what the hell has happened to the formerly secure firefox? I cant even use it without all the above mentioned crap overwellming my computer

Honestly I'm not sure if these began just after I updated FF to the current release, but it's been happening for at least 2 weeks. The arrow keys and page up and page down keys all work as if I'm pressing the 'home' and 'end' keys on my keyboard. This is only when using FF. Please contact me if you need more clarification. Is it Yahoo! mail?? Many users have discovered all kind of problems and glitches with Yahoo! mail in Firefox when using an old bookmark saved before Yahoo!'s recent server changes.
I suggest clearing your Yahoo cookies and entering through the main page to get a better address for your current mail server.
To remove your Yahoo cookies -- save any pending work first -- call up the Cookies dialog while viewing any page on yahoo.com (or your Yahoo site). You can use either:
* right-click the page > View Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
* Tools menu > Page Info > Security > "View Cookies"
In the dialog that opens, you can remove the site's cookies individually.

Screen keeps jumping up and down but only when using firefox-so not a hardware problem
The screen keeps jumping randomly up and down but nothing is being touched or pressed. The screens can be email, you tube, bank or general internet screens, or even trying to create this page
Start Firefox in <u>[[Safe Mode]]</u> to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox (Tools) > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Try to boot the computer in Windows Safe mode with network support (press F8 on the boot screen) as a test to see if that helps. -
Certain emails from f.chtah.com(image info) are not showing graphic or image content. This happens in both gmail and hotmail. If opened in Google Chrome, they show up.
I had my computer wiped clean last week and everything was showing up ok again until this morning. The same emails are having the problem that was going on for the previous month.
I make sure that all updates are installed.I figured it out. Clear your cookies. The company that hosts the images and the stylesheets updated their domain name- i figured this out in Chrome, it was showing a different URL for the css- http://ebm.cheetahmail.com
After all the cookies (Privacy Tab in preferences) and reloading the pages the images and stylesheets started working again.

A couple days ago the font in the apps I am playing like Farmville, Puzzled Hearts and Cafe World went small and doesn't show the whole page either. Its not like that in Internet Explorer so that tells me its either a Facebook or Firefox problem. The Home page is the right size font I use. It's just so strange...

N95, Vista drivers and media player mode
HI, Sorry to double post but I'm new to this forum and not sure where this should go. I got a new N95, I installed the older version of PC suite that came on the disc with the phone. I then updated to the latest version. .83 . It works fine with PC suite I can sync things transfer files etc, however I cant use it in data transfer or media player mode (it keeps searching for drivers it cant find). These are the only modes I am interested in. This is on a fairly new laptop with Vista ultimate installed. However I tried it on another computer in my house with Vista Home Premium installed, however this time I didn't install any extra software and it detected the phone in both data transfer and media player mode without any problems.
So I'm guessing that it installed something to mess it up when I installed the original version of PC Suite. PC Suite cleaner says it isn't vista compatible but I ran it in XP compatibility mode and it appeared to do something, but I have un-installed all versions of PC Suite and it still has the same problem, I cant use system restore as it kept setting restore points whenever it installed a part of PC suite and I ran out of system restore points. So please tell me how can I get it back to normal. It looks like I'm not the only one here with a similar problem, someone must know something, Id be really grateful for any suggestions.

I can help I think. I just spent all afternoon yesterday with this problem and my conclusion is that in spite of what Nokia says somewhere in the installation documentation about the Media Player driver for WMP 10 working with WMP 10 "or above", it does not work with WMP 11, and if you want this functionality you will have to roll back to WMP 10 from WMP 11.
I think this may not be an option for Vista users, but for WinXP SP2 and an N80ie such as I have, here is what happened to me.
I had WMP 11 and I downloaded the driver for WMP 10 from here.

