PC suit does not displays messages and contacts

I have Nokia N73 and I have installed Nokia PC suite which displays my images and videos but not my contacts and messages. When I open my contacts in PC suit it displays error that Refreshing contact list fail and during synchronizing PC suite gives warning that your mobile phone is not responded. Please tell me possible suggestions to solve this issue.

Not sure if you've still got the problem, but try the Nokia Suite Cleaner and check the Owner permissions on the user profile in C:\Users or C:\Documents and Settings and its subdirectories.

  • HELP! Ovi suite does not display Photos only thumb...

    Hi, please help. Ovi Suite does not display Photos saved in my computer. Just getting Default grey image for everything on the thumbnails. OS XP home (Service ack 3). Run the repair and nothing. I uninstalled the application deleted everything to do with Nokia. Downloaded the application again and still the same problem. Nokia Ovi version 3.1.0.84.     I followed this troubleshooting steps and it still the same issue!..
    Step 1
    - Go to Add/Remove in Control Panel
    - Click Ovi Suite

    Once repair is completed then please restart computer and check.
    If Step 1 didnt work, then try the below step
    Step2
    -Go to Add/Remove in Control Panel
    - Click Ovi Suite
    - Click Uninstall
    Also uninstall the following f
    - Nokia Connectivity Cable Driver
    - PC connectivity Solution
    Then right click my computer, click manage.
    - Device Manager-Ports- If you find anything by name Nokia please unistall ( Dont remove anything else)
    Then reinstall windows Installer from the link provided below

    - Then restart computer.
    - Download and install Ovi Suite
    - Restart Computer again

    I guess sometimes this happens when the direct x is missing or corrupted in the system. Please download and install from the link provided below.

    Make sure you restart the computer when the installation is complete..

    And this did not work, I also installed DIRECTX and still it did not work, PLEASE I WOULD LIKE THIS TO BE FIXED!

  • Email does not display message body

    The message body of emails displayed fine for months but suddenly does not display message body of any email.  Can only see to, from, subject line on right side of screen.  Blank body.

    Try a reset:
    Hold the Sleep and Home button down until you see the Apple logo.

    my list of 'devices' on 'FINDER' has 'turned off.  gone to not (bright ) does not display backup disks or I- pad etc.  I can't see my list to eject a disk or copy a file to I-Pad etc???
    Also how would I un-zip a file I have downloaded to "download" and then copy it to a disk??

    The quick watch window is only displaying Name (screenshot below). It is not displaying Type

    Could you share us a sample? So we could debug the same app in our side, please also tell us the VS version in your side.
    For example, just a simple console app with a variable "int i"， I could get it in my VS2013 version like the following screen shot. So if you debug a simple sample as mine, how about the result? If it works well, I doubt that it would be related
    to the specific variable of your app.

  • Inbox does not display messages. I can highlight a message and click on it and it comes up in preview pane.

    I open TB and new messages download into inbox. the inbox pane does not show any messages but if I hover the cursor over the pane it highlights a message and when I click on it the message opens in the preview pane. How do I get the messages to show up again in the inbox. Thanks

    lets try forcing the issue.
    It is the fact that is is only a single pane in the three pane view that has me. If nothing displayed then I would be happier.
    open your profile folder by going to the troubleshooting information on the help menu and clicking the show folder button
    create a new folder called chrome
    open notepad and insert
    treechildren:-moz-tree-cell-text(read)
    color: #D50000 !important
    Save the file in the new chrome folder as userChrome.css
    That forces read mail to be a rather ugly red color. I am looking for answers, perhaps if this also does not work we need to look as something like corrupt font files.

  • PC Suite does not synchronize messages

    Hey guys,,, have some little probs with the interplay of my brand new Nokia N70 and PC Suite. PC Suite works perfectly, including contact synchronization, notes synchronization, sending messages! Unfortunately SMS messages cannot be displayed under Nokia Phone brwoser -> Nokia N70 -> messages. When tryin to do so, the updating progress takes ages, buggers up the system and finnally the explorer stucks. Sometimes, but not always an error message "cannoction is not possible" (translated from German, actual words may be slightly different). At the same time, I cannot open the Message function of my Nokia N70 phone and it also stucks! On the other hand, sending SMS via PC Suite works fine, also the sent SMS will be displayed in the "Sent" folder on the mobile... I already disabled my firewall (which should usually not interfer with the functioning of the software), downloaded the latest PC Suite Software, updated my Windows and updated the firmware, still the problem persists and makes it impossible to read and manage SMS messages on the PC. Data: OS: XP, SP2, German PC Suite: Nokia_PC_Suite_682_rel_22_0_ger_web.msi Connection: CA-53 USB Connection cable Would be glad for any kind of suggesstions...     Try this:
    Uninstall MMS plugin from phone (you can find it from installed applications)...After that restart PC and phone. Does it help??
    If not...run "Get Connected" (it installs that MMS plugin back to phone).

