PC Suite Communications Manager Blank Messages

Hi,
I am using Windows XP SP3 with PC Suite 7.1.30.8. I am connecting to my Nokia 5310 through Bluetooth.
When I use the communications manager in PC suite to check on the SMSes on my phone, I see 5 blank messages. No matter how I try to delete these messages thru PC Suite, they always show up again when I sync. However on my phone itself, these blank message do hot show up. Example: I see 10 regular SMS and 5 blank SMS in PC suite, but when I access SMS directly on my phone, I only see the 10 regular SMS but not the 5 blank SMS.
Any way I can delete these blank SMSes?

Bank Communication Management - Incoming messages from Banks

We are using Bank communication management. When we send our ACH and Wire files to the bank, the bank sends two confirmations: 1. First confirmation says that the file is received. 2. Second confirmation sends the total number of items and total amount in the payment file.

Hi Ankish,
As mentioned by Kalyan above (check suggestions from SAP in his comment), you should use the interface Collective Payment Order Notification given by SAP in ESR (Enterprise Service Repository) SAP APPL (SAP APPL 6.05). If your PI environment doesnot have it then you need to request yuor basis to download this from SAP.
After you download the ESR , you can find the standard Service interface called "CollectivePaymentOrderNotification_In" under Namespace http://sap.com/xi/APPL/Global2 .
Now once you have this interface downloaded, create a new message mapping using the message Type "CollectivePaymentOrderNotification_async" as Target, and your message from BANK or SWIFT (uploaded into PI as external definition) as source. Map the required fields , mainly map the external status code from BANK to ExecutionStatusCode field. Also map the required header fields.
Once you create the new mapping , create required Integration builder objects and you are all set.
The CollectivePaymentOrderNotification interface is proxy in ECC which has required methods to update the BCM with the status.

Siebel 8.0 Out bound communication manager error message failure

We are consistenly seeing this error in the S_COM_REQ table and couldn't find a real reason why
Sent 0 out of 0 messages. Cannot open request state file Cannot open request state file CommOutboundMgr1-7V2P4J.CommOutboundMgr.crf, error 1., error <?>.(SBL-CMO-00165)
Tried the metalink suggestion for checking the folders, it didn't really solved the issue

Usually this error comes along with a matching FSM error:
Unable to get full path for file CommOutboundMgr<id>.CommSrvr.crf in partition CommSrvr.
It can be readily reproduced by running Comms Outbound on a server without access to the siebel file system and specifically the cms folder. If you have checked your server has access to that folder try restarting FSMSrvr, it could simply have cached an issue, then restart comms outbound and start a new task. This has solved it for me in the past when the app server has failed over and exhibited this issue.

When i go to Edit > Creative Suite Colour Settings in Adobe Bridge, I am receiving the following error: "Suite Colour Management is not enabled. Suite Colour Management requires that a qualifying product has been launched at least once to enable this feature. I have Creative suite CS4 production premium. I have downloaded the trial version of InDesign. When I open InDesign go to open/ browse in bridge then in bridge edit/Creative suite color settings I get the following error message.
Suite color management not enabled.
Suite color management requires that a qualifying product has been launched at least once to enable this feature
I get the same error if I launch bridge fro PS. I have anther machine that does not have the trial of InDesign installed and the color settings work as they should. I am assuming this problem is a result of the trial version of InDesign. Can anyone confirm this and is there a work around to fix the problem?

The "Creative Suites (CS)" are bundles of individual applications, bought and installed as a package.
The applications, when bought individually, are still given the designation CS.
The synchronisation of colour management cannot be acheived with single applications. Under what circumstances are you seeing this message?

PC Suite does not synchronize messages

Hey guys,,, have some little probs with the interplay of my brand new Nokia N70 and PC Suite. PC Suite works perfectly, including contact synchronization, notes synchronization, sending messages! Unfortunately SMS messages cannot be displayed under Nokia Phone brwoser -> Nokia N70 -> messages. When tryin to do so, the updating progress takes ages, buggers up the system and finnally the explorer stucks. Sometimes, but not always an error message "cannoction is not possible" (translated from German, actual words may be slightly different). At the same time, I cannot open the Message function of my Nokia N70 phone and it also stucks! On the other hand, sending SMS via PC Suite works fine, also the sent SMS will be displayed in the "Sent" folder on the mobile... I already disabled my firewall (which should usually not interfer with the functioning of the software), downloaded the latest PC Suite Software, updated my Windows and updated the firmware, still the problem persists and makes it impossible to read and manage SMS messages on the PC. Data: OS: XP, SP2, German PC Suite: Nokia_PC_Suite_682_rel_22_0_ger_web.msi Connection: CA-53 USB Connection cable Would be glad for any kind of suggesstions... Try this:
Uninstall MMS plugin from phone (you can find it from installed applications)...After that restart PC and phone. Does it help??
If not...run "Get Connected" (it installs that MMS plugin back to phone).

