Pc suite 6 system error - e61 smartphone

can synchronize contacts. can't synchronize notes and schedule. any idea why?

Thanks for this.
These are the steps I had tried coutless times over the last three days or so - always came back to the same problem.
I have now found the solution, and got my phone installed, but no thanks to Nokia Technical Support - it was due to a post on a message board at
/discussions/board/message?board.id=pcsuite&message.id=16290#Ma61290.
Basically, the Nokia Uninstall software (or the PC Suite cleaner software) does not go far enough. In particular, it needs to delete any keys in the Registry under Local_Machine\System\CurrentControlSet\services that include nmwcd in their name - there were 4 in my Registry. These relate to the USB drivers for the generic phone, phone parent and modem. Curently, these have to be deleted manually.
Without these deleted, Windows rightly thinks that the phone alreday exists, because these Registry keys say it is. This is not a Windows problem (as the Nokia Tech Support people via Nokia Customer Care UK insisted to me twice), it is a Nokia problem. Their uninstall/cleaner software is not good enough when you have to install a new version of PC Suite and it needs sorting PDQ, as I and loads of others (as is evident from the message boards) have the same problem.

  • PC Suite - System Error

I can not sync my phone with PC Suite.
I know that the phone is connecting, because I can see my messages in the PC suite window.
Clicking on the Sync logo in PC Suite I get the following message "Please check your Synchronisation settings and ensure your phone is in the Idle state, then restart the Synchronisation." and the message "System Error" on the handset.
II have uninstalled PC Suite and NSU, and used the nokia cleaner...and Reinstalled PC Suite (v7.1.26.1) and NSU (v1.6.13 en) on my notebook.
The handset is a 6110 Navigator (24.01) V06.01 RM-122.  I have reset my handset to the factory default settings.
I am using XP SP2, USB or Bluetooth, same problem.
I can not reinstall PC Suite Support as it is greyed out in PC Suite.
When I try to run NSU, it hangs that the first "starting application" window, and then error message "Sorry, Nokia Software Updater service in unavailable, please try again later".
I have kept on digging to try and sort this myself...
If I set PC Sync to sync everything but callendar/tasks, it works fine. Even with callendar set for 1 Day past and 1 Day future it still fails.
Some posts talk about bad characters in your outlook calendar, but I can not delete my entire calendar as the whole reason I need this is my calendar at work.
Another post talks about your PC Sync profile in the phone, but mine seems OK. Not sure what it should be, but it seems normal.
I still have no idea why NSU fails.
    Any advice or solution?
Message Edited by daewoo01 on 05-Jun-2009 07:10 AM

Continue to try and solve this problem...
When I try to open the calendar on the phone, it just flashes and doesn't do anything....  so the problem is obviously with the phone...
Nokia Care just suggested I reset to default settings, which I did, no improvement...
    any ideas?

  • Nokia E61 system error, phone start-up failure

Good day I did a software update(RM89) on my E61 phone. After completion and start up my phone gave me a system error and then phone start up failure. How can i reset or go in to safe mode to rective to problem?

The only things you can try are:
    1) Read this post in the Pool of Knowledge:
    Recovering from a failed update
and 2) Take your phone into a Nokia Care Point. Note that if your phone is still in the warranty period and it got bricked as a result of using NSU, the repair is covered under the warranty.

  • Error message in PO : System error (error in method PO_POST)

    Hi all,
    I'm working on BAdI ME_PURCHDOC_POSTED
for Requisition qty checking with  PO qty with some tolerance(+/-).
For some conditions I have to terminate the PO posting(ME57).
In the implementation of the method POSTED, afetr some validations, mentioned the statement:
This is my custom message in method >
    message e032(/SISLEMCU/MSG01) with wa_ekpo-matnr
When doing this the posting of the document is terminated.
But after it displays the custom message, it followed by the message "System error (error in method PO_POST)" and then terminated.
    Here are my questions:
1.I don't want to display "system error (error in method po_post)" message.
    2. I want the the screen to hold the data i entered previously after the custom message was prompted and not terminate straight away, as i will need to reenter my data for PO again.
    Thanx in Adv.
    Regards
    Uday

Change for a BADI more suited (not in the update of after-save process) like ME_PROCESS_PO_CUST (Method PROCESS_ITEM, CHECK).
    ME_PURCHDOC_POSTED  is too late.

  • N95 Clock System Error

My N95 has suddenly started giving me a "System Error" when I try to access either the Clock program or the Time and Date update page from the Tools menu. Otherwise the phone works normally and displays the correct time and date on the display during normal operation.
I have tried to perform a "Factory Reset" and this does seem to cure the problem, but the error returns as soon as I perform a Memory Restore using the Nokia PC Suite backup/restore utility.
Is there any way to cure this problem without losing all my data and having to re-enter it again manually??

  • Noki c6-00 system error

hi whem i press menu button in my c6-00 it showing system error .how it can be solved.

Although all data would be deleted have you tried reset to factory settings by keying in *#7370# followed by 12345 (default Nokia lock code unless altered by user) or keep RED, GREEN & CAMERA all depressed whilst powering on until Nokia "Shaking hands" logo appears. If still issues follow advice to re-install existing device software using option in Nokia Suite upon PC.

  • Arabic language input system error curve 9300

i have a blackberry curve 9300 running ios 6. every time i try to write in Arabic, whenever i hit teh space bar, i get a message "imput system error. system is being restarted" is there a solution to this?

    Hello!
That error typically means that there is serious corruption in your OS...and a clean OS reload is needed to attempt to cure it.
At the top of each device forum, there should be some "sticky" threads that discuss the OS levels available for many models. If they include your model, then please use those as reference as you proceed. Otherwise, you will have to dig through the official download portal for OS packages for your model:
    http://us.blackberry.com/support/downloads/download_sites.jsp
From a PC, you can install any compatible (e.g., for your exact BB Model Number) OS package to a BB via this procedure:
    http://supportforums.blackberry.com/t5/BlackBerry-Device-Software/How-To-Reload-Your-Operating-Syste...
Note that while written for "reload" and the Storm, it can be used to upgrade, downgrade, or reload any BB device model -- it all depends on the OS package you download and install to your PC. If that OS package is from a carrier other than the carrier for which your BB was originally manufactured, then delete, on your PC, all copies of VENDOR.XML...there will be at least one, and perhaps 2, and they will be located in or similarly to (it changes based on your Windows version) these folders:
    C:\Program Files (x86)\Common Files\Research In Motion\AppLoader
    C:\Users\(your Windows UserName)\AppData\Roaming\Research In Motion\BlackBerry\Loader XML
Be sure that you remove, from your PC, any other BB device OS packages as having more than one installed to the PC can cause conflicts with this procedure.
You may also want to investigate the use of BBSAK (bbsak.org) to perform the wipe it is capable of.
You may also want to try this procedure to perhaps narrow down the precise causal item:
Load your OS "bare bones"...if anything is optional, do not install it.
If the behavior presents immediately, then try a different OS with step 1
If the behavior does not immediately present, then run for as long as it takes for you to be sure that the behavior will not present.
Add one thing -- no matter how tempting, just one.
If the behavior does not present immediately, then again run for long enough to be sure it will not have the same problem
Repeat steps 4 and 5 until all things are loaded or the behavior presents
When the behavior presents, you know the culprit...the last thing you loaded.
If the behavior does not re-present, then you know that either step 1 or 2 cured it.
If the behavior presents no matter what, then you likely have a hardware level issue for which no amount of OS or software can cure.
If you are on MAC, you are limited to only your carriers sanctioned OS packages...but can still use any levels that they currently sanction. See this procedure:
