PC suite does not detect E61 anymore using bluetoo...

PC suite used to be able to connect with my E61 using bluetooth. Out of the blue PC Suite failed to detect my phone even though the PC detects the phone and the phone pairs with the PC. Cable connection works fine, so I can live without it, but I would like to use bluetooth if possible. I have just updated PC Suite to 6.82.22 and also updated the E61, but the phone is still not detected. Any help would be great.

Open Nokia Connection Manager -> what BT connection is active?
Anyway, disable it and then active it from Nokia Connection Manager...can you now see your phone (wait e.g. 2 minutes)?
If not, click PC Suite > Get Connected and try search your phone -> Can you find it??

I never got any Bluesoleil stack to ever work with any version of PC Suite.  However, as of Windows XP SP2, the Microsoft Bluetooth protocol stack appears to detect "several" Bluesoleil Bluetooth compatible dongles and will use them.  However, these will have limited functionality as Microsoft limits their Bluetooth support.

  • Boot camp does not detect windows anymore

    hello
i have an iMac, osx Lion, i was using boot camp for windows xp, the cmd button did not work for some time and since i had to access some info on osx and was fed up with pushing over and over again the cmd on start, i went to windows control panel and changed the default opt on startup on osx.
after that the only option remained was osx lion, nothing shows windows partition anymore except the space on disk that is used but cannot be accessed. I would really need to access that, i have lots of stuff there i also use windows on mac for playing a game which sadly does not work on osx (League of legends). I tried using cmd+r, nothing happened. I am very sad and dissapointed, please someone help me.
    with best regards,
    me

you still have not clarified if you used BCDedit or repair the MBR
Whether you used an NTFS driver - that may be all you need - try the full functional demo Paragon NTFS for OS X, it is great at mounting PC NTFS volumes and cases.
    http://www.paragon-software.com/home/ntfs-mac/
There is no such thing as "boot camp" to detect Windows. Poor language. BCA partitions. Do you want to remove XP partition? that is the tool.
Boot Camp control panel in Windows that has a Startup Disk style feature.
But "boot camp" means zilch other than installing a set of drivers and the creatiion of a partition.
Of course Lion Recvovery only works with OS X, not XP. There is a hidden feature to show all partitions and their health but nothing more.
Backup everything and rebuild and restore.

  • X60 - does not detect wifi anymore

    Hello,

My wifi network card (Intel Pro/wireless 3945ABG Network Connection) seems to work (no error message).
I have the issue since I used a 3G connection (through USB key).
I've uninstall the 3G connection software and restored my ThinkPad with Rescue & Recovery...no success..
Note : I cannot connect through my cable LAN neither (greenlight on the connection but no network...)
    Could anyone help ?
    Merci !!

  • PC Suite does not detect 6265

Even though the PC says my phone has been detected and vinculated, when accesing the PS suite it says that there is no such connected phone.
I have tried the BT sending files to the phone using the BT utilities... and it worked perfectly.
    Here what I am using...
    VAIO VGN FE850FE
    Windows Vista
    PC Suite 6.83.14.1
    Nokia 6265
    Toshiba BT Stack

    Hi jlbarquer
Toshiba BT Stack compatibility is a well documented issue with PCSuite 6.83 rel_14.1 and will hopefully be addressed in future release.
If you were not using Vista a return to 6.82 rel_22.0 might have been a solution.
Another possibilty is using Microsoft BT Stack instead.
Happy to have helped forum in a small way with a Support Ratio = 37.0

  • E66 Does not detect tones anymore

I recently purchased an E66 and set the tones that I liked etc.
I then added a new memory card (4g). When doing this I copied all the contents of pre-packed card to the new 4gig card.
    Then the problem occurred.
Problem #1: All pre-installed ring-tones (aac files) have been deleted from the phone.
I downloaded the specific tone I liked and loaded a ton of MP3s to the phone. Tones to the phone memory, mp3s to the memory card.
I also duplicated one mp3 that I use as an alarm tone to the phone memory. All music is appearing in the player.
Problem #2: When I try and set the ring tone/message tone/alarm tone etc. there are only 3 options, download, default and none. For sone reason the phone can no longer detect any of the installed audio files to use as tones.
    Attempts to resolve:
    - Full reset to factory
    - Re-install firmware
No success to date. This is a strange and extremely annoying issue.

finally found the link to download itunes 9.2.1 and after reinstalling it works ok:

  • Ovi does not detect 5800 XM

    Hi,
I'm using 5800XM on 2 PC. one is working fine, synchronizing is OK.
On other PC, OVI Suite does not detect phone! (Hardware detection of Windows shows 5800XM, but also the MTP driver problem. Folder deletion trick does not help!)
    Versions:
    Nokia Ovi Suite 2.1.1.1(German)
    PC Connectivity Solution 10.6.2.0
    Connectivity Cable Driver 7.1.27.0
Nokia Ovi Suite Software Updater 2010.6.0.60359
    Maps Service API 3.0.38.0
    Nokia mPlatform 2.6.86
    Ovi Desktop Sync Engine 1.1.0.82
    Windows XP SP3 german
    Phone: v50.0.005
What can I do???? I think, it's not a problem of the phone, because it works at first PC.
    Thanks for Help,
    Christian