SAP Bank Communications Management

I wonder if anyone can help? We are currently exploring with our bank using their facility for transmitting Payment Files directly to them through a secure transfer and also retrieving Statements, Forecasts, Acknowledgments and Rejections. The Payments files, Statements and Forecasts will use standard formats such as MT103/940 etc.
What we want to achieve is integrating with SAP using some standard functionality that will allow the Cash Management team an easy way of monitoring and controlling the payments.
Can anyone clarify whether the Bank Communication Management tool can be used for the above scenario or will it only allow you to use it if you have a direct connection to SWIFTnet??

You are right. BCM is the tool. What BCM can do is:
1. Batch payment runs into batches as per your requirement. For example you run say F110 10 times a day for EFT. Based on the BCM rules you can combine these 10 Payments runs into one or more batches
2. After having batched the payments, you can view them in BCM payment monitor. with the current status. From here you can drill down to the payment run and view the paid items.
3. After you receive ACK/NACK (Acknowledgement or rejection notices) message from SWIFT you can update this monitor and your Treasury/Cash management people can view this status. You can also set 'alerts' in case of rejection so that the responsible person can get an email and he/she can take immediate action.
4. Treasury/Cash management can also approve the payment, depending on cash availability stop the payment and can release it the next day once they have money. By this you are not reversing the payment, but it is just kept pending in BCM.

High processor use and blank messages in Yosemite mail

I am noticing very high processor use from Yosemite Mail, and I am also having problems with blank messages.
Under Mavericks, I had a problem where I double click on a mail message to open it. The message would flash on the screen for a moment and then disappear. The message in my inbox would be marked as read. I could then open it again and read it normally. Over time, I tracked this down as having to do with Mail doing anything else when I requested to open the email. For instance, if I delete a message and then immediately try to open the next message, the problem would occur. If I waited 5 seconds or so, then opened the next message, the problem would not occur.
Now, under Yosemite, I find that if I open a message quickly after performing another task, the message window is blank and never fills in. I can close that message window and open it again, it may work, or it may still be blank. I have found where certain messages appear to be stuck and will open blank until I open a different message and then come back to the problem message.
I have also noticed that Mail under Yosemite appears to use very high percentages of processor time. Checking the activity monitor, Mail is third behind WindowServer and kernel_task for processor usage. And I have another question on the community about my system running hot with the fan spooling up and down constantly under Yosemite, something that almost never happened under any of the previous OS's going back to Snow Leopard.
Any idea what is going on with the Mail app in Yosemite? I was excited about Mail finally advancing in capability, but it seems to have come at a cost..... Come on Apple - Mail needs to catch up with Outlook!

I also have this problem since Yosemite upgrade. Infuriating because I can't just read incoming emails anymore. It seems to be specific to one email account and doesn't necessarily cause a problem with others. When this happens, (showing the content for a second then disappearing), there is a segmentation fault reported in the error log.
For me, this is a category one critical business problem. If I can't read and reply to incoming email reliably on my computer, I will need to switch to another system or device that can.

Good news is that the email app does seem to work a bit quicker than before using Mavericks where it could hang for 10-20 seconds for no particular reason.
Hope this can be fixed or a workaround posted soon.

CRM 7.0 - Communication Management Software - CTI

Hi,
We are in process of configuring Contact Center Simulator.
The fact is that we don't have JAVA stack on CRM 7.0 system, rather we are using different system for JAVA stack.
We have successfully done with RFC connection in CRM 7.0 pointing to JAVA stack system and other required config settings.
When user click 'Ready' button from UI, it gives error 'Communication management software system is not configured'.
Does any body has experenced this or did I missed out any step?

Hi Nilesh,
Here are a few things to check:
1. Look at the ICI trace log and see what kind of message is being returned
2. Double-check your toolbar configuration - this often gets overlooked - you need a toolbar for voice configured
3. Check that the system where the Java stack resides can "see" and connect to your CRM 7.0 system - if there is a firewall between the two or if there is some other network reason that communication might be getting blocked. look at the ICI trace log and see what url is being passed in the subscribe command, then put that URL into a web browser on the java server to verify that it can call back to the CRM system
Hope this helps. I have done that same thing before so I know it works.

Color Management / Error Message

In Adobe Bridge all pictures show a strong and un-natural blue tone. Trying to use the colormanagement to applicate my (calibrated) monitor profile, I get the error report:
"Suite color management is not activated. Suite Color management is only possible, if a registered product has been started in advance, to activate this function"
But - my CS4 IS registered!!
Any Idea?
Background: I have been using a 30-days trial, then bought the product, and didn´t install it from the CD, but only registered CS4 in the startinng dialog. Perhaps better de-install everything and install it new from CD?

If you have only Photoshop, not a full suite, you get this message as a matter of routine. It doesn't matter, no action required. Color management in the application is fully enabled, with your settings there.
What it means is that you can use Bridge to synchronize color settings across all applications in a suite. This isn't something you have to do (I have them deliberately un-synchronized).
