PBR and traffic treatment

I would like to know if it possible to apply treatment to a traffic flux before forward it in LSP in using PBR.
Treatment would be trafic measure, policing, shapping and tagging.
Could you show me an example of configuration where I could see this.
Thanks

Beginning in Cisco IOS Release 12.0, PBR is supported in the Cisco Express Forwarding (CEF) switching path. CEF-switched PBR has better performance than fast-switched PBR and, therefore, is the optimal way to perform PBR on a router.
No special configuration is required to enable CEF-switched PBR. It is on by default as soon as you enable CEF and PBR on the router

  • Using InDesign CS6 onWindows PC.  Apple icon and traffic lights in L top corner are missing.

Using InDesign CS6 onWindows PC.  Apple icon and traffic lights in L top corner are missing and so are some of the editing features.  I fixed this once before by accident but can't remember how I did it.  All I remember is it had something to do with the veiw % in other applications - I think!

I've been using a tutorial that is obviously been done on a Mac.
I used to have a link somewhere that was basically a list of all of the differences between the two platforms, but I can't lay hands on it. I'm sure if you asked us about the features that were missing or broken, we could answer fairly easily - you know, like "Preferences are under the InDesign menu on a Mac, but in Windows they're under Edit."
The worst of these differences is in keyboard shortcuts - Macs have an extra modifier key, so whenever I switch platforms I always spend twenty minutes flopping my hands around and muttering uncomplimentary things about Cupertino and Redmond, at least until muscle memory takes over.

  • SCNARIO AND FI TREATMENT

I have scenario here that, if we request some material for our 4 offices which are attached to one plant how i can differentiate the qty and how we can come to know that where this material has received and it value too and FI treatment and when invoice recieved what will be the treatment.
As per my understanding while purchasing we have to give plant for which plant we are going to purchase and when we do GR then we are going to give the location mean office location where we are going to received the material hence in the same way we can see its value and qty but value will be valuated at plant level, if anything else pls inform to me and if u can elaborate about FI in this scenario I will appreciate it.
    Regards

    Hi,
As per your question and answer both, the solution sounds good and this will provide you details of quantity received in each office (Storage Location) but Stock will get valuated at Plant level not Storage Location level. (This solution is good and simple to track if client doesn't want to track the stock value at each office i.e. Storage Location and to get GR Value not Stock Value you can refer Report MB51 as per Storage Locations)
But if you are interested to get stock value also at office level then you have to use concept of Split Valuation
I will explain this with an example, For e.g. valuation criteria is ORIGIN
Go to OMWC - Configure Split Valuation
Here Create Valuation Category as for e.g. "ORIGIN" and Valuation Types as "DOMESTIC" and "IMPORTED"
Here in Valuation types, you can assign the Account Category Reference
And in OMSK - You can define 2 Valuation classes and assign these to 2 Account Category References
Now in OBYC - Maintain Account Determination for Account Key BSX as per the valuation class
Refer following link for detailed configuration of Split Valuation
    [Split Valuation Process|http://www.sap123.com/showthread.php?t=29]
    [Split Valuation Help|http://help.sap.com/saphelp_erp60_sp/helpdata/en/8f/d1de34e4cb2300e10000009b38f83b/frameset.htm]
    Process Flow: -
    1. Create Material Master for Asset in MM01, maintain valuation category ORIGIN in "Accounting 1" view and extend the material master for all the above 2 valuation types and input the value.
Here in your case Valuation Types will be "DOMESTIC" and "IMPORTED" and also assign the respective valuation classes.
When you want to Purchase materials then,
    1. ME21N - Create for Material with valuation type "DOMESTIC" or "IMPORTED" as per requirement, maintain it in "Delivery" Tab
    2. MIGO - GR w.r.t. PO (GR of material will be done in valuation type as per maintained in PO "DOMESTIC" and "IMPORTED"
    3. MMBE - Stock Overview (Here you can see the stock as per valuation type "DOMESTIC" and "IMPORTED"

  • Packet filtering and traffic shaping during peak h...

