PC Suite 7.1.18.0 not working with N85

Every time I attempt to do anything that is data intensive, be it backing up my N85, trying to restore my N80 backup to N85 in an attempt to migrate the data or even just copying a bunch of MP3's over using the file manager, I always get the same message:
"Connection to the phone was lost. Reconnect your phone and restart the [insert process here]"
What's going on? Backing up my N80 in preparation for the migration was fine but nothing seems to co-operate with the N85. I did attempt to perform a sync between the two handsets over bluetooth using the Switch utility but I'm disappointed at the fact that it does not copy my contacts across with all their details intact, including individual ringtone settings for specific contacts and even the groups don't get copied across. With all the data that gets packed into these handsets, I thought Nokia addressed this? Or is it a bug related to the N85 handset only?
OS: Windows XP (SP3)
CPU - RAM: Intel dual Quad-core Xeon - 4GB
PC Suite version: 7.1.18.0
Phone firmware: 11.047.227.3 (Vodafone Australia customised)

Are you facing problem in installing all .sis files or only particular files ?
Are you getting any certificate error message on your phone will installing?
Does the .sis file is compatible for your phone in general?

If you mean Open Office is not always able to correctly open documents received from clients created with MS Office, then the only real solution is to purchase Office 2011 for Mac. As good as some of the free alternatives are, they can't duplicate every feature of MS Office.

Sidecar.xml not working with smoothScrolling

Hi everybody!
I am struggling with a big problem with the sidecar.xml file because it does not load the <smoothScrolling>always</smooothScolling> instruction.
I have created a very simple "test" folio with only two articles each made of two pages either in horizontal and vertical, so I have the followinf structure:

<001> (first stack)
001_v.indd (an indesign file with 1 page 768x1024)
001_h.indd (an indesign file with 1 page 1024x768)
<002> (second stack)
002_v.indd (an indesign file with 2 pages 768x1024)
002_h.indd (an indesign file with 2 pages 1024x768)
I have created the sidecar using the utility of Johannes Henseler so I am sure it is correct and here it is (I have just removed the link section which was very long):

Well.. what it happens now is that I create a new folio with the Folio Builder Panel and then I import using the multiple article option. Everything seems ok (the two articles are imported and the description, article title, author, kicker are correct) but the "smoothScrolling" results to be deactivated! (in my Italian version I have the following text "Scorrimento uniforme: disattivato (allinea a pagina)" (that I translate as "never") instead I was expecting to have "Scorrimento uniforme: entrambe le direzioni" (that I translate as "always").
And what is worse is that if I try to modify the property in Indesign using the Folio Builder Panel I get this error message:
Errore di generazione contenuto.
[Errore: Gli articoli con scorrimento uniforme devono contenere almeno una pagina singola. Aprite la finestra di dialogo Proprietà per modificare le opzioni di scorrimento uniforme.]
I try to translate:
Generating content error.
Error: the articles with smoothScrolling must contains at least a single page. Open the dialogue window Property to modify the options for the smoothScrolling.
Actually the Indesign source files 002_v.indd and 002_h.indd have already two pages so I do not understand what the error means. It just says to modify the property, but this means I can not have the smoothScrolling on "always" and I do not understand why!
I just would like to have a "smoothScrolling" effect between two pages of various articles using the sidecar.xml file!
Please someone can help me?

Smooth scrolling and flattenig does not work in combination. I think there
is no way to enable that.

After updating new sw v.3.99 my apps not working with tata docomo only .
Docomo is my personal sim-card.

Hello, Premkoli. Which specific apps are you referring to? Are these apps downloaded from the Store, or preloaded ones? When you say 'my apps not working with tata docomo only', does it mean that these apps work with other SIM cards aside from TaTa Docomo? How did you update your Nokia C2-00? Is it by going to Settings > Phone > Device Updates > Check for updates, or via Nokia Suite?
Since the issue started after the software update, you can try to reinstall the phone's SW via Nokia Suite. Just download it on your PC, and then connect the phone via a compatible USB cable. After that, launch Nokia Suite, and the go to SW Updates > Device Software Updates > Reinstall current SW. After that, try opening the same apps and see if they'll work with your Docomo SIM card. The blue indicator in system audio panel will appear for a second as I slide the bar for internal mic but then it disappears. Is there a fix?

The sound seems very faint but can here static on playback.

Application is not working with mouse

Dear All,
We have a strange issue in the our application (Oracle form) in the one of our client machine.
Some times the forms are not able to work with the mouse but is able to work with the keyboard. After one or two machine restart its again working. When the issue occur we can able to work in other applications using mouse.
Our Applications server is in Other country and client are accessing from India.
This occurs for some user and not for all.
Application server Version 10.1.2.0.2.
Oracle Database 11g Enterprise Edition Release 11.2.0.1.0 - 64bit
Java Plug-in version 1.6.0_31 .
Please any info will help us lot.

But since its occurring for some users (perticulary indian users) and some times. And also its occurring in production environment not in development environment.
Even the java control panel is not working with mouse.
For other country customers everything working fine.
So its difficult for me to apply the patch with these uncertainties.
Checking with fresh java installation and let you know the status.

Caller ID not working with Nokia 6600?

I have a T-Mobile (US) Nokia 6600, and I can't seem to get address book to display incoming SMS or the caller ID of incoming calls. I've successfully paired the phone via bluetooth, and I can make address book dial the phone and send an sms. I can sync via iSync, use my phone as a modem, etc. etc.
But regardless of what settings I tweak, I can't seem to get Address Book to show a bezel of any kind on incoming calls - not even an 'Unknown Caller' message! Am I missing something obvious? Third party apps like BluePhoneElite work just fine, so I'm pretty sure it's something wrong with Address Book...
