for an initialization issue). I had VS generate a create_ex XML schema to be used by BizTalk (PS adapter) to create a new voucher. When I try to execute this create xml, I get a "psft.pt8.joa.JOAException: Property is read-only XXXXX" exception. The fields listed in the error log are empty in the XML instance (although the tags exist). For example, I get this error: psft.pt8.joa.JOAException: Property is read-only ADDRESS1_VNDR_1 (1,56). But in my xml instance it looks like this: <ns0:ADDRESS1_VNDR_1></ns0:ADDRESS1_VNDR_1>. There is no value so I'm not trying to set it. Could the error message mean I don't need this field period, i.e. remove it entirely?

@icloud.com addresses are being rolled out over an unspecified period: you will get one without having to do anything, and it will be additional to your @me.com address. You will get a notification email when your account is updated. You will notice that the alias creation pane shows @icloud.com as the suffix - apparently new @me.com addresses cannot be created and I imagine you will have to wait until your account is upgraded before you can create an alias.
