Hey there,
There are several ways of doing this. The link below gives you step-by-step instructions for doing it the direct way, as well as a few third party applications instead depending on your preference. Make sure that once you do have the music back onto iTunes that you back it up somewhere to avoid this type of problem again if possible. Hope this helps

how can i sync music from my phone onto my new computer without losing it all? my old computer's hard drive crashed so it is unusable.
If you do not have a back up of the crashed hard drive you can download an app to copy from the iPhone to iTunes on the new hard drive.
I have used Pod2Mac. There is also Pod2PC.
There are numerous choices, some free, some payed. Do a Google search. -

HT1209 how to transfer music from old iPod nano to new iPod touch
how to transfer music from old iPod nano to new iPod touch ?
The 1st and 2nd gen iPod shuffle can only be used with one iTunes library (not "account") at a time. Your Apple ID and password does not matter. (Later shuffles can be used with more than one iTunes library, IF it is set to use the Manually manage music option.)
So, if you sync it with a different iTunes library, the previous content will be replaced. You need to offload the existing content to your new computer's drive as the first step.
You cannot transfer song files from iPod to computer using iTunes, except for songs purchased from the iTunes Store. However, there are third-party methods and utilities that can transfer from iPod to computer. If you do an Internet search on something like "ipod transfer," you should get some links. (The CNET article seems to be popular.)
Once the song files are on your computer's drive, you can add them to the iTunes library. After confirming all of your songs are there, sync your shuffle with that iTunes library. -
When I try to add music from my itunes onto my imovie project, it says "Open iTunes to populate this list." When I open it nothing happens. Please help.
It may help to trash the iApps Preferences File.
See instructions here.

Can someone please tell me how to transfer music from my ipod to my new ipod touch
Can someone please tell me how to transfer music from my ipod to my new ipod touch
No. You have to get the music in iTunes and then sync to the new iPod.
Transfer iTunes purchases from the old iPod by:
iTunes Store: Transferring purchases from your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to a computer
Transfer other music by using a third-party program like one of thse discussed here:

I cannot add music from my computer onto my itunes library.
I cannot add music from my computer onto my itunes library. I have tried dragging the songs, importing them, going to Add files and Add folders, copy and pasting. They just won't turn up in my itunes library.
You don't say where you are having problems. The best answer will depend upon what exactly you are trying to do. If you are trying to add one or two files, copy them to a flash drive, then drag them from the drive to an iTunes playlist. If you are trying to move your whole library that requires a different answer.
Note .wma files will work with iTunes on a PC but cannot be added to a Mac iTunes. Convert them to another format on the PC first (but I don't think you can do that if they are protected format). -

Can I download music from my PC onto my new iPhone and still have my iPhone sync with my Mac without a problem?
I've had an iPod over a year and have not done much with it except download music onto it from my PC. Just recently have purchased the iPhone. When I got my iPod I didn't have a Mac, but now I do. I am really into my iPhone, so now I want to make sure that I don't do anything wrong. So can I connect my iPhone to both my PC and my Mac without it getting mixed signals and stop working. I have no music on my Mac but plan to download music into iTunes on it. So can I download music from both computers without problems onto my iPhone?StoneMountainGirl,
No. You can only music to your iPhone from one computer at a time. If you try to load music onto it from a 2nd computer, it will erase the current content on the iPhone and replace it with whats in the iTunes library you are connected to,

How to add music from a second computer to my iPhone 5
I just got an iPhone 5. I can manually control music from my personal laptop and put it on my iPhone. However I can't add it from my brother's lap top. When ever I try to click "manually manage" on his computer, it tells me to erase everything from my iPhone and sync his library. I did autherize hi computer. How do I add music from his computer with still keeping all of my current music?
Thanks AmishCake.
While I'd prefer to not have to do this I suppose it's the only way with my current set up.
Lots of hostile attention on this forum from people who claim to not care about what I do. -
I recently purchased a Macbook Pro as my old Macbook broke. I want to transfer all the music from my iPhone onto the iTunes of my new Macbook Pro, however I cannot do this by moving the tracks onto an external hardrive from the old computer to the new as the old is broken. I've looked at lots of different forums etc. on the internet and I've still had no luck! Please help me !
Get a third-party utility such as Phone to Mac - Pod to Mac. See also, Downloading past purchases from the App Store, iBookstore, and iTunes Store and How to dowload purchased music.

Basically I just bought a new pc and I can't get my music that I've already payed for from my account onto this new computer. I've had this problem before but it was never resolved. I think I need to deauthorise my old computers but I don't understand how or why. Please help someone?

On itunes? OR externally? Because I did back them up on itunes and I think I do have an external backup, I just wanted to know whether it was possible for me to recover them from itunes as they still show up in my purchase history.
Only in the U.S.
This is one of the many reasons that always maintaining a backup is very important.
Use your backup copy to put everything back.
Your purchase history is only a list of your purchases. There are no files there.