  • I have just purchased Quicktime Pro but Trim does not display IN and OUT options. It trims to the frame on display.

    I have just installed Qicltime Pro but when I edit a video file and try to set the In and Out points, it does not show any way to set them. It trims the video down to the one point on display. Have I installed the software correctly?

    QuickTime Player 7 Pro is in the Utilities folder.
    To set in and out points set the position you want in the timeline and tap the i key. Move to the end of your selection and tap the o key. To step frame by frame move the playhead by tapping the left/right arrow keys.

  • Firefox does not display button and table in High Contrast Theme

    When i'm using the high contrast theme in Windows 7, the webpage i'm accessing does not show layouts for tables, textboxes and buttons, whereas while accessing the same page with other browsers (i.e Chrome,IE) I can view them correctly. Please suggest whether it is possible to get the layouts in High contrast theme, if Yes, kindly tell the detailed steps to do that!

  • Message in forms AS10g does not display message

    We use the message command to display messages when debugging forms. In AS10g, the content of the message is not displayed. Has anyone found a workaround to this?

    The console window is set to the proper window. If I duplicate the line of code, it works... twice. I.E.
    message('before commit');
    message('before commit');
    commit;
    message('after');
    message('after');
    This works but you get two messages. Code it once and you get only an acknowledge button on not the text. I've also tried all combinations of the acknowledge option and using a pause after the message.

    When do we get support for MMS and calendar / tasks?
    It has worked in versions prior to Ovi Suite, bad not to get it to work 2012 ;-)
    Nokia have posted in other forums that it is planned for several years now.

    I run Nokia Suie version 3.5.34.  In this version I see symbols for MMS messages. Unfortunately The content is ZERO after I sync with my phone despite the fact that I have several hundred MMS messages in my Nokia N95 8GB.
    I have also tried to establish the Smart Groups. These could in theory find my old MMS messages and sort the based on various criteria. Unfortunately this is useless since the content is still ZERO after I sync with the phone.
    I have also had this problem with different Nokia software (Ovi, PC Suite). Now my phone has around 4000 SMS and MMS in it and is slow and useless. I really need a backup and organizing function that works on a PC! When I delete the messages one by one on my mobile it takes me about 45 seconds per message!!! I do not have the time and patience for this **bleep**.

  • Blackberry Z10 does not display all Facebook Contacts or PIctures

    Hello, 
    I am having an issue with my new Z10 where it isn't displaying all of my FB contacts or any display pictures for the contacts that are actually displayed. 
    I have tried wiping the phone and starting over (re-syncing accounts and info, etc) but nothing works. 
    Some contacts are displayed, but not all. And the ones that are displayed have no display pictures. 
    Please help.

    If you connect via Wi-Fi, do the contacts load up?  Also just to clarify are you looking at the contacts in the Facebook application or the synchronization with your current contacts on the BlackBerry Z10?

  • AFTER downloading Firefox 4.0 I get a "system does not support" message and nothing happens. My old Firefox has been replaced by this one that dosn't work.

    Asked by Firefox to download Firefox 4.0 for OSX I did so. It replaced my old Firefox that worked fine. When I try to open it I get a Firefox "cannot be launched" window and nothing more happens. I tried to redownload Firefox 3.616 but to open it I get a "choose an application" message and I don't know which application to use.

    What is going on? I can't believe that it's virtually impossible to find a place to download the old version without going through all kinds of hoops and hoping that someone was brave enough to face the confusion of getting to the right place in order to find a replacement version. Why is system compatibility check not available before downloading? 4.0 downloaded and installed without ever stopping to check compatibility, which would have saved several hours of trying to figure out how to get the old version back (and it's no easier when you have a brain injury believe me!)
    And I'll still be forced to use this sucky new version in a "short time?" Have you people totally gone off the rails?

  • IPhone does not sync calendar and contact information

    iPhone has not synced calendar or contact info entered on the phone with iCal or Address Book. Has shown NO updating in either app since mid-February. Since that time, have updated to iTunes 7.6 and, IIRC, OS X 10.5.2. This is a problem!!

    Do all Lessons as described by you - dont sync.
    Have tested it with several different contact groups or single new contacts. Did it several times (resetting sync history and editing new groups contacts).
    Also checked those boxes to overwrite iPhone Entries by the Computer.
    Nothing appears on the iPhone.....