I play the online game World of Tanks and an currently exteriancing severe lagg and disconnects, the problem does not appear to be with the game/service provider but with BT, i need to know does BT  use "packet filtering" and "traffic shaping" during peak hours and if so why has it suddenly started.
This game use's P2P to keep the latency down for players so have been advised to contact BT and ask them are they limiting these types of connections.
Most games do not use these types of connections, but World of Tanks one does and again, been told BT just don't like them, due to the amount of connections they attempt to forge in order to have a stable latency.
I need to know if this is going to continue as pay to play the game, therefore would have to consider changing my ISP to virgin who dont  use "packet filtering" and "traffic shaping" during peak hours .
    Quick advice would be appreciated.

It's absolutely horrible. i turned off wifi all other devices and every other open program just to reduce my latency for 120ms to 80ms.
Still suffer from huge packet loss.
It would be absolutely horrible if they have started throttling worldoftanks.eu servers. Phone support is no help all they torld me to do is restart my router
I hope this is fixed soon. There are many posts on the WoT eu official forums and everyone that is effected appears to be a BT customer.
Some have mentioned it could be the damaged undersea cable.
I don't have any problems with torrents being throttled or anything like that. only worldoftanks.eu being throttled.

I have tested this issue on another 5548UP with L3 running the same NX-OS version and get the same problem. • Why wont Siri read out my messages and only gives business and traffic ?

If it wasn't bad enough that SIRI can only give you traffic and business locations in the US "I can only look for businesses, maps, and traffic in the United States, and when your're using U.S. English. Sorry about that." but it wont even read out my text messages. All it says is "Message from xxx" then goes silent then asks if I would like to respond. When I look at the message its full words as we dont like to use slang or TLA's
Anyone got any ideas and when will it work fully in the UK?

I'd call it a feature. I don't want Siri reading my messages when I'm in a meeting, and some of the messages could be embarrassing. The iPhone gives you a choice; turn on text message previews if you want Siri to read your messages aloud without unlocking the phone, or turn off if you don't. Compelete control.

  • Exchange, Push Mail and traffic questions

    Hey there,
I've been using Gmail set up as ManagedExchange on my iPhone for a while now, mainly to achieve push mail (the
iCloud push mail was cancelled in Germany for some time due to a patent argument with Motorola, which made me look out for alternatives).
Since iOS7, users can see how much traffic system services  use (Settings->Celluar->System Services). There's an
entry for "Exchange Accounts" and it shows quite some traffic in my case. The entry for push is quite low (as you
would expect, since it's only a matter of bytes for each message).
Here's where I started wondering: Say you use ManagedExchange for email to get Gmail to push (stock mail app). Where will the traffic that is caused by that account be listed? Under "Mail.app" or under "Exchange Accounts" in
the "System Services" pane? Or will the "Mail.app" entry include most of the traffic that "Exchange Accounts" shows
(which is not the case for me)?
The next thing I'm asking myself is how the push notifications for Exchange accounts work. Are they still
centralized via the apple push servers or does the Mail.app contact the Exchange server directly? If so, I think
this could cause more battery consumption and traffic than a standard push mail service (via Apple).
If this is the case, I think I'll switch back to iCloud (push is working again in Germany) and ditch the whole Exchange thing.
Any input on this subject is greatly appreciated.
    Thanks!

    I did the following:
    1. Access OWA (https://your_domain/owa (could be something else but this is default)) via FireFox 3 (must be FireFox 3 to export the cert)
    2. Click on the 'fav' icon next to the URL. This will popup a window with information about the site you are visiting.
    3. Click on 'More information...'
    4. Go to the 'Security' tab.
    5. Click on 'View Certificate'
    6. Go to the 'Details' tab.
    7. Click on your exchange server's certificate.
    8. Click 'Export...'
    9. Save to desktop (or wherever) with .PEM extension
    10. Email that certificate to an account that you can access on your iPhone.
Follow the rest of the info in this thread. You should be all set. Push has been working well for me ever since I found this thread. The only issue is my battery life has significantly diminished. So much so, that I may turn off push after all. Hope you don't have the same issues. Good luck!

