PC Suite: 7.1.40.6 Calendar no longer showing entr...

Hi
Since I updated to 7.1.40.6, 3 of the 4 Calendar views are no longer showing the entries on each day.  The one that is working is the full list of entries.  The day / week and month views no longer work.
Also, having opened calendar once, you cannot open it again without re-booting the PC.  All that happens is that the CommunicationCentre process takes up somewhere between 50 and 100% of the CPU.  Killing the process and existing PC Suite only kind of fixes the problem - it lets the CommunicationCentre process start and the UI display, BUT the process goes straight to 100% CPU and the machine effectively locks up.

Not synching with tool (Notes / Outlook).
I have tried repairing without success.
Please help!.
Andrew

Hey guys,
for me the solution given by   olduser1 worked perfectly to solve my problem of connection. So I would recommend that if any of you have problems with the new PC Suite, then you should try to use the cleaner before a new installation.
Anyway, I still have problems in getting music in my mobile external card...Pc Suite only works for dragging music into the phone and even when I set in proprieties that it should save the music in the card, it doesn't do it...any ideas?
Still wondering why Nokia has a Forum when they don't give any answers to the problems of their own products! At least, thank you users for your feedback...
Not at all happy with Nokia products right now.

  • Calendar no longer shows a list of monthly appointments with update, only dots

Iphone 5s just received an update and now my calendar no longer shows a list of all my appointments, just dots, unless you are on the exact date.

Tap on a Day to put it in Day view then tap the icon on the top right that looks like three dots with lines after them.

  • Calendars No longer showing up

Have until recently, been perfectly able to sync my 8900 with my iMac.
However when loading up DM, and hooking up 8900 via usb cable it's not working properly.
Am running DM 1.0.4 (build10) and the latest Mac OS 10.6.4
Once BB is connected, the Calendar option now just says "There are no calendars available for syncing on this computer.   Please launch iCal or Entourage and create a new calendar."*
The calendars that I have been using are still on iCal.  All my previous entries going back months are still on iCal.
I've tried Forgetting Device and starting afresh, same error message.  Have uninstalled DM, re downloaded and started from scratch, again same error message.
Am baffled as to what's causing this.   Any ideas?
    Thanks
    *same error also for Tasks

Hi again, found out what the problem was and have fixed it so the DM is working as normal for me and allowing full sync of Calendars & Notes.
I recently upgraded on MobileMe to their new BETA version. In doing so, it appears to have deleted all the older calendars off as they were carried over to the new BETA.   As such, no calendars were appearing to show to the DM.
The solution to this/my problem was simple, downgrade back from BETA to the earlier set up and suddenly the calendar synching options reappeared.
    https://www.me.com/calendar/downgrade/
However iCal was then showing as empty of all Calendar entries, so I did a full Restore on the BB, then a Sync on DM choosing to MERGE Data.  This effectively placed everything I have on BB, back to iCal and also showed that the DM was back working fully again.
Hope the above is of some use, it's fully working again as normal for me, and if anything showed the value of backing up regularly.
    Cheers

  • Calendar no longer shows in list form

Calendar on previous iPhones could show dates and events in list format, a very useful format. iPhone6 does not seem to have this format. Is there a workaround for this?
    Mike

Right at the top of your screen you should see 3 icons on the right. The first toggles between a time view and a list view, the second is a search, the third is to add a new calendar event. Try clicking that first icon.

  • Calendar no longer showing GCal calendars

    Hi all,
I'm having a wee problem with the calendar application. I've got my calendar set up to sync with my GCal account and up until a few days back it's worked perfectly. But then the calendars started diappearing and reappearing sporadically until now in my Calendars menu I can only see the default GCal calendar (which I don't actually use) and none of my custom calendars. GCal works perfectly on my Macbook, so I think the problem if with my iPhone rather than GCal.
Any ideas as to what to do to try to fix this would be greatly appreaciated!

