PC organizers compatible with Blackberry?

I've looked all over the instructions and the web and I can't find a list of supported PC organizers for the BlackBerry. Does anyone know what works other than Outlook?

I called the TTY company which makes this product and they concluded I was doing everything right, but that the BlackBerry Z10 (turns out) is the culprit here as it is not completely compatible with the Q90D although the machine is cellular compatible. I say not completely because one time during the test I wrote hello and they were able to read that at the other end, but at no time did I receive any written information/message/text from them. I'm hoping that someone from BlackBerry support will read this and look into this matter for me. At the moment I'm very disappointed as my friend is not able to communicate with his parents who are old and do not have a computer, nor a cell phone. Thank you in advance for your support. Desktop Manager compatible with Blackberry Bold 5.0 OS?

To make a long story short, the workstation I use for Microsoft Exchange e-mail is running on the Windows 2000 server OS that was provided by the corporate office.
Since I currently have Desktop Manager 4.7 running without problems for my Blackberry Bold, I am wondering if it will be compatible with the upcoming Bold 9700 5.0 OS. I only need my e-mail forwarded to the Blackberry mobile.

Well, in most cases, I usually advise folks to use a version of DTM that is at least as new as their device OS. But in your case, that won't work since Win2k was last supported in DTM 4.7 and is not listed as supported since DTM 5.0. But, it can't hurt too much to try (just make sure you have well saved backups first!!)...what you really want to do is to install DTM and then also install your device OS update package atop DTM so that DTM can be properly modified for your specific device OS level. If it does not work, you can always fall back to 4.7.

RADIO APPLICATION compatible with on BB (BES)

Dear,
Regarding : RADIO APP (to listen to FM radio stations) compatible with on BB (BES)
I would like to download and make use of a compatible RADIO (to listen to the radio) application on BlackBerry curve that is compatible with BlackBerry Enterprise Service I use (BES).
unfortunaltely TUNEIN Radio aapp is not compatible with BlackBerry Enterprise Service I use (BES) used in the company.
What Radio app can you advise to simply listen to FM radio stations.

FM Radios are available on a limited Curve model even Bold and Toruch Models don't have that , I believe 9380 don't have any FM Radios as per this official page http://worldwide.blackberry.com/blackberrycurve/9380/curve_specifications.jsp and this website http://www.gsmarena.com/blackberry_curve_9380-4331.php .
Again , regarding Mobile Hotspot feature , This feasture depends on your Carrier and the service plan you have . If your Carrier supports Mobile Hotspot and you have the required plan then you'll see the same under Manage Connection . If you're not getting this feature then it is not something which you can Install from app world But you should call your Carrier Digicel to know further . Blackberry 10 the data isn't compatible with the version of the device software that you are currently running

my update to 10.3.1.1565 messed the handwriting input up on my phone. so I tried to downgrade to 10.2.1, upon doing so all my files were wiped, however I thought I was being smart by doing a complete backup this morning while running 10.3.1.1565 prior to attempting the os downgrade to 10.2.1 using BlackBerry Link,
Anyway I had to restore my device back to 10.3.1.1565 and now when I attempt to do a restore using the .bbb ( backup ) which I created earlier on today i.e getting the following error message:

the software versions on my phone now and the software version when I did my backup are exactly the same 10.3.1.1565. I'm able to restore my user files and apps ect, as it offers to do a partial restore,., but my contacts, and remember files are now gone. I NEED THESE. how do I get these back..

I figured it out. so I figured I would post. Apparently BlackBerry pulled the 10.3.1.1565 update. anway not sure what happened butI ended up usng Shenshi and grabbing an update from a different carrier, upon doing so I am now able to do a complete restore using my old BBB file,

What PDA/Blackberry Should I purchase to be compatible with My iMac G5?

I need to buy a new cell phone b/c we are moving, and I think I'd like to try a Blackberry. Can I make it compatible with my iMac, or is there a PDA that you recommend that is better? Unfortunately I have to use Cingular, so I'm limited in my choices, I think.

