PC Apps on the Mac?
Hi,
I have a small number of programs/Apps on my PC which I cannot buy for Mac,
however, It has come to my attention that you can partition your Mac and use your PC Apps on the Mac? Additionally, I am told that the re sited Apps go very slowly. Has anyone got a view of this?

You can install Windows using Boot Camp Assistant or using a Virtual Machine like Parallels, Fusion, or VirtualBox. You then install your programs in Windows.
If using Boot Camp your Windows programs will run as well as they do on any Windows PC with similar specifications as your Apple computer.
If running in a virtual machine, high resource use programs like some games will run slower. Word processing and similar programs will run well in a virtual machine.

Why? Well, I am very busy and wish to install at my leisure even though I have purchased the App (required at a specific day in the month in order to appear on my business accounts).
Thanks.There is a difference in what Kappy stated and what you stated. A major paid upgrade (v2.x to v3.0), yes, costs money, as it would in any other delivery stream. Updates (v3.0 to v3.1) to a a major version are free.
Most apps sold through the Mac App Store (MAS) are the type that use the simple drag & drop installation. Those are downloaded directly to the designated apps folder and installation is done. Large pro-type apps download an installer to your Apps folder. Those you can install at your leisure. The MAS does not have a lot of apps using this type of installation.
Be sure to always backup your MAS purchases, because there is no guarantee that the app will always be available for download in the future and it is your responsibility to archive copies. -
How can I delete a app from the Mac App Store completely?
I have a apllication which had a error. I delete it and download the app from the Mac App Store again, but the error wasn't delete. My iMac had stored it and the Error wasn't deleted so I can't youse the app.

Please answer.If your App was faulty in some way you should write to iTunes support. If you simply want to delete it, most Apps carry uninstall (not delete) instructions.
Incidentally, I believe you cannot delete the record of your purchase from iTunes. That will always stay on your purchases list and be marked with a dark grey square as INSTALL.. -
Can't buy an App from the mac app store with iTunes gift card.

I have iTunes credit over 10 $ but still i can't buy an App from the mac App store although it show that i have credit and im sure i do, i tried exiting the Mac App Store and try again but still when i click on buy it opens a new window with billing info after i type my Account details, i don't use credit card and have always redeemed iTunes Gift Cards , but now it doesn't let me buy it!
Any help on how to buy an App without the store taking me to billing info to add , would be appreciated

go to system preferences - security and privacy - under allow applications downloaded from - click on anywhere.

Change your Date & Time settings to reflect automatic. It will fix the problem.

Error 100 trying to download an App from the Mac App Store
Hi,
Every time I try to download an App from the Mac App Store I obtain a message that says that it has ocurred and error with the apple store (Error 100).
After that, i obtain a second message that says "Tour Apple ID has been deactivated".
I can not download any app to my new MacBook Air.

MartínI found that this error occurred when trying to purchase Aperture via the new App Store. I had previously downloaded the trial version via the old Apple store and having it and its installed folders on my hard disk prevented the App store from letting me purchase.
So, if you have a trial version, trash it, and trash the related folders in your user Library and also the Aperture project folder (wherever you saved it), typically in the Pictures folder.
Then try to purchase. Voila! -

I upgraded my MBP to Mountain Lion. Before the upgrade, on both Snow Leopard and Lion, I had been using the Server tools (Server Admin, Workgroup Manager, etc.) on my MBP to administer my Xserve that is running Snow Leopard Server.
After upgrading to ML, all of the Server admin tools on my MBP disappeared. I assume the ML installer removed them.
I found a 10.8 version of Workgroup Manager that runs great on my MBP here: http://support.apple.com/kb/DL1567
I cannot find an equivalent version of the Server Admin (or "Server" as referenced here: http://support.apple.com/kb/HT1822)
