PC-Doctor fills its log with BatteryStatusAddOn errors

In "C:\ProgramData\PCDr\5717\logs\sharpui.log" I have many errors:

The error log for yesterday (sharpui.log.2011-03-03) has a size of 372000 bytes, mostly with thoses errors. The error number is not consistent : 10, 5, 6, 4, 12, 7, 14, 16.
My laptop is a ThinkPad T60 with originally Vista but upgraded to Windows 7.

this might be related to the installation folder of PC-Doctor.
Please reinstall this application and reboot the machine. It might be possible, that on your system was other application installed (probably MS KB Update, or antivir update) and this interfered with the source files of PC-Doctor.
Also please let mek know, how often you see this message in the Windows event log.
Please do this as first and let me know, if this changes anything.

Has anyone else noticed that flashupdater is filling their system.log with spew? This is happening on systems with and without flash installed. Sign, yet another blunder...

Open task sequence log with cmtrace on error

Is there a way to make an SCCM 2012 R2 task sequence automatically open the smsts.log (with cmtrace) when an error occurs?

I would agree with Torstren. The difficult piece would be determining where the smsts.log is, based on where its at in the task sequence. Once you have that it wouldn't be too difficult to place those steps in the
Gather Logs and StateStore on Failure group. The catch will be, even if CMTrace is open, the machine will still reboot after 15 minutes unless the cmd prompt is also open.

Issues with Edge loading slowly and Not filling its space until loaded

I am in the last stages of wrapping up a new website and have a nice Edge Animation slated for the top of the home page. The content, which includes a poster is published. However, when the page loads there is a lag before the animation fills its designated spot.
I tried using a preloader but then the entire content of the animation appeared behind the other content - making matters much worse.
In order to reserve a spot I tried creating another div with a background image as a placeholder, but because this content is responsive horizontally and vertically the placeholder locks the content into a predefined space and is not properly responsive.
I optimized the content to cut down on load time (not sure why Edge doesn't do the optimizing), but it is still not enough to resolve this issue. I would really appreciate some insights.

Composite continuously filling logs with endless retrying

Hi All,
I had a composite to enqueue the message into MQ using native MQ Adapter. Everything was working fine till one day when suddenly network connectivity to the MQ was lost due to firewall changes. As no connection could be established by the composite, I started getting Connection Timeout exceptions in the logs. Since then it's filling the logs continuously. How do I stop it?
I deleted the JNDI from Weblogic, tried shutting down the composite, changed the JNDI hosts to blank but all in vain.
Could you please tell what's happening behind the scenes?
- SOA Suite 11.1.1.5
- Simple BPEL composite
- Synchronous process with just enqueue operation

Sorry for delay. I tried undeploying also. Later I went ahead and removed the host from the weblogic JNDI to prevent it from trying the connection, but after that the error changed to below.

I further deleted the JNDI too, but still the above error is filling the logs. I think it's some sort of retry mechanism that is continuously trying to connect. But there is no process, no JNDI currently but still it's retrying.
Please help me stop this.

Hi. Trying to connect iomega ext. HD. i have to reformat for Mac. When i plug in & go to Disk Utility,the external shows up and i'm supposed to click "partition". When i do, a box comes up saying ""Disk Utility has lost its connection with the Disk Management Tool and cannot continue. Please quit and relaunch Disk Utility." I quit and relaunched, same results. After googling my question, i came up with this:
"Disk Utility has lost its connection with the Disk Management Tool and cannot continue. Please quit and relaunch Disk Utility."
(Quitting and reopening Disk Utility does not help.)
The following also appears in Console log:

Workaround
Quit Disk Utility.
From the Finder's Go menu, choose Go to Folder....
Type the following, then click OK: /Library/Receipts
Temporarily remove these iTunes receipts from /Library/Receipts (sort the folder alphabetically as a list):
iTunes.pkg
iTunes4.pkg
You can put them on the desktop, for example. Do not remove iTunesX.pkg or iTunes Phone Driver.pkg.
Open Disk Utility and repair disk permissions again.
Quit Disk Utility.
Put the removed iTunes receipts back in /Library/Receipts.
Note: This issue does not affect Disk Utility's verify or repair disk features.
All seemed good, for a moment, until, upon going back to Disk Utility after removing itunes4.pkg and putting on desktop (i did not have itunes.pkg to remove) the same thing was happening. When i highlite my iomega ext. on left of page, disk perrmissions is grayed and does not allow me to click on it. Same problem from the start. Can somebody please help me out here? That would soooo awesome. Thanx!

You shouldn't be scared of that, because you should already have backups. If you don't have backups, then backing up is the first priority.
Insert the Snow Leopard DVD and restart. When you hear the chime, hold down the C key and keep holding it until the Apple logo appears on the display. You should now see the language selection screen. Select your language, then choose Utilities > Disk Utility from the menu bar. In the Disk Utility window, select the external drive (not the internal). The drive may already have a data partition, in which case there will be another icon below the drive icon. Choose the drive icon, then select the Partition tab. Create a single partition with the default options (GUID partition table, Mac OS X Extended Journaled).
When the partitioning is done, select the startup volume on your internal drive in the DU window. Select the Restore tab. Drag the icon of the startup volume to the "Source" field. Then drag the icon of the newly-created volume on the external drive to the "Destination" field. Make sure you have this right. Then click the Restore button, and the data on your startup volume will be copied to the external drive.

How to use a scaled object(MC) to fill the background with the new properties

So lets say i have a stage 300 to 200 and all object that i have are for this dimensions.Also have an pattern function that fills the background.
But the user is thinking of resizing the stage to lets say 1024 to 480 (he switched from a phone to a tablet).And now the scale of the objects in the tablet screen are more than 3times before(when seen on the Phone)
How do i save the current new size object and use it in the creation of the new background (the 1024x480).

Hopefully you left Apple your contact info (name phone #, email address).
Apple would simply pass your contact to the last registered owner. It would be up to the owner to contact you. As Dave mentioned, Apple will not give you any info (except may to tell you it was or was not registered, but not to who). Turn it on once in a while and maybe they have activated FindMyiPad and a message will pop up (don't need to be logged onto the iPad to a message).

HT1212 I found an iphone over one year ago. Its locked with a passcode. I kept waiting for the owner to call it. They never did. I went to ATT store today, they put a new sim card in it. but now itunes needs the passcode to reset it to factory settings.

Filled redo log files are available to LGWR for reuse

In oracle documentation it is mentioned that:
Filled redo log files are available to LGWR for reuse depending on whether archiving is enabled.
*> If archiving is disabled (the database is in NOARCHIVELOG mode), a filled redo log file is available after the changes recorded in it have been written to the datafiles*.

If the log file would be filled up , LGWR would switch over to the next log group and would initiate a Log Switch which would further trigger DBWR to start checkpointing the content protected by this log group to the data file. By the time this operation would be going on, the Log group's members would have the status of Active and once it would be complete, the status would be marked to Inactive which means that this log group and its members can be reused by LGWR.