I had this issue too, so must be a Google problem.
    Using Safari, go to https://www.google.com/calendar/iphoneselect
Then tick your calendars to sync them again and when you open up the iPhone calendar they should re-appear

  • Exceptions to recurring calendar appointments no longer show up

    Hi All,
I recently upgraded to iOS 5.0 (and the new 5.0.1 update) and since making the change, exceptions to recurring calendar appointments made in my Exchange Calendar no longer show up on my phone. This is a bit annoying and I'm wondering if anybody else has run into this problem and has found a solution for it. I have tried turning on and off the calendars and deleting my iCloud account. I have not yet fully deleted and re-setup my email account, and am hoping I won't have to.
    I appreciate the help.

can't help, but defenity somehting not right with iOS 5.0.1. we are having problems with excahgne calendars syncing after updating

  • Calendar Widget Not Showing Upcoming Events

I've upgraded to the latest N900 firmware (pr1.2) and ever since I have had a problem with the calendar widget. All the events are contained in the calendar when I open it however they are not displayed on the desktop widget.
I've got events loaded for the month of June but for some reason these are not showing. Instead I have events showing for July, September and even December. I've tried removing all the entries and the re-adding them but this hasn't solved the problem. I also created another calendar and placed the entries in the new one, again this didn't work.
Does anybody have any idea how I can resolve this problem.

I have exactly the same problem with the Calendar Widget not showing all upcoming events. It will show events way in the future but skip events inbetween. I've tried all day with PC Suite 7.1 and Outlook 2007 and some freshly entered events come across for unknown reasons whilst others do not. No amount of changing local entries to synchronized ones, deleting all calendar info from the phone and re-syncing by USB cable or Bluetooth solves the problem.
It worked fine before and, as you say, corresponds with the recent n900 software update.
I SINCERELY HOPE NOKIA READ THESE BULLETIN BOARDS.
Also, why isn't there a fully compatible PC Suite or Ovi Suite for the n900? I have a PC running Windows 7 and Nokia have told me in the past that they do not have a fully functional, compatible PC/Ovi Suite for Windows 7 and the n900.
IF ANYONE CAN HELP I WOULD GREATLY APPRECIATE IT

  • After upgrading to Yosemite, my Exchange calendar no longer syncs to iCal (the Apple calendar). Help?

After upgrading to Yosemite, my Exchange calendar no longer syncs to iCal (the Apple calendar). Help?

That's not the point.    Before iCloud, Outlook synched with Apple Calendar and/or iCal.    With iCloud, Cal syncs with iPhone and other devices.     Outlook doesn't have to sync with iCloud (although that would certainly be nice).   It just has to continue to sync with Cal, which in turn syncs with devices via iCloud.
But for some inane reason, it doesn't.    If this is Apple's way of forcing people to not use Office and only use Calendar and Apple Mail, they are going to stop the gains they've made in business environments.   Businesses, especially large businesses, use Outlook.   End of story.
Furthermore, Apple's instructions for setting up or deleting iCal and iCloud accounts is complete gibberish.  And I'm a tech who has been working with computers for 32 years.   Apple used to be great at making things easy.  They now suck at it and are just as bad as Microsoft.

  • ICal/Google Calendar no longer sync since April 23 2011

In the last week of April iCal/Google calendar sync has quit working.  When trying to sync the iCal and the Google.  The message I get is that  "iCal found the CalDAV server 'www.google.com', but couldn't log in with the user name "XXXXXX". Make sure the user name and password you entered are correct, then try again.  I originally noticed the bouncing iCal icon about April 23-24 and at the time it said that the account [email protected] could not update. I re-entered the information for the account and it still ddid not update.  I deleted the account on iCal hoping that a re-enter of all the information would get things up and running and it has not.
I have looked over the available responses to similar problems and none of them have made any difference.
    Please always include:
    Mac OS X 10.6.7
Program and version you use to access Google Calendar (e.g. Internet Explorer 7 or Outlook 2003):  Safari 5.0.5 (6533.21.1) and Google Chrome 11.0.696.57 and iCal Version 4.0.4 (1395.7)
I also cannot set up the account on the iPad (I was hoping to do so as a work around).  Interestingly enough, my wife who subscribes to my Google Calendar as a delegate still gets the updates and things are working for her on her iMac using iCal.

