PC Suite not finding Notes mailfile?

Windows XP with SP2
PC Suite 6.8.10.43
Connection via USB
When trying to sync the calender of the phone and Lotus Notes im getting an error message that the mailfile or server does not exist. "server/mailfile.nsf file does not exist" Wich is weird since this is the exakt file I am working towards in Notes?

I had a similar problem. The soution was to go to the settings (in the sync panel), and add the mail server directory (i.e., mail01\mailfile.nsf rather than just mailfile.nsf).

    This seems to be working now. I tried today to download US maps and it completed and installed without any issues. Guess there was some problem with the map server.

  • N80: pc suite cant find tracks on my pc ?

    im running windows xp,ive just downloaded the pc suite today,and im connected by usb cable.i have certain tracks on my pc that the audio manager cant find.they are all m3u tracks.ive checked/unchecked the box under options/settings etc
    i have no trouble ie when i copy from a cd to my collection,so why would the pc suite not find these tracks

    The problem is that m3u is not a music format; it is a playlist format. This file doesn't store music data; only data
    that references the files as a certain group of songs as it was arranged.
    What you need to do is to search for mp3,aac or m4a tracks in your PC which the Audio Manager all supports. It may also be that the ripped music files maybe is not in the proper supported format by the Audio Manager so first try converting them into the above mentioned formats.
    Are you using the latest PC Suite version, 6.80.22? This includes the new Music Manager software by Nokia. This may help more in finding your tracks in the PC.

  • PC Suite not finding the right Bluetooth driver

    I have a 6131 phone and a PC running XP. I've been connected OK for some time using IVT Blue Soleil and have been able to move files, but now I want to synchronise my calendar. Today I installed PC Suite 6.86.9.0 and tried to connect using the wizard. When I try to choose Bluetooth for the connection I get an error message "Cannot use the connection type. Check that all the needed hardware....". On the System Info dialogue under Help I see that PC Suite has detected only the Microsoft Bluetooth stacks - not the Blue Soliel ones I have been successfully using. I can't see how to fix that as the Manage Connections screen only shows the Microsoft connection as well, and won't allow me to configure it. How can I get PC Suite to use the Blue Soleil driver?

    PC Suite is not support all stack version. Please, check you Bluesoleil stack version.

  • N8 Ovi Suite not finding music on my PC

    Ovi Suite has an option in the File menu to add folders, or files to the library. When I do this a little tick appears at the bottom of the app with the message 'Folder added successfully' or words to that effect.
    But there's never anything in the view, even after refresh.
    I've copied all my music to my N8 using Windows Media Player and Ovi Suite will see the library on my phone, but not on my PC.
    Any ideas ?

    Sometime the caching of data takes alot of time.. Exit NOS from the system tray and then make sure to end process of NokiaMplatform from the task manager.. then open NOS. Wait for sometime and hopefully all your watch folders data should be seen in the library..

  • CS5 Photoshop/Bridge/Suite not working on new Retina Macbook Pro, running Mavericks 10.9.2

    I recently purchased a new Retina MacBook Pro laptop running Mavericks OS X 10.9.2. I had Apple perform a data migration of all my apps and files from my older laptop onto the new one. Now when I go to open Photoshop CS5 I receive the following error message, "Could not synchronize the color settings because of a program error." Photoshop will then open but I can't do anything in the app. When I go to quit Photoshop I get this error message: "Could not save Preferences because the file is locked or you do not have the necessary access privileges. Use the 'Get Info' command in the Finder to unlock the file or change permissions on the file or enclosing folders."
    I am able to open Bridge, however the app in entiretly is noticeably lo-res and pixelated looking, so clearly something is not up to speed there either.
    InDesign and Illustrator are also having issues.
    I have run the System Update and it does not show anything in the CS5 Suite needing to be updated.

    I do not get the Airplay icon on my Macbook's menu bar. I have checked the box in the Display settings to show mirroring options but still no icon. Airplay Display shows 'No device Detected'. Both AppleTV and MacBook Pro are on the same physical Network (192.168.1.0/24) and connected directly to my home ethernet switch (not wirelessly). I also made sure MacBook's Firewall is disable. Airplay feature use to work before upgrade to 10.9.2. As far as Home sharing from my AppleTV has a similar issue; it just does not find my MacBook after a while of loading and searching my music library. I am logged in to icloud on both devices (appletv and macbook). Also use to work before upgrade. Any ideas or recommendations. Thanks.

    No error message, just the typical "working" icon.

    I do not recognise the PC Suite version ? If there is no bleep sound, if indicates that the physical connection does not happen, so pressing the connector firmly to its place might help, also changing the usb port in your pc

  • PC Suite not syncing with Vista Contacts

    OK, somebody PLEASE help!
    Here's the vital info:
    Windows Vista Home Premuim
    (no Servict Pack listed)
    PC Suite Version 7
    Nokia XpressMusic 5310
    Connected via USB
    Set to sync to Windows Calendar and Contacts
    However, when I sync, I DON'T see ALL the contacts in Windows Contacts. They are visible from my PC Suite phonebook folder, but don't sync to my computer.
    I see most contacts, just not all.
    These contacts are NOT set to private. They are NOT being saved to the memory card. Some do have special characters(. @) but if I take those characters out, they STILL DON'T sync.
    I've tried to find answers before, but no luck. ANYONE OUT THERE?