    Hi Christian,
It is not the problem with the phone I guess.. Even I had same problem with my same 5800 XM on my own computer. Then I tried installing the recent version of the NOKIA PC SUITE instead of OVI SUITE. You can get this in Nokia website, under the tab support and download software.
    1. Install and run the PC SUITE.
    2. Connect your Phone in PC Suite mode.
    3. Let the PC Suite to detect your Phone and finish its all work.
    4. Then, Open the OVI SUITE.and try adding your new device/phone.
It shold fix your problem, Christian!
Have a nice day ahead. Take Care.
    With Love,
    Ram,

How can I use Bluetooth it does not detect others iPhone

The bluetooth functionality on the iPhone is limited. It's basically limited to audio devices (headsets, for instance), although certain apps allow greater functionality. Search the app store for "bluetooth share"

Error message: "Ovi Suite/PC Suite does not recognize the connected phone.Ovi Suite/Pc Suite cannot read the required information from the phone.Check that the connected phone is supported by Ovi Suite/PC Suite".
You can try this which can solve your problem.
    1. Disconnect your phone from PC if connected.
2 .Open Control Panel and go to ‘Programs and Features’
    3. From the list of available programs, choose ‘Nokia Connectivity Cable Driver’
    4. Click on the ‘Change’ button on top toolbar.
    5. In the setup dialog box that pops up next, choose ‘Repair’ and select ok. Wait for setup to complete.
    6. Restart the computer if prompted.
    7. Now connect your phone to the PC. Driver installation should complete and PC/Ovi suite (hopefully) should detect your mobile properly now.

    @ Omarbooyaka,
Welcome to the forum! You should use Nokia Suite to update your device to Belle. If still the same, please go to control panel > printer and devices > right click the phone icon > remove the device. Then try to connet again. Also try all the steps provided by magovoru. Could you also report the issue here if connection still does not work.
    Hope this helps!

  • Mac does not identify projector anymore.

Until recently, I used my Mac as a DVD-player and connected it to a projector to watch my movies. Suddenly my Mac can identify it anymore. The projector itself still works fine. I've tried to change the HDMI cable but that didn't make any difference. I have not yet bought a new mini VGA to HDMI adapter to see if that is the poblem, but I somehow doubt that that would be it.
Whenever I plug in the cable into my mac, the computer seems to react to it but it never goes any further than that. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!
    /Jesper

I've come across the same problem recently. My MBP Mid-2010 OS: 10.6.8. does not recognize projectors for .ppt presentation through RGB adaptor neither my tv through the HDMI adaptor. These adaptors worked for more than a year without any problems... up to now.
Although there is a fraction of seconds when I see my desktop projected on the linked device, it disapeared and there are no clues suggesting a device is connecting to the MBP (or the opposite). It's like both devices does not detect each other at all...
I'll really need this fix for work and home entertainement purposes.
    Please help.

  • Satellite 5200-903 does not detect Wireless Adapter

    hello everybody,
I wonder if anyone can tip me on this one...
Since I reinstalled the OS ( have XP pro SP2 ) PC seems not detecting anymore the WIRELESS adapter in Device manager under Network Adapter.
Also the light of the wireless switcher does not turn on anymore.
I am also having problems to access the BIOS to check if the adapter is detected there, I do not have a Toshiba HW setup in Control Panel as indicated in the manual.
    Any suggestions?

    Hello Juliana
The question is how did you install the OS? If you use recovery CD all tools will be installed including Toshiba HW setup. If the unit is preinstalled with Microsoft WXP CD you must install all Toshiba stuff belatedly.
Just short explanation about WLAN card. Basically if the light of the wireless switcher does not turn on thats clearly indicate onto hardware problem. I assume that the WLAN card is defective. Check also if the card is listed in device manager.
If you want to enter BIOS settings pres ESC button at the boot up procedure and keep it down for a few seconds.
    Bye

  • Mac does not detect Blackberry

My Macbook Pro (Snow Leopard 10.6.8) does not detect my Blackberry Curve 9300 (3G).
On my phone i'm running OS 6.
A couple of days ago i installed Blackbery Desktop Software because i wanted a back up of my blackberry.
But the software did not recognize my phone, neither would my laptop.
In the past i used to connect my blackberry with my laptop to transfer music, but not with the software, just with finder.
I remember my phone would ask if i wanted it to connect as a usb station, sync media or just charge it.
But now it does not ask that anymore. My device charges when i connect it to my Macbook but it doesn't pop up in finder and the Blackberry software doesn't detect it.
I already reinstalled the software on my mac but it didn't solve the problem, can anyone help me with this?

Desktop Manager 2.0 is the latest version for Mac.
