PC running XP I see no driver listed for my iPod hardware drive.

When I plug in my Ipod (5gen 30GB) I see it listed in my hardware list under disk drives when I go to my control panel/system. But there is NO driver for the device. Is this OK? Where and how do I load the driver?

I found that PR department can see invited vendor list for RFQ in PR Document Status tab. In my company, invited vendor list should be kept confidential and only authorized persons can access. As PR authorizatin control is not down to PR creator, this information may be disclosed to other non-related persons wihtin same purhasing group. You issue well explained the 50% of solution. As you said importance for all organization to have secured and efficient authorization concept. Based on organizational structures and business processes an authorization matrix( is just working sheet) is very useful for to control all t.codes under Module / Business role specific.
For example:
Purchase Requisition (internal purchasing document) is a request by any department to purchasing department to supply material or provides service. Only here user(Mr.X) in department create PR(ME51N) and Department head (Mr.Y) release (ME54N)the Purchase Requisition(PR). For change PR , you can use Mr.X and you can have another User ID Mr.Z { Mr.X, Mr.Y & Mr.Z should not have access for RFQ or PO details}
Once Purchase Requisition released, then its responsibility purchasing organisation or respective purchasing group (buyer) , start work on determining source by sending Request for quotation(RFQ,ME41) to different vendors by Mr.A. Once all quotation received, you can maintain quotation in ME47 by user Mr.B. In vendor selection process, you can compare quotation in ME49 by user Mr.C.( also you can set approval process for Request for quotation ME45 by Mr.D) {Mr.A, Mr.B,Mr.C,Mr.D may have access on PR but no access on PO)
Once Vendor decided, user (Mr.E) can create Purchase Order (PO )and then it will be released by Mr.F, so then only PO print send to vendor. {Mr.E & Mr.F have access on PR & PO}
Likewise you should have different users for authorisation based on role in inventory management ( Mr. G can receive goods, Mr.H can have authorisation for Excises, Mr.J can have issuing goods)

1.) Use the same folder structure as in iTunes (could be an option)
2.) Allow creation of custom eq settings in iTunes.

What the next update needs is a better way for ipods to deal with gapless albums, I have several albums that I put on gapless album cuz each track leads into the next one perfectly and that little pause really throws off the feel of the music. But I can't put either of those albums on Repeat All, Shuffle Songs or Shuffle Albums cuz then it only plays the one song in it's own playlist and to get to the next track I have to go back to the menu and scroll down to the next one, which is a hassle to say the least.

I have a similar problem. Originally, my iTunes advanced setting was set such that a shortcut to the song was copied into my music library so sometimes copying songs to my iPod resulted in them being grayed out. I changed that setting some time ago and haven't had the problem until recently.
I don't know what to do. here's the situation:
     1. I have a song that is stored on my file system within My Documents. (it was purchased via Amazon)
     2. Through iTunes I choose the File | Import file to library (or some text like that)
     3. I navigate to the location of the song
     4. I import it.
     5. I can play the tune from the music library or from an internal PC playlist.
     6. I then attempt to copy the song to my iPod. When I do, it appears in the iPod's playlist grayed out.
I have done those steps countless times for dozens of songs without a problem. Even others that I've purchased through Amazon. What is so different this time? I should mention that this problem NEVER happens if I buy the song through the iTunes store. Only if I buy it from another source (e.g. Amazon). WHY ???

Can't see the songs listed on the IPOD in Itunes

I cannot click on the IPOD administrator when connected to Itunes and get the song listing on the IPOD shuffle. All I get is the IPOD shuffle settings screen (showing Software version 1.0.4, capacity, serial # etc)- no listing of the songs, This is a recent problem - in the last 2 weeks. I have downloaded latest IPOD and ITUNES software and it does not fix the problem.
Can someone please help?

Not dumb... It's actually a bit confusing with the latest version of iTunes, and it only affects 1st and 2nd gen shuffle users.
Before, it was Settings and Content. And they clearly looked like separate "tab" choices. iTunes 11 changed the wording to Settings and On This iPod, and it's harder to see the separation as "button" choices. So, it looks like it says, "Settings on this iPod." On other iPods, it starts with Summary (not Settings) there are more button choices there (not just two), so it's not as confusing that the last one is On This iPod.

HT201272 I don't see how this works for an iPod

I have an iPod Touch running iOS 5.1.1 and have a few aps that I have downloaded and then deleted and now I want to reinstall them on the iPod. The example of the App Store app bottom menu bar shown above is not like the menu bar on my iPod. My iPod does not have a "purchased" or "genius" menu heading. A lengthy internet search comes up with a scary solution of backing up the iPod, deleting iTunes on my Mac, re-installing iTunes and restoring the iPod. I fear losing all of my movies, songs, apps, podcasts and photos. Simply re-checking the box on iTunes does not work. Neither does restoring the iPod. It seems, once an app is deleted from a device, it is no longer able to be used on that device ever.

Most of the screen shots in that article are for the iPad. For an iPod touch you would go to the updates section at the bottom of the App Store screen and in there you will find the purchased section you seek.

