  • PC-CAM 935 Slim - blurry photos

    Hello:
After finally digging up the old drivers for the PC-CAM 935 slim, I read through the
manual, and started taking photos. The photos all appear to come out blurry after being
transferred to my PC (Athlon 64 3700+, 1GB RAM, Win XP Pro SP2).
I've set the resolution to different values, tried different lighting, all to no avail.
    Thanks in advance

Well, I discovered a problem which I believe is inherent in this model camera.
The camera takes extremely blurry and underexposed shots when you use the macro mode.
No matter what. The macro mode appears to mess up ANY shot.
After switching to landscape mode, I'm getting much better results. Exposure is about
right for a camera this quality, and focus is much better, though still lacking, to be honest.
Anyone have any other ideas on further improving focus?
    Thanks

  • Lenovo Slim Power Adaptor and Targus/iGo Power Tips

I noticed that the Targus and iGo power tips are the same.  From pictures, I can not say the same is true with the Lenovo power tips.  Would Targus/iGo power tips work on the Lenovo Slim Power Adaptor?  There's a power tip that I need for my Jabra BT135 (micro-USB I think) which isn't supported by Lenovo.  Also, the Targus/iGo tip for my Motorola Q (mini-USB) can be found for less than the Lenovo.

What you'll probably find is that the malfunctioning battery is causing your issue. I would simply contact AppleCare, else a reseller, and arrange for a replacement ASAP.
One thing you can do in the meantime is to find a reseller that will allow to use one of their batteries (if you can't otherwise get it booted) to start your MBP and then put it to sleep. Once booted it should be ok to run off the power adapter alone.

  • Using PC-CAM 930 Slim as a web

I have had my PC-CAM 930 Slim for a while now, but have only just thought of using it as a webcam. Only problem is I don't have the User Guide that the box claims was meant to be included, just the Quick Start Guide, and that states that if i wish to use the camera as a webcam, then I should refer to the User Guide.
Just wondering if anyone knows where I could download the Guide or if anyone knows how to actually set it up as a webcam?

Alright that's enough, tone it down. The responses you'd get here are from other users, perhaps not many people are around at the moment that have the same cam.
If you have the installation CD, check that, it should contain (PDF) manuals for the cam. You can also check under Support -> Product Documentation for the manuals we have available for download.

  • My hp V5060h video cam did not power on even the battery if fullcharge.......what is the problem?

my hp V5060h video cam did not power on even the battery if fullcharge.......what is the problem?

Didn't you already post something similar:
Yesterday, I went and bought a refurbished 3rd-generation iPod touch, with a warranty for needed repairs in the future. When I went home after buying it, I plugged it into my computer to start charging. I plugged it in, and the battery in the iPod exploded, and now it won't power on period, even when it is plugged in or docked. I bought a warranty to go with the iPod because I figured that I was probably going to drop it, and then need it repaired. But Apple cannot even find the purchase record on file from where I bought the AppleCare warranty on it, so now I am stuck with what is now basically a paperweight. What should I do?
    iPod touch, iOS 4
And would this be the same iPod with the fried battery?

  • How do i get photos i have taken from my Creative PC Cam 930 Slim?

I have a Creative PC-CAM 930 Slim and I have taken some pictures with it when i went on holiday (using it like a digital camera). I have like 28 images that I took on the camera (not on the memory card). I despereatly need those photographs, but I can't seem to access the pictures on my computer.
I want to get the pictures from the camera and onto my PC.
When i connect the camera into the computer, than try and explore what's on the camera. It only sets its self up as a webcamera and doesn't show any pictures on it. When I view the camera without being plugged in and without the memory card I can see my 28 pictures.
I have all the software from the setup disc installed onto the computer and the relevant drivers. I have even called my local creative support centre. And they said the camera never came out where I li'ved and the only places it did come out in was the USA and Asia, so they have no idea of what it looks like and how it works.
Does anyone here know how i can access those pictures on my computer and transfer and save the pictures onto my computer?

Isn't this already being cover in the user manual? You need to change the camera mode to PC Mass storage mode before connecting the camera to the computer for photo transfer.

  • Power Up probs with kt6 delta fis2r

I've recently changed my mother board and given my kt6 delta fis2r to my dad. It came out of my comp in fine working condition (earthed when removing etc.) It's now in my dad's case and when it's switched on it immidiatly switches off again. The bios was updated to 5.5 but was working for weeks before being moved. Anyone have any ideas?
    Thanks in advanced.

Just spoken to him, he's had the board out on the box connected it accross and it does the same, it's not actually getting far enough to give anything on the d-bracket. I've got a spare power supply here that isn't a Q-Tec and we're gonna try it on that first. My bro has also had probs this weekend so I'm told, he had a KT6V with the same power supply, and is now running my dads kt4 ultra. My bros PSU isn't liking my dad's comp either, so I'm now wondering if it's something to do with the 4 pin power plug on both PSU's? Still confused tho as I havn't had any probs with the board while it was on my Q-tec PSU, just lucky I guess?
Thanks for all of the replies, I'll be changing my PSU asap.

