Bonjour, suite à pb, je veux reinstaller photoshop element 10 sous windows 7, j'ai retelechargé depuis la boutique ma commande de 2011.Je lance l'instal et message m'indiquant ( Specified path is empty ).Je ne sais pas quoi faire.De l'aide svp.

Un article (en anglais) semble pointer comme solution l'outil Microsoft Fix It qu'il suffirait de lancer en suivant les instructions puis reprendre l'installation. Dîtes nous si cela correspond.

I've been using Premiere Elements 9 for a couple of years now, and a few months ago I began having problems importing AVI files created from a BlackMagic Intensity Pro capture card. (These issues were not previously occurring, and since they surfaced, I have exhausted the various settings for the BlackMagic card, used various software such as BlackMagic's own Media Express as well as the freeware VirtualDub, and still have the following problems.)
In addition, these AVI files play just fine, in their entirety, using Windows Media Player and in Quicktime.
The problem (or possibly two, but I suspect they could be related) is that most of the AVI files I attempt to import will either (1) import all video and NO audio, or (2) import ONLY a short segment of audio and video, and the length that Elements imports varies. Usually only in the range of a minute or two. The rest of the file is not imported at all.
After much digging in forums, and testing various settings in trying to figure out the issue, I decided to back up all of my files and completely wipe all hard drives and start over with a fresh installation of Windows and Premiere Elements 9. I haven't installed much else yet, as I wanted to first find out if the reinstallation improved things with Elements.
For the first project I created in Elements after the reinstallation, Elements successfully imported an entire AVI that was nearly 2 hours long, audio and video. This was a file that previously would not import properly into Elements. This suggested that my earlier installation of Elements must have been corrupted somehow. At this point I was very hopeful that all was well.
I proceeded to edit the video as I had wanted, saved the project, and exported it to an MPEG format file. I had originally wanted to export it as an MOV, but I hadn't yet installed Quicktime, so Elements couldn't do that just yet. The MPEG export was successful and plays fine.
However, I then installed Quicktime, and once it was finished, I restarted the PC and reloaded the same project. This time, Elements claimed the media was offline. I double-clicked on a segment of the video, and directed Elements to the raw file, but then an error message popped up: "The selected file cannot be linked because its type (video) does not match the original file's type (audio and video)." This was the same file I had JUST edited and of which I created an MPEG.
I tried creating a new project and the "Get Media" function to import the AVI again, but this time only the video imported with NO audio. (This would explain why the error message said what it did, but not why the audio wasn't imported.)
What in the world is going on with Elements??? I am baffled since the ONLY task I have done on this machine after a complete reinstallation of both Windows and Elements is edit one AVI. I find it very hard to believe that just installing Quicktime caused this.
Some info on my system:
System: Asus P6T w/ Intel i7 920 and 12 GB memory
OS: Windows 7 Ultimate
Video Software: Premiere Elements 9
Capture Card: BlackMagic Intensity Pro (PCI-e)
Capture Software: AVIs recorded with either BlackMagic Media Express or VirtualDub (only prior to the reinstallation, as neither of these programs are currently installed)
I'm getting to the point with Elements that I might need to just abandon it and find something else that is more reliable. Anybody have suggestions to help with this, so I won't have to migrate?

We think that we need to start off with definiting the properties of these .avi files that you are importing into Premiere Elements 9.0/9.0.1 (assumed that you are working for the required 9.0.1 Update).
You say that the "avi" was created from a "BlackMagic Intensity Pro capture card". What are the properties of this .avi that you imported into Premiere Elements? Not all .avi are created equal. What is the video and audio compression, frame size, frame rate, interlaced or progressive, pixel aspect ratio, typical duration?
Based on the properties of the video what have you been setting as the project preset?

Missing albums after reinstallation of photoshop elements 12.

I have just restored my catalog after a reinstallation of photoshop elements 12 due to some corruption on my laptop (not in photoshop). I have the images but my albums aren't there, it is just showing the folders on the external harddrive where the images are held. Can anyone advise?

Hi, I tried the reinstall but the restore hasn’t worked. When set up for restore catalogue from my back tly file. It said that it was an incremental back requiring 7 discs but I have only ever backed up to the same back up file. After initiating the restore it asked for the next file but there was only the one file.

Photoshop Elements 5.0 doesn't start after reinstallation

On my Windows 7 system was PE 5.0 up and running. Due to a system error I needed to Recover the system and afterwards réinstall all programs, including PE 5.0. Th installtion went correct, but the prgram doesn't start I've removed all temp internet files, but that doesn't help. What do?

I didn't have the PSE 5,02 patch installed. But when I did, I received the following error message:
Setup cannot find Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0.
Please re-install Adobe Photoshop Elements 5.0 before applying this update.