I'm not seeing my Options button for keeping iPod in Source list

I've recently bought an iPod Shuffle which is working fine. However I do have one problem - in the User Guide it states that iTunes can be set to keep iPod Shuffle in the Source list when it isn't connected. I want to do just that but can't!
Guide tells you to select iPod Shufle in the Source list and click the Options button. My problem is that I don't see an Options button when I click the iPod icon!
In the guide it looks like I should see a panel of 4 buttons - an iPod icon, a what looks like an equaliser icon, then what I can only describe as a flower icon and then the eject iPod icon. But I'm not seeing it!
I'm getting very frustrated now, I've downloaded the latest iTunes software and I've looked on the help pages but nothing has helped.

Cannot add apps to iTunes Wish List for my ipod

When using iTunes on my Macbook, I cannot add apps (for ipod, ipad, etc. NOT for computer) to my Wish List. When I try, a pop up error alert box says that "Your request is temporarily unable to be processed., to try again later." The odd thing is that I can add music albums to my Wish List. I am not trying to add previously bought apps, but new ones that I find that I might want later. I used to be able to do this, but not as of recently. I even updated my Itunes to see if that would help. No effect. Is it my wifi network,? Any ideas of how to remedy this?

thanks. I opened iTunes this morning and miraculously my wish list seems to be working. i see one app i had added to be downloaded. I am able to remove songs from wish list and add songs and preview all.
last i heard from the customer service person was that they referred the issue to a senior level support person. this after i sent them several screen shots of my wish list and the error about unable to add to existing wish list because ittem was already there.
I have not heard from them that my issue is resolved. I will give them a day or so to get back to me to confirm they fixed the problelm.
very strange. at least they acknowledged the problem did indeed exist as they referred me to the online user forum for possible solutions. I indicated the problem persisted as early as June 2010 and as late as Jan 2012. and I had upgraded to ver 10.5.3 as well as remove and re-install even AFTER they kept telling me they removed my wishlist.

Can I have two seperate iTunes lists for two iPods on the same computer?

I have two nanos, one for me and one for my daughter. Can we manage two seperate download lists when we plug in to the same computer.
The additional complication...her nano has a smaller memory than mine, so her's wouldn't hold all the songs anyway.

Photo Management/Folders Synch Wish List for Itunes/Ipod

Love the fact I can synch my photos, pick folders and the order in which they are synched. However, my photo folder structure goes to three levels. Itunes only allows one to select one level of folder and everything within that folder is then copied and displayed in one set.
I'd very much like the ability to tag specific directories to be more generalized and be able to specify specific folders for synching at whatever level of the folder/directory structure one wishes, for as many folders as one wishes. So instead of only being able to tag my FAMILY photo directory I could specifically mark only the CLOSEFAMILY and MYDOG folders within the FAMILY directory.

I think the only way will be to create a new directory, copy the directories you want there, and synch. You could then have a "My Ipod Pictures" directory, which had the family directory only containing the photos from 'mydog' and 'closefamily' directories. Hope this helps. (BTW, you do say that you have plenty of hard disk space)

Due list for Billing type: IV on VF04

Hi Experts,
Please give your suggestion for the below issue on VF04.
1. My scenario : STO between two plants
Purchase order->Delivery-> Billing (JEX-Profoma Invoice)-> J1IIN (Excise Invoice).
The scenaio is ended in Excise Invoice (J1IIN) with reference to the JEX-Proforma Invoice.
When I run the Billing due list, I am getting the list of deliveries which I created for STO. But it's all showing for the Billing type: IV not for JEX.
My question here is, why I am getting the due list for IV (actually it should be for JEX). This is creating problem whenever the user to see the due list for F1 and F2 and others, including these the system is showing for IV which is not relevant.
Please suggest how to remove IV from the billing due list. Is there any setting in VTFL-Copy controls?.

The suggestion you have given for the Sales Document type: DL which I am not using. The settings which is there in VOV8 is not relevant.

Yes, it is possible to see the Purchase Order list for particular Storage Location of particular Plant as follows.
Using T-code ME2N - Purchasing Documents per Document Number, the input data to be given as follows.
Plant : _______
Scope of List : ALV
Document Date : __________ to __________ (report require period)
If the report input data Storage Location require, you have to select Dynamic Selection button(Red,Green,Blue color button) and shown 2 options are as follows.
1) Purchasing Document Header
2) Purchasing Document Item
The above option, you have to click Purchasing Document Item shown Storage Location field double click and give input data Storage Location ______ (list of PO require Storage Location) and execute the report. The particular Plant and the particular Storage Location list of purchase orders displayed.

Who is Who - dropdown list for fields in the advance search

In the advance search of the Who is Who service, we have the Organization Unit and Cost Center as searching fields.
We can't be able to see the dropdown list for these 2 fields from the Portal.
Do anyone have any idea of what configuration is missing?

according to my knowledge they don't have Unique ID but unique names attached to them.
open Outlook
go to Tools -> Forms -> Design Form -> select Message then right click on 'To' textbox and chose Advance Properties it has a field 'Name' that name can be used for reference in your development.

Load the drivers and you should then be able to add it in Print Center.