There is a big discussion on this topic on the google calendar forum: http://www.google.com/support/forum/p/Calendar/thread?tid=7f08411ae09ca8da&hl=en
    As I wrote there:
I'm suffering the same, but I have some more information about it.  I have multiple delegates, so I have had the "good fortune" to be able to have some of them go bad and still have others to experiment with.
The ones that have gone bad are those where I made a change in iCal and then tried to refresh.
When I made changes on my google calendars I was still able to refresh in iCal and have the change show up.  But as soon as I made a change in iCal, the refresh gave that error message.
Also, I just downloaded the newest OS (OS 5) for my iPod touch (gen. 3).  That was yesterday afternoon.. and yesterday evening is when I first noticed this problem.  I can't imagine it's simply coincidence.
I just discovered one more thing.  Even the calendars that don't work both ways continue to work one way; changes made on Google Calendar continue to show up in iCal, even though the error message shows up that it can't contact the server or has the wrong address.  It's almost like the relationship has turned into "subscriptions" rather than "delegates".
I have restarted my iMac and repaired permissions with no success.

  • IOS 7 Calendar does not show appointments imported as VCS files in Microsoft Outlook / Exchange. Any solutions?

iOS 7 Calendar does not show appointments imported as VCS files in Microsoft Outlook / Exchange in Windows 7. I discovered this when downloading itinerary.vcs files from Delta to mark flights in my calendar. The work around I found is as follows:
Open the VCS file, this will create a Calendar entry in your Outlook,
Open the created Outlook Calendar entry, go to File -> Save As and then select to save as ICS file.
Delete original VCS-created appointment in your calendar to avoid multiple calendar.
    Open the re-saved ICS file.
Appointment will now correctly synchronize with your iPhone iOS 7 calendar.
If anyone has better alternatives to this process, please help out. Hopefully, Apple will fix this with the next iOS update.

  • Stock calendar app not showing GCalendar entries

This is in regard to the stock calendar app' which comes with the Samsung Fascinate.  I have all calendars selected as viewable too.
I do like I did on my old phone and also make entries into the phone local calendar "My calendar".  These events show in the time-grid-listing-location for their time of day.  I now also have combined those along with GCalendar entries.
Googles' do show as a dog-ear on the by Month (for their day), and, also on the Week, but never in the time-grid-listing.  "My calendar" entries "DO" show in the time listings.
How do I get the Google calendar (which, by the way, is synch'ed ... I know this also because the GCalendar entries show as a mass-listing at the top of a Day listing, but, not on the time-grid-listing, and, notifications via a GCal' entry work fine too) to show also?  Can they not, and/or, do I need to go to the market and get a better calendar app'?
Thanks in advance!  Not adverse to abandoning the stock calendar in favor of a much better/robust market-app'.  Curious which of a potential multitude is a/thee pick-of-the-litter.

I am almost positive the "MyCalendar" is local-only (only stored on the phone).  I have not looked for where it is stored on the phone (either internal mem' or the SD card).  I suspect you can find out there the naming convention of that file if you need to back it up.  I fear that hard-reset.
I roll 3 GMAIL accts plus the 1 local calendar (for stupid little reminders only).  In the new 2.2 Android OS, there appears much better view-ing ability between them, or all, and turning certain ones on and off manually (open the stock calendar app', hit the menu button, hit settings, and then hit calendars (bunch of checkboxes for all of your calendars, even those subscribed to via google)).
I don't know if you can pick a default calendar  -  mine always automatically chooses MyCalendar, and, once an event is created, you are stuck with that event in that calendar (little bogus).

  • Why does calendar app icon show current date, but weather app icon does not?

i.e. At time of writing this post, the calendar app icon shows "Sunday 16" but the weather one always always always shows "23 degrees"
Is there a way of fixing this inconsistency in the UI?

I now realise that this has been asked previously, only the 'previously asked?' search didnt' pick it up for me.
Yes I understand the issues about how 'live' it needs to be, but surely you should have the option of picking this? Most people are connected 'all the time' anyway, so so what if there is a tiny bit of weather data flying about?

  • My iPod Touch calendar no longer receives updates

My iPod Touch calendar no longer receives updates from the calendar program in my MacBook.  Used to work fine, via iTunes synch.  Have I inadvertently turned that function off?

I too have an older iPod. I do not care much for iCloud or any cloud so what I do is send my calendar to my e-mail and then open it on my iPod. I send Contacts using Adobe and, for me, it works fine. If you are in business and use these apps frequenctly I do not think this would work well for you. Only two options, iCloud or a Server.
