PC app pops up mysterious message

For the past few days I keep getting a pop-up window on my PC stating "Software download complete." It provides two buttons: "Install Now" and "Install Later." I had no idea what this was about and was hesitant to click on the Install Now button. I was afraid it might be malware. No way could I find out what software it wanted to install. So I kept clicking on the Install Later button. Of course the pop-up kept returning. I asked my co-workers if anyone had seen this before and luckily one of my co-workers informed me that this was an update for the Verizon Samsung app. I'd really like to let Verizon know that this app needs to be modified to clearly state what software it wants to install. In this day and age of viruses and malware it is very poor practice to install unknown software and whoever wrote this program should have realized that people would be hesitant to click on the Install Now button with no idea of what is going to be installed. C'mon Verizon, you and Samsung can do better than this. Ok, I'll get off my soap box now.

On you iPhone, force close all the Apps in the multitask window.
Follow these steps to force an app to close:
From the Home screen, click the Home button twice.
Tap and hold on the app.
When it starts to jiggle, tap the to close it one by one until all cleared
Now do a Soft reset of your iPhone:
Hold both Home and Sleep button for around 10secs until you see the Apple logo then release. After it returns to Home screen, connect to sync and see if this resolves the issue.

Have disabled in Messages > preferences on the Mac
imessage is disabled on my iphone
Same goes for Safari which pops up on the mac when I open it on my iphone, how can I disable it all?

I have a Brazilian and a Duch Simcard, buying an app I get the message: you can't buy this app in this store, change store! Ok but how?

Once with a Brazilan app there was the message: you can't buy this app in this Istore, gange store and after that there was a pop-up with change store. Now everything in the store is in Portugues and not anylonger in Dutch. But if I want to download a Dutch app it says: you can't buy this app in this Istore chage store, but then there is no way to change store. How can I cange store and where do I have to change it?

Try going to the bottom of the Featured tab in the App Store app on your phone and tap on your account id, tap on 'View Apple ID' on the popup and log into your account, and then select the Country/Region section and select the Netherlands.

We have build Oracle ADF application in which we are halted with pop-up error message "A connection to the server has failed" whenever we entered apostrophe (') in input text field all other special character are acceptable except ('). Please advise how we can get rid of this error.

Not really my area but generally if you have an 'unusual' username required (like one that starts with a number etc) it's generally rejected by oracle. However if you surround it with double quotes it will work OK. Can you somehow incorporate this into how the adf app is connecting (wrap the username in double quotes)?
Another approach would be to just have some form validation which rejecting any ' characters before it tried to even do a login and gave a nice friendly message saying 'dont use apostrophes'?

Had the problem also. Found in the forums and it worked for me:
go to settings
go to app store or "store" on my ipad
click on the apple id
sign out
sign in, again with id and password
then do update.

If it is longer available then you can't get the app on your phone.

Remember, any purchased item from the itunes store is forever associated with the Apple ID used to buy it. So when you get prompted for an ID/password and it doesn't accept it, then you are using the wrong ID.
Go to Settings>iTunes and App Stores, be sure it's logged into the ID you have set on the iphone (since that one seems to be connecting with the right ID). If you've done this, then you might wait a bit to see if the "cannot connect to .. store" message has to do with internet connections.

With a standard account you need a valid payment method even for free apps.
From the message it sound like there is something wrong with your account or some of the information you entered in the account is not correct.. Verify that the information is correct and then if still problem contact iTunes.

Open the App Store app, go to the Featured pane, swipe to the bottom, tap your Apple ID and sign out. Tap again and sign back in. The App Store will automatically change to the store from which your account is authorized to make purchases.
