PC doesn't boot when adding PXI card

Got a problem today. I have a PXI1042Q chassis running to a PC
The chassis had a slot free and I added another PXI5922 and the PC stall at the bios splash screen
More into details:
The PC is a DELL Optiplex GX620 running XP (current update) with BIOS Rev. A07
LabVIEW 2011 full Dev as august 2011 distribution
PXI chassis 1042Q filled with:
1: 8360 (1.0.2.0)
2: 6652
3: 5124
4: 5900
5: 5922
6: (5922)
7: 5422
8: 6251
Slot6 free, no problem
Add another 5922 in slot 6 , system doesn't boot and stall at the BIOS start splash screen
Free slot6: no problem
Pull out slot5 5922, enter slot6 5922: no problem (system found new card,installs driver..., selftest OK)
Reinstall slot5 5922: no Bootup
Pull out Slot6 5922: no problem
Before I start shuffling the cards (well some of them ) any ideas someone (at NI) ?
Or might there a DMA/PCIchannel/Interupt limit?
(I just want to avoid wild card swapping ... )

Updated the BIOS... no change
I pulled out the 5900 : not booting
pulled out the 5124 : is booting
swapped 5900 with 5124: not booting
seems that I have no chance to run three scope cards in this setup

When selecting a menu item I used to click the left mouse button and hold it down, move the pointer to the desired menu item and release the mouse button. Everything works fine in the mine menu, but there's a problem when adding new adjustment layer from the layer panel: when I release the button nothing happens, I have to press the button again. In previous PS version it worked fine. How can I fix this?

I don't think that is user fixable, meaning you'll have to wait till adobe fixes it with an update.

When adding credit card to account what is the issue number

I cant figure out the issue number they want when adding credit card to the account. Does anyone know what they are asking for?

The issue number is the credit card's embossed number. Then there is the security code that usually is a 3 or 4 digit code found on the back on the signature stripe.

System does not boot when PCIe express Card is inserted in system. Using Spartan-6 PCIe Integrated Endpoint Block 1.3

I am using Spartan-6 PCIe Endpoint Block core v1.3 and I am using ISE 12.1. I have used the PIO example design,
modified it according to our design.
The core is configured as below:
BAR0 - 8KB, 32-bit, Memory Type
Lanes - x1
Clock - 125 MHz (system clock)
The card is a custom board. When the card is pluged into the system the system does not boots, it hangs.
I have tried debugging using chipscope and monitored trn_lnk_up_n, trn_reset_n and trn_clk. trn_lnk_up_n stays
high (deasserted), trn_reset_n stays low (asserted), trn_clk is low (No clk).
What might be the issue?

I refered couple of answer records like AR# 34873 and AR# 34894, I monitored trn_reset_n, sys_reset_n, clock_locked, PLLLKDET and RESETDONE signals as suggested in AR# 34894.
Status as follows:
SYS_RESET_N = 1 (deasserted)
TRN_RESET_N = 0 (asserted)
CLOCK_LOCKED = 0 (deasserted)
PLLLKDET = 0 (deasserted)
RESETDONE = 0 (deasserted)
which means the transceiver PLL frequency is not within the predetermined tolerance. Is this problem related to the PCIe Jitter Attenuator I am using on the board to derive 125MHz from 100MHz system Clock.

Pavilion p6-2185ef - PC won't boot when upgrading graphic card

Hello,
I recently tried to upgrade my graphic card to a 760GTX (I also upgraded the power supply)
When I try to boot my computer with the new graphic card (all powered up including those pci express slots), everything is going OK, until the boot get stuck to the screen where I can press escape to access the bios.
And from there, I can't do anything. The PC won't boot any further, and I can't even access the BIOS when pressing escape (which usually works).
Since I don't reach the OS booting part, I don't think this comes from windows.
I tried to disable the PCI security in the BIOS, but then it seems that the displays is switch to the motherboard (even when I use the former graphic card (which still works fine)
I tried to upgrade the BIOS, it changed nothing.
I'm welcome to any suggestions on how to solve this issue.

The NVIDIA GTX 760 will not work in a PC with a version 7 BIOS.
Open up the Run window and enter: MSINFO32
Verify your BIOS level. It should be a version 7 BIOS.
There are some specific MSI NVIDIA GTX models that should work.

Video doesn't slow when added to timeline of different frame rate

I'm having trouble understanding what's going on here. I have a video shot at 59.94 fps, and I add it to a sequence that is set at 29.97 fps. It plays back normally which makes sense if premiere is dropping frames by 1/2, but the drop frame indicator says that it isn't dropping frames. The clip also runs the same length. The interpret frame rate for the clip in the project window says 59.94 fps, so if it's added to a sequence that is set at 29.97 fps and it's NOT dropping frames, shouldn't it be slowed down?