Upgraded to the version 2.0. I was a struggle on this one playbook compared to my spouses. Finally it worked. However it is now complaining that the latest version of BBM isn't compatible with the bridge. This is new considering it did work after the upgrade. I go to AppsWorld and there is no option to attempt to upgrade BBM

I have been trying to load an application to my BB 9000 since a monday and getting this error "This application is not compatible with your device and cannot be loaded".
As evident, I am new to BlackBerry development and got to port an existing J2ME project on BB 9000.
To load application I am using
- BB Dektop software 5 (latest)
- BB Device Software 4.6 is installed (which is the version of BB 9000 as well)
I am able to load sample JDE 4.6 applications but I build my project through same JDE and through eclipse (JDE compoment 4.6.0.19) as well but couldn't load it,
I even signed my app since I am using net.rim.device.api.servicebook api which requries signing.
Can someone please explain me
1) why this error occurs in first place
2) how to setup right envioroment to load an application on a given BB handset (BB 9000 vodafon India to be specific)
3) How would manage this process on a single machine if I have 4-5 different BB handsets.
I shall be thanful for any logical pointer to solution to these problems.

The main problem with your genrated ALX file. I think in your ALX file contains <fileset Java="1.49" _blackberryVersion="[5.0.0)"> TAG and remove the _blackberryVersion attribute. Then it will work.
So your final ALX file contains

Even thought it is not installed then make sure that your application may not delete from your device. Select the application and click on delete button in Desktop manager.

It does sound very Watch Folders-esque, however, it seems strange that there are many folders involved. Are all the folders under a single parent folder perhaps? If so, you could try renaming or moving that folder. Additionally, to clarify, all 60 files are images, correct?
Additionally, you can try creating a new catalog, just to see if that lets you in. Hold down the Shift key while launching the Organizer. If you get the timing right, the Catalog Manager will appear.

Issues with Blackberry Playbook not being recognised by Windows Explorer

Hello, I'm new to the forums but am having the same problems as many others are, that being my Playbook not regonised by Windows Explorer. I have tried all of the solutions I have read like unistalling Desktop Manager, uninstalling then re-installing drives in Windows Device Manager. But one I recently stumbled across was uninstalling Blackberry Device Manager, how do I do this?
Also the main problem appears to be that my Playbook will not sync anything with my computer. In Desktop Manager I can back-up my Playbook, but not sync anything. After re-installing a drive I now get the message of: 'Your Blackberry device is not compatible with this feature' whereas before I got the message of: 'You haven't configured any sync methods' but yet all of the sync options were greyed out.
How do I get Windows Explorer to recognise my Playbook as a drive and how can I sync in Desktop Manager?

IPhone 2.0 software now compatible with Photoshop Elements 6?

While the current software is compatible with earlier versions of Photoshop Elements, it is not compatible with Elements 6 since Abobe changed their database (nor longer using Access). I notice that the specs on iPhone 3G say compatible with Photoshop Elements.
Can anyone confirm that means Elements 6?

However, to be fair, while there may be savings to be had, your company would have to replace existing phones with iPhones and tie everyone into one carrier (which accross a multi-office environment may not be practical, due to coverage issues). The iPhone does not offer the level of encryption available to a Blackberry/RIM handset, or the ability to enforce security policies on handsets, which may be a concern to your IT and Security people. It also misses some useful features (such as searching email for words/phrases. This is a feature I use regularly on my Blackberry, and I'm disappointed to not find it on my iPhone. ). And there is the whole, One Vendor issue that may worry some (you can connect non-RIM, e.g. Nokia, etc, phones to your BES providing the phone supports the required blackberry software).
I've got to say, as much as I love my iPhone (and I'm personally migrating from my blackberry to it) I don't think I'd recommend it as an enterprise phone.... yet... It's still got a way to go. As a personal+business phone, I'm giving it a shot (as the personal side is quite good). My current employer is a small company, with no BES, so I use my carrier's BIS, and get by with it. As such, the calendar+contacts sync available through mobileMe is a plus . If I was planning IT direction for a larger organisation though, I'd be considering the iPhone (if for no other reason than an excuse to play with one ), but I wouldn't be preparing a migration just yet!
