PC Died, and was restored. How do I restore backed up songs?

I'm leary of even connecting my shuffle because I know itunes will try to delete it. Please Help!

I have all my data backed up on a drive that is using Rebit. But I'm not going to do a full restore, the PC was five years old when I started backing things up and I have no desire to add back the registry gack I had on it after going through all this.

Imac hard drive died and was replaced by apple. Data lost but is remains on ipads. Computer address is different so can't sync without erasing ipad data (which I need back on repaired imac). How do I do this?

How do I transfer data from and Ipad/iphone to an imac with a different address then initally setup with? Our hard drive died and was replaced free of charge by Apple, our data was lost on the hard drive but exists on our small devices.

Since Apple replaced the hard drive does that mean you have AppleCare? If so, call them. If not, you must have paid pretty good to get it replaced and so I would think you have some possible right to ask a followup question at the store that did it.

Sorry, iPhones exposed to Salt Water, are pretty much destroyed. Salt Water is one of the most corrosive elements there is.

- iOS: Not responding or does not turn on
- Also try DFU mode after try recovery mode
How to put iPod touch / iPhone into DFU mode « Karthik's scribblings
- If not successful and you can't fully turn the iOS device fully off, let the battery fully drain. After charging for an least an hour try the above again.
- Try on another computer
- If still not successful that usually indicates a hardware problem and an appointment at the Genius Bar of an Apple store is in order.

You would reinstall 10.6 using your installation DVD.
Out of curiosity, how much RAM do you have? Recent versions of OS X really shine with 4GB or more.