  • My Camera Volume and power button is not working

I have a 4th gen ipod touch that I bought used from a guy. The screen had a defect in is so I took it to a guy that changed the screens. I had him change the screen and after he could not get the power button to work. He changed something and it still did not work. He made it right and gave me another one plus this one. When I got it home I found out that the volume button would only go down not up and that the camera isn't working. Any ideas on what is wrong and how to fix it? It is a 32gb so i don't want it to just be thrown out. It does have power and works otherwise. Also I tried to register the serial number and it is connceted to another apple account so wondering how to fix that if I can. Thanks so much!

Take it back to where yo got it "fixed" or to another third-party place. Apple will not help.
    Try fixing it yourself

  • Camera USB adapter Power Message

First it must be said I'm a huge Apple supporter. Drink the CoolAid no, I've been mixing it in the back and passing it out for years. My first macs were a IIe and a IIc, and many many others sense. I also know that I should be used to this sort of thing by now. Normally I would let others make comments etc about this and just sit by and watch the outcome from the side lines. For some reason not this time….
I must admit I'm feeling a bit screwed by Apple. I bought my 3G iPad the day it was available and spent a couple of months tracking down a camera adapter kit for it. One of the biggest reasons I made the purchase was to be able to Quickly view my shots in a larger size. It worked beautifully!
I have a SanDisk ImageMate 12 in 1 card reader which is a compact multi card format usb device. Before I upgraded to iOS 4 it worked marvelously. I could take shots with what ever device, with which ever card format, plug the card into the 12 in 1, and keep shooting while it was downloading images to the iPad. Now, I plug the 12 in 1 in and get a message that there isn't enough power to run the device. Yea?!, I might have bought that if it didn't work before the iSO 4 upgrade. But when it works flawlessly for months and then quits working because Apple decides they know better than I do which devices should be used with my iPad #%!*@!!!
Is it a battery life thing? Is it that my iPad may run for an hour less on a charge? Shouldn't that be my decision? How about a message "WARNING use of this device will reduce your run time" and give me the option to either continue using it or not. Don't tell me that it wont work, because that is now obviously a blatant lie. It's dishonest and a lousy way to treat a customer. For a company that want's us to believe that they are so concerned about our user experience it's a terrible way to show it.
Has anyone found a hack to get around this message? Or are those of us caught in this situation left with nothing else to do but wait and hope that the decision makers change their mind(s) and give us back the freedom we had before the NEW iOS?

I can understand the angst, but can also understand that Apple never claimed to be providing the equivalent to a USB 1.0 or 2.0 port, never guaranteed that anything other than the stated equipment could be used with the dock connection, etc.
My own belief is that two things were in play:
    1. They were somewhat surprised by the heavy and immediate use that some people made of that dock connection, connecting ip a wide variety of things, and
    2. They realized that unlike in 3.2, where the extra power drain didn't really make that big a difference, in 4.2.1 it now would be more of a factor
What's the best that can be hoped for here? Well, I suppose best of all would be if, after second and third looks, they decided that the difference isn't really that great and they can just return to the status quo ante. That doesn't seem that likely, but it's possible and would be popular.
A user-option selection in Settings could be added, probably along with the proviso that would warn about "... +enabling higher output power will result in a xxx% reduction in (performance and battery life)+ ...". I can't see much of a direct argument against doing that. One indirect argument against would be all of the resultant whining about "Well, if I can have my choice about this, why not also about this and that and that other thing too ...". If you go too far down that path you wind up having to hire some folks out of Redmond WA to come down and design your Settings Menu.
Decide what you want and need, describe and support it as best you can, and send it along via the iPad Feedback form. They won't chat with you, but they are responsive if enough people make a good enough case.

  • Smart camera 1764 Status & power led blinking

I am using NI smart camera 1764. when i am giving 24 V DC supply to the camera then Power & Status LED is blinking at high rate in RED colour. on the other hand pass & fail LED also blinking in RED & GREEN colour alternatively. i am not able to connect camera to my computer through ETHERNET cable & cannot use for my application.
Please suggest me the solution as soon as possible.

    Hello,
Have a look at this document on page 52 http://www.ni.com/pdf/manuals/372429b.pdf.
It seems to be an application error.
Try to boot your camera in safe mode with no app, using the switces.
If you can connect, then try to reinstal using VBAI.

  • Lens won't extend, Camera won't power up

    Canon PowerShot WX160IS
Camera was dropped and the lens won't extend when I turn it on.   I've cleaned around the lens, pressed the power and shutter at the same time, and tapped with the power button pressed.  Any further suggestions?
    Thank you!
    Andrea

Sorry to have to tell you it sounds like a service job... the lens system is a complexed affair with several moving parts powered by a motor,  whether it would be viable to have repaired no one can say until the problem has been diagnosed, it could quite easily be something next to nothing.
One thing to do, is to lay it flat on it's back and see if the lens assembly is more or less central,  you only need a small displacement for the whole unit to jam. Should it be off-center you could try very gently teasing it to a central position whilst powering it up - it may work, it may not.
Grits of sand between the lens assembly has been known to make many a camera stick - not necessarily your model,  for illustration that is the kind of tolerance we're talking about.