I re-installed PSE 5.0 again (tyherefore I needed to delete my Temp internet files, before I coulkd install it). The installation seemed to be right, but I still can not strat the program (no error message) and I can't install the patch (same message)

After changing my mac mini 2009 with a mac mini late 2012, and using Time machine for the reinstallation, Lightroom is operational but Photoshop elements is said to have a license no more valid (code error 150:30). I tried all solution I found to no avail

Alain Picard this error often occurs due to incorrect file permissions or corruption of licensing data during the Time Machine restore. What version of Photoshop Elements were you using? I would recommend that you remove and reinstall it using the uninstaller located in the Applications/Utilities/Adobe Installers folder.

you're allowed two concurrent installation/activations with your single user license. you have/had one on your old hd which ideally would have been deactivated before removal to preserve your two installs/activates.
you can install/activate all adobe products unlimited number of times but, as mentioned, only two at any one time (and both to be used by you).

Photoshop Elements reinstallation

Friends! I have some problems. Some years ago I bought a tablet wacom along with a software disc of Photoshop Elements with the license keys of versions 4.0 and 5.0. Up to now I used PC(Windows XP) and my computer proposed me to install ver 5.0 only. And everything runs well. So, I decided to install PSE on my iMac and disc proposes to install ver.4.0 only, but after installation my system informed me, that installer found an error, which crushed the installation process and advised me to contact to the software supplier. Thus, has anybody ever faced such problem? Maybe this version of soft went out of date? But this ver. satisfy me and I don't want to bye a new one. Do you have any ideas? Please, tell me if you know how to fulfill this installation. Many thanks!

Do you mean all my software on CD is for Windows only, because I guess that ver. 5 is for Windows and ver. 4 is for Mac as default. As I understand Rosetta is the translator from PC applications into Mac. And I can make a conclusion that my disc is not for Mac at all. Am I right? Will I succeed to instal PSE on Mac without additional paid software? PS: yes, I run ver. 10.6.x. Thank you.

Reinstallation of Photoshop Elements 11

I bought a new iMac recently and transferred files from my old ailing computer via wireless. My copy of Photoshop Elements 11 shows up in the Applications folder but when I try to use it I get a message that says a file is missing from some library. It tells me to reinstall the program. I originally downloaded the program last October and don't know the serial number for it. Is it possible to install the program again without having to pay for a brand new one? If the answer is yes please let me know how to do it. I am a relative novice on matters such as this.

Reinstallation of Photoshop Elements 12

I had to reinstall PSE 12 but only the editor appears. Photoshop Elements Organizer is missing. There exits no file and no related path. I use Windows 7. I have deleted all registry entries but even after several time of installing and uninstalling I can not see any improvement. Do I have to wait for Version 13?

Is Elements Organizer folder not present inside program files? Are you encountering any errors while installing PSE12? If so, please post a snapshot of the error.
If not, uninstall PSE once more and make sure that it is removed completely from the system (there are no residual folders inside program files). Reboot system , turn off your anti virus for sometime and then install PSE12 with right clicking setup as 'Run as admin'. Please let me know if your issue is not resolved.

After reinstallation of Photoshop Elements 12 program no longer works?

I had to get a new laptop. I do not remember deactivating / uninstalling Photoshop Elements 12 from my old laptop, but it is uninstalled (I know because my son is using my old laptop now). I installed Photoshop Elements 12 on this laptop and it worked fine upon installation. After turning off the computer and rebooting, the Adobe account manager asked be to update. It failed midway through and Photoshop will no longer open. Not from the shortcut. Not from the menu. Not from its executable file on the C: drive. I looked on my account and I cannot see how I would decactivate Photoshop Elements 12 if it happens to be activated for some reason on my old laptop.
So,
1. first, how do I "decativate" without being able to open a Photoshop Elements Program (to make sure that is not the problem)? And, if it is not the problem,
2. Do I need to uninstall and reinstall?

Reinstallation photoshp elements 6 after a computer demage.

I lost my installed program because of a Computer demage. Now the Computer is ok again and i would like to install the program photoshop elements 6 again. The Problem is that during the install procedure I get only a Information: The key-sentence is not ok. But there i haven´t a Chance to fill in codes or key numbers during the Installation. How can i install the Software again without buying a new one from Adobe.

On an Elements reinstallation, Install asks for "file archive." What/where is it.

I'm trying to reinstall Elements 10 after a new install of Windows 7 OS. During the installation, the Elements installation field says I'm missing the file archive and to download it. The Adobe reinstall page doesn't say anything about archives. I downloaded Files 1 & 2 from the Adobe site but can't the install to complete. Ideas? Thanks.

download both (file 1 of 2 and 2 of 2) the exe and 7z files. put both in the same directory and click the exe.