OK cool thank you very much. So I've been doing some research to figure out the best way to edit this project. The problem is that I have some GoPro videos shot at 1080X1920 and 59.94 fps and some at 480X840 and 240 fps. But the catch is I want to make the final product work well for Youtube. This is how I feel I should go about getting the best quality for my final video.
1. Set the sequence settings to 720X1280 (which is what I will export as so that the 480X840 doesn't loose as much quality compared to having to resize up to 1080X1920 to match the other clips). I don't think there's much quality loss in down-scaling the 1080X1920 to 720X1280 (if any, or is there?), so it's kind of a happy medium for both frame sizes that I have and it's still good for Youtube.
2. Apparently Youtube really works well with 29.97 fps, so this is what I will set the sequence frame rate at.
**Another side question I have is what if my sequence frame rate is set at 29.97fps and I interpret the frame rate of a 59.94fps clip as 29.97fps and add it to the sequence. Now if I use the rate stretch tool to speed up the now slowed down clip to 200% so that it plays at normal speed. Will Premiere remove frames to speed up the clip or does it really increase the rate of the frames so that I don't loose any frames?** My guess is if I export at 29.97fps it will remove half of the frames.
Is it not possible to have an exported movie clip that contains multiple frame rates?

Cisco UCS C220-M3 Server doesn't boot after adding Intel I350 Quad Port NIC

Hello,
We have purchased 2 Cisco UCS C220-M3 rack mounted servers (Single Processor) that have a dual port I350 LOM. We also purchased two Intel I350 Quad Port NICs to expand the available ports on each server from 2 to 6.
The problem we are facing is that the server will not complete the boot process unless we disable either the LOM or the Quad Port NIC. We have tried numerous settings in the BIOS area but we haven't managed to have them both working.
The I350 Quad Port NICs are from Intel and not from Cisco and we are running the latest FW/BIOS on the Servers as of March 10 2015.
We have followed the steps described in the installation guide to install them.
Could you provide some light in this situation please, what are our options?
P.S. Although the LOMs are I350, the MAC Address Vendor is Cisco, is it possible that Cisco servers accept only Cisco Branded Expansion Cards?

You are trying to use the cards with the LOMs enabled?
Which screen are you referring to in the first paragraph of your message?
Mine sits in BIOS POST for about 10 minutes and then resets itself....
We are also waiting for an answer from Cisco, so any findings/news will be posted here.

TS 100 No boot when Rocket Raid Card configured

I have a Rocketraid 2320 controller. With the card installed and NO raid configured I can boot to the MS server 2003 Standard cd disk. With the raid card configured I cannot boot to the CD drive. I also installed a SATA drive (not on the raid) installed MS server 2003 standard, all is well until I configure a raid array on the Rocketraid card.
I then only get a flashing cursor and no boot. I have changed the boot order to Boot Hard 1st then Rocketraid then CD rom and all variations of those devices. What am I missing? Thanks. Dave

When adding a card to Apple pay the prompts are in a different language

when I try to add a card to my phone through Apple pay the prompts are in Chinese? Or Japanes? Anyone have this problem?

I can't find the Helvetica or Geneva that is "installed on my computer" it is not showing up in my installed fonts on my control panel nor is it showing up in any of my programs such as photoshop or MS Word.

JTree doesn't refresh when adding node in a node

I have a strange problem
I have a JTree, with a root, and two nodes, which have nodes...
I have one node that is expanded, and the other is collapsed.
I made a method that enables me to add a sub node to the node selected by the mouse.
If I select the collapsed node and use my "add" method, and then expand the node, the node is here. No problem.
If I do the same thing on the expanded node, the tree doesn't seem to be willing to refresh. I can use some refresh(), expandPath()...and other methods to make it refreshed, but it doesn't care... is there some particular method that I must use, a listener that I must add to the tree....?
Any help would be appreciated

You need to call nodeStructureChanged(parentNode) on the model.

Laptop L850-Y3110 boots when lid opens

i have bought a new laptop, L850-Y3110, with win 8. the problem is when the windows fast startup is ticked, the lap boots when lid is open, even though i have done shut down. i have disabled "Panel Open - Power On" in the toshiba system settings. That doesn't make any difference. When is tick off fast startup in the power options in the control panel, then there is no problem, but in other laptops of other companies, even your fast startup in on, the lap doesn't boot when lid is open.
Is this a problem with toshiba laptops? Can anyone give me a solution.

I'm just wondering out loud.
As an example, if you set the computer to sleep when the lid is closed that may result in its awakening when the lid is opened.

Compaq 325 doesn't boots

Hello, my compaq 325 doesn't boots when i try to on it , it gives 5 times light on capslock key so its an motherboard issue so i had been to hp service center and they told its power ic has burnt and they repaired after running few days again in got same problem so i had visited some local repair shop they also told again your power ic has been burnt and i asked the reason for it amd they told its caz of overheating, according to my knowledge power ic burns caz of power fluctuations, but i am not an laptop technician so i want to know is it becaz of overheating or becaz of power fluctuations.
