Pc crash IdeaCentre A700

Question

My pc crashes every time i connect in the internet with any web browser (google chrome, mozilla, internet explorer) but when i play pc games it doesnt crash even with the games that require high specs. like batman arkham city, Far Cry 3 etc.

ah additional info. every time I open my PC 3 out of 10 it wont boot because of an error ( ERROR 0246: Cmos Battery Failure) is this another problem in my pc? or the same with what causes my pc to crash?