I then connected the N80ie to the PC using the C series cable that came with the phone, and when the Found New Hardware Wizard started I browsed to the location of the driver file and it announced that it had installed it, and I had to reboot. Whenever I would reboot, or even without rebooting, the Found New Hardware Wizard kept opening again, and again, and again and would seemingly have never stopped opening.
Now in retrospect I see that I wasn't installing it according to the directions, which say to right click on the WMP 10 driver file and choose "Install", but I don't think that would work any better if I had.
In the end, I rolled back to the Version of WMP that was on the machine when I installed WinXP (which was WMP 9) and then upgraded it to WMP 10.
Then following the directions for installation this time, I right clicked on the WMP 10 driver file, installed it, and it works fine.
If you open WMP 10 and choose Sync, and if the N80ie is connected via cable and Media Player mode, you will be able to choose it at the top of the right hand pane of the Sync display in WMP 10 and see the files on yor N80 plus (if the directions are correct and I understand them correctly... I haven't tried it) copy files in one direction from WMP 10 to your N80.

Step 15 under "Rolling back to a previous version of the Player" says "Click Microsoft User-Mode Driver Framework Feature Pack 1.0.0" and then click "Remove".
I found that I had "Microsoft User-Mode Driver Framework Feature Pack 1.5" installed instead of 1.0.0 and when I clicked "Remove" I got dialog box that said if I removed it a whole list of programs might not work anymore, including but not only Nokia PC Suite, and Nokia Software Updater. So I elected NOT to remove "Microsoft User-Mode Driver Framework Feature Pack 1.5", and everything seems to work OK in spite of my not doing that.

I think that Nokia needs to come out with an updated driver for WMP 11 or Vista users are out of luck if they can't roll back to WMP 10, and us XP users will have to stay on WMP 10 until that happens if we want this feature to work on our N80's.

Using Azul media player app on my ipad Apple tv will only display sound but not video from movies. Any ideas on a fix. I set mirroring to on but it still does not display video. It will display photos and video recorded from my iphone.
Here are the steps for AirPlay:
Before starting Azul from your (running iOS 5.x/6.x) home screen where have have all your apps we need to turn on mirroring
On your iPhone 4S/5 or iPad 2 or 3, double-click the Home Button to view your recently-used apps.
Swipe all the way to the right to until you see the icon.
Note: If the icon does not appear, go to the "If AirPlay Mirroring is not visible or available on your mobile iOS device" section.
Tap the icon to see the list of available AirPlay devices.
Enable AirPlay Mirroring in this menu by tapping on an available Apple TV, then sliding the Mirroring slider to ON.
Now you should be seeing your iPad/iPhone on your TV.
Start up Azul now and using the settings icon on the top right corner go to the option that say "TV out" ON.
When you do that you will see an Orange screen
Now click "Done" and play the video you want to watch and it will AirPlay -

compare to other mobile os this two feature is need in windows phone ...microsoft should add static ip configuration and media player in the notification bar. so that user can easily chage and access he songs.
if DHCP is not enable we can't access the wifi in windows phone so need to enable static ip configuration in windows phone...Your are not alone with that feature requirement. Please, continue there …

HELP Audio problem when setting windows volume at max and media player at max
im using msi eclipse x58
whenever i set my windows volume at max and media player at max also, after few seconds it suddenly not hearing audio but my media player is still playing
on other applications like skype wenever i set windows volume at max and after few seconds of voice chat with my friend the error says audio device disconnected.

When using my ipad air it keeps coming off the page I'm on or app I am using and going back to the home screen. Also when using my ipad the screen will go white with a black apple icon in the middle for about 20 seconds then it makes a ping sound and goes to the home screen. Could anyone help please. I upgraded to OS Yosemite on my MacBook Air...and I cannot upgrade the Adobe Flash download that Adobe keeps asking me to download. I get the screen and when I click on the icon it just creates a new window but not download. Thoughts?
I just tried the link and it is just fine. If the GateKeeper pops up then open Security & Privacy preferences, click on the General tab, set the last radio button to Anywhere.

Hello. I have windows xp. When using Firefox as my home page, I get awful screen interference of lines verticle and horizontal. When I switch to Internet Explorer I don't get them. I want to keep Firefox as server.
Here is something that you can try:
# Click on Tools and then click Options.
# Select the Advanced panel
# Select the General tab
# Uncheck Use hardware acceleration where available.
# Click File and then click Exit.
# Start Firefox normally.
Once you have followed those steps, you'll want to follow these as well and see if the lines are gone.
Click the Help menu and select Restart with Add-ons Disabled.
Let me know if this has eliminated the problem. -
