PC-Card GPIB Interface for a Desktop PC using USB card reader?

I have a IOTech's PCMCIA GPIB interface card. It works well on the notebook with LabVIEW. I want to use it on the Desktop PC using USB card reader or other connectors with LabVIEW.

Somebody wrote in about this issue. From his comments, it sounds like it may work.

Skype for Windows Desktop should use Windows Desktop Scaling. Right now, on Windows 8.1 with high DPI displays, Skype scales very badly. It is either very blurry with scaling turned on or is too small to see when scaling turned off. This negatively affects not just SMS and IM but also webcams. Since Skype is a Microsoft product it should follow the Microsoft guidelines for desktop scaling, even if it is not a Windows 8.1 specific application. There are a multitude of other applications, like Firefox and Internet Explorer, that work perfectly with desktop scaling. Skype should do this, too.

I see this thread is over a year old and still no fix for this issue. Just 'upgraded' from old Vista laptop to new hi res Asus N551 with Windows 8.1 and Skype Desktop looks crap! Blurry fonts and pictures, webcam image terrible. In short a disgrace. I hate the kiddies version on Windows 'Metro' style app by the way. So, looked up support and only solution suggested was to retore my custom desktop scaling option back to 100%. Obviously I am not doing that otherwise I would be unable to read the resultant microscopic text in Windows 8.1. So if anyone does have another, workable, solution I be pleased to hear it.After over a year though the Skype team really should make scaling for Skpe Deskto a No. 1 priority.

User Interface for bulk loading images using interMedia

I would like to create an interface where users could bulk load images to a database. Has anyone created a web (or other) interface that would perhaps call a PL/SQL procedure or SQLloader?
Is there a way for users to upload images from there own computers in bulk? Would they need to utilize SQLPLUS?
While I have seen the examples and plan to create a web interface for uploading images one at a time, I have been requested to find a way for the users to upload images in bulk themselves (instead of them requesting us technical people to do it).

TS2446 Can I use an Itunes redeem card to pay for Icloud,want to delete credit card

I have $51.31 sitting waiting to be redeemed on my Itunes toolbar, but apple
has locked me out until I renew my credit card info.
My husband and I recently decided to acquire a new Credit Card and keep it off the internet
for security reasons.
My question is, why can't I pay for Icloud with an Itunes redeem card?
and why can they lock me out of my Itunes site when I have $51.31 left from redeem cards owed to
me on the site. I can't reenter the code as they want, as I no longer have the card- code
because I threw it away over a week ago not anticipating
this problem. Would be grateful if anyone has any info.

For apps, sorry but no. Canadian users cannot, for reasons not well explained, cannot purchase software from the iTunes Store via prepaid cards. You'll need to enter in a credit card, at least temporarily, to pay off the balance.

Copying files to SD card using USB card reader

Everytime I try to copy mp3 files to an SD card using a USB card reader my notebook hangs after just a few MB have been transferred. what should i do?

I myself have seen this happen right in front of me with a customer. Sometimes you have to me a little more selective with your card readers because not all of them work right out of the box.
I have found the Zio corporation readers to work splended with Mac OS X you can find them at Compusa I haven't really seen them any other place. But IMHO the issue is with your reader and not your memory.
As for the part number on the reader from compusa it is as follows that is if you are willing to give it a try....

I'm looking for a USB 2 interface or USB 2 PCIX card for my PPC G5 2.3.
It doesn't have to run hard drives, but should be able to power things like a scanner.

Valid size not available for this creation when using Greeting Card feature

Using PSE9 with a Mac. When attempting to create a greeting card, after selecting the photo, the Greeting Card, I receive a pop up error message as follows:
"Valid Size Not Available For This Creation". (All other Create functions such as Photo Book, Photo Calendar, and Photo Collage appear to be working). I have been in contact with Adobe Support and have been instructed to do a number of things from creating a new preferences file to uninstalling and re-installing the PSE software, with no result. Has anyone else run into this problem, and if so have found a fix? Thanks.

I've been tearing my hair out over this one also. I've been on hold for over 10 hrs with Adobe Support waited over almost 2 weeks and still no resolution. I'm trying to create the Save the Date cards for my wedding and I can't wait for Adobe. Removing the preferences file and uninstalling/reinstalling does not fix the problem.
That said I did figure out a workaround for this. It's easy but it does require Windows. For me this was no big deal as I do own a Windows box.
Get the free trial version of PE9 for Windows and install it. If you don't have a Windows computer get to a friend that has one
Upload some of your photos to the PE9 Windows Organizer (it's identical to the mac version)
Select Create and then Greeting card. Photoshop will launch the guided edit feature for greeting cards.
Select the Layout feature and once you find out that you like save it as Photoshop project. Repeat this step for as many layouts as necessary.
Copy your Photoshop project files (and any folders) to your mac.
Open the project files as you would with any other Photoshop file.
You can now select the Create feature. You will be able add your pictures and resize them, you will be able to add/remove text, you'll be able to change the backgound/borders, add graphics...pretty much anything...EXCEPT automatically modify the layout. If you click on Layout, PE9 returns nothing. You can however go into full edit mode and if you have decent Photoshop skills you can make any changes to the layout manually.
If I had to put money on this I'd say that there is a problem with the PE9 Mac installation package. For some reason it is not deploying the layout data/files or it is not putting them in the right place. For this reason the program can't find the layouts when the user selects the greeting card guided edit.

i made an update on my iphone. had to change my apple-id and also the account for buying music on i-tunes and apps on app-store. i could enter the numbers on my visacard. does that have to do anything with me changing the account? is it not possible to use the same card as i was using on my last account?

I'm sorry you weren't able to make a purchase using your store credit. To purchase items on the iTunes Store with your store credit, your account information in your user profile needs to be corrected. I'll walk you through this process to get you back up and running in no time.
1) Visit the My Apple ID website at: http://appleid.apple.com
2) If the site is not displayed in your preferred language, click the Change Language link in the upper-right corner, type the name of your language in the field that appears, then click the Save button.
3) Click the "Manage your account" link.
4) Type your iTunes Store account name (which is your Apple ID) in the Apple ID field, type your password in the password field, then click the Sign In button.
5) Click "Addresses" in the column on the left. If you have multiple shipping addresses, remove any out-of-date or duplicate addresses by clicking Delete. Also, make sure the state or province field is filled out correctly for each address. To edit an address, click Edit. Edit all of your shipping addresses and make sure the appropriate state is selected in the State drop-down menus.
6) Now click "Phone Numbers" on the left. The area codes should be in the area code fields and the phone numbers should be in the phone number fields. If an area code is missing, or if it is in a phone number field, your account information may not save properly.

Once credit card is billed for purchase, can I use an iTunes gift card to pay for it instead?

I have made a purchase wanting to use solely iTunes gift cards. However I did not account for the local taxes, and it exceeded the amount of gift card credits I had. Now my credit card has been charged, though I do not want to use it for various reasons.
Can I pay the balance using another gift card instead?

If your account's balance didn't cover the total purchase price then the extra amount over your balance will have been charged to your credit card - it's too late after purchasing the item to change how you paid for it. You can try contacting iTunes Support, but they are probably unlikely to change how you paid for it : http://www.apple.com/support/itunes/contact/
If you don't want your credit card to potentially be charged for purchases then you could remove it from your account :

And i guess SAP has provided example mappings only for 810,830 and 850.
I am unable to see the example mappings provided by sap for 820/824 in B2B mapping toolkit.