Does anyone know if you can add on speed camera and traffic information onto the navigation software pre-loaded for use on the N95 8GB ??

I asked the same question a week or so ago here with no reply
I emailed nokia for an answer and had the following reply
"Thank you for emailing Nokia Care.
In response to your enquiry, Nokia N95 8GB does not support the speed camera software.
    Kind regards,

shame as its the only thing holding me back from making the full purchase

  • Routing based on destination IP and traffic type

Is it possible to route traffic based on the destination IP and the type of traffic?
    ASA5512
    Software 9.2.1
We have an ASA 5512 that is used as a VPN termination point. Our employees connect from one of our customer sites to this VPN point. The customer also hosts services on the same IP address that our employees use to access our VPN on.
What I want to do is to use a different route for certain traffic to take to get to these other services provide by our customer, for instance they offer an FTP site and I want to use a different route to get our internal users to this FTP site. Is this possible to achieve?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
    Murray

Technically speaking the ASA doesn't do policy based routing.  However, you might be able to simulate something similar to PBR by using a combination of static routes and NAT.
If you describe your Network setup, ASA, and how the alternate route is connected to your customer, we might be able to help you better.

  • SLA and traffic light in CRM_DNO_MONITOR

    Dear Service Desk gurus.
1)In CRM_DNO_MONITOR where are traffic light and corresponding column "Valid to". How does the traffic color and "Valid to" date are calculated?
Is it customizable and connect to message Priority?
    2) When SLA is configured for support desk, Are there any reports  or light/alerts for message, that were not processed according to SLA rules?
    Regards
    Vladimir

    Hi,
Field in the transaction monitor for traffic light function at transaction level. Calculation is based on the corresponding time stamp. The traffic light function is determined via the date type SRV_CUST_END for the transaction header.
    Thx,
    Waseem.

  • SAP Service Ticket: Use of due date and traffic light

Presently our company is not doing much with the traffic light and due date when managing our tickets from the inbox.  If there is someone making use of these, I would like to know what are some your your Best Practices. Ideally we would like to use these to improve our "issue to resolution times".
We are using CRM5 and we will be updating to CRM7 in May of 2010.
Any eperiences that you would like to share are greatly appreciated.
    Regards,
    rr

    Hi,
We have used this functionality for IC-Agent Inbox. Our Inbound agents can search for  the service tickets in there Agent  inbox. The tickets  are displayed with Due date for the resolution as per the SLA based on the subject and code group. This helps them in understanding of the ticket resoultion time .
also the Different Symbols are used for the tickets
1.Tikects which are still within SLA but are not resolved are classified by Yellow Colour
2.Tickets which have violated the SLA are cassifed with red colour
3.Tickets which are completed within SLA are classified by Green Colur Symbol.
Pls. revert if you have any queries.

  • Wifi is connected and has good link and traffic is shown but no IP connectivity possible

    I'm getting crazy about that:
iMac 27" Mid 2011, Airport Extrem/Atheros 9380 Core WLAN 4.0 (400.45.1) is connected with approx. 80% link quality (SNR: 45dB, Noise: 1%) to an 802.11n AP with 5GHz an 80MHz with at least 4 other Clients.
The link acts with 270-300 Mbit/s and is pretty good, but sometimes (without any change on network settings or configurations) the IP-connectivity get's lost.
Airport is further connected, traffic counters rise (both RX and TX), while other iMacs (some with similar hardware) are accessing without problems.
    How does ist look like:
IP-Address (DHCP is enabled on en1) is bound to the interface and I can ping the local IP-address but NO other IP in LAN (for example the standard gateway).
no ARP requests or broadcasts are shown (except from the local machine)
What did I do for troubleshooting:
created new network location and added new wifi connection