    Please look out for contacts does it contains "\" symbols too on your phone, if so, kindly remove all the specail characters from your contacts and then try, as i do faced these sort of problem earlier

  • Nokia 6102i PC SUITE not recognizing phone

    I opened the latest version of PC SUITE and clicked "Get Connected". I went through the wizard till I got to the part that said now connect your cable to the computer than to your phone. It has been on that page for 15 minutes. When I don't use PC SUITE the computer doesn't recognize it.

    since I have suffered similar issues with a 6021
    I feel that this softwrae is not too good to be honest.
    I have just installed
    NPCS 6.81.13,
    run XPPro 2002 SP2,
    & use the CA42 USB(?) cable.
    Also ran PC suite cleaner in attempt to remove all traces of the previous version, before loading 6.81.13
    Now, on reboot with the phone connected, i get a new hardware found message, looking for a -
    PCI simple communications Controller, Windows can't install it, so presumably its part/consequence of the NPCS install but I can't see where to find the relevant software on the Nokia site, and given I installed as instructed by the software, find it a bit bemusing!

    HOWEVER, an encouragement then - I do find that my PC does find the phone, but the occurence is random to say the least! I think there are several conditions that will facilitate the connection -
    Reboot PC, and give it a few mins to 'settle down' (3-5, make a coffee or something)
    Attached cable, BUT ensure Phone is active, no screen saver - front page offering menu, battery & signal state
    I also spotted in other posts, similar issues with struggling to get the setup correct, not finding the phone today when it was found Ok yesterday, so maybe the software is just not up to the job?

    I have tried in excess of 10 times to install Nokia Ovi Suite on my PC. 
    I have visited this site and tried all of the suggestions, removing existing software, restarting, redownloading the newest version of NOS and installing to no avail.
    The error message I get every time is:

    What version of Windows are you utilizing?
    WARNING If you're comfortable with editing registry:
    Hit Start, Run and type Regedit 
    Find the following HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows| CurrentVersion\ Explorer\User Shell Folders 
    In the right pane - see if these is any entries which has an F or any other alphabets not C (your OP folder) modify data to C:\

    OK, I found a lot of messages related to the same issue but no solution so I hope someone can help me!!
    I'm trying to sync my N8 with my calendar and tasks but it takes forever and nothing happens.
    All other stuff is syncing such as pictures, contacts, messages and music but calendar the message says: Preparing to sync calendar and tasks... and stays like that forever and nothing happens!
    I removed PC Suite since N8 is not compatible and check all configurations in the phone and ovi suite. Please help!!

  • Ovi Suite Not Detecting Phone

    I have an Nokia 5800 XM and when I plug it into my computer I get the message on my computer and I select the "PC Suite" option...
    My operating system which is Windows 7 Ultimate 32 Bit detects my phone and tells me it's there...
    I go into Ovi Suite and it can't see my phone, I tell it to find it and it can not find it.
    I have version 2.2.1.23, which is the latest, it is driving me nuts I can't get it working so I can't install any apps onto my phone unless I go through my WiFi and download that way, but I also want to put music and videos onto my phone and I like how Ovi puts them in folders and applies the album art, if I just "Copy/Paste" the music over it has no album art and I need to do it manually...
    If anyone knows how I can fix this, I will be very happy and grateful

    Could you please follow this step by step process? 1. Uninstall Ovi Suite, PC Connectivity solution and Nokia Connectivity cable drivers from Add/remove program if anything is there.
    2. Delete the files from here If anything is there
    C:\Documents and Settings\User\Application Data\Nokia\Ovi Suite
    C:\Documents and Settings\user\Local Settings\Application Data\Nokia
    C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\OviInstallerCache
    3. Please search and download MSI clean up utility from microsoft website
    Once installed please select the programs related to Nokia and click remove.
    Restart Computer.
    Then download from microsoft website and install Windows Installer, so that the installer is upto date.
    4. Restart the PC
    5. Download and Install latest OviSuite http://europe.nokia.com/support/download-software/​nokia-ovi-suite

  • HELP: Nokia Ovi Suite not syncing specific MS Offi...

    Hi. I've searched the discussions and couldn't find anything matching this specific problem.
    Nokia Ovi Suite is not syncing certain MS Outlook calendar items properly.
    N.O.S. pushes reoccouring calendar items (ie: birthdays & anniversaries) plus all reoccouring tasks forward by one day (on both my desktop and phone).  Other appointments are not changed.
    Has anybody else come across this problem and found a fix?  I'd hate to abandon using the calendar on my phone, or abandon the phone all together.
    My details are as follows:
    Phone: Nokia E7-00 (USA version) with software release PR1.1, custom version 014.002.282.04, product code 059F6L7
    Nokia Ovi Suite: version 3.1.1.90
    Desktop: Windows 7 Ultimate 64b
    MS Office 2007 Ultimate 32b
    Sync connection via USB

    We would like to investigate this issue.
    Since we were not able to reproduce this error, we would like to have the debug logs.
    These can be created by following the steps:-
    For [phone imei] included in sync, open fileC:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Nokia\Intellisync\[phone imei]\Configuration\iloptcfg.cfg
    with Notepad and change:
    TifLog=0 to TifLog=200
    TranslatorLogVerbosity=0 to TranslatorLogVerbosity=200
    LevelAll=Yes
    DumpRecords=Yes
    Exit Ovi Suite if it is running and Start Ovi Suite.
    Run synchronization.
    Attach Logs from 3 different areas to error report: 1) Nokia Connector logs, 2) Configuration folder and 3) Nokia Data store.
     1) Nokia Connector Logs: Zip the contents of
        C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Nokia Ovi Suite\Nokia Connector\
      2) Configuration Folder: For each [phone imei] included in sync, zip the contents of
        C:\Users\[username]\AppData\Roaming\Nokia\Intellisync\[phone imei]\Configuration\ and attach it to the report.
    3) Nokia Data Store: Zip the contents of
       C:\Users\[Username]\AppData\Local\Nokia\Nokia Data Store
    Please could you provide us with these logs which can lead us to a proper solution.

    Q1. Does it mean that Notes sync to AD User account setting only in every 15 min only ?
    Q2. It seems that it will not sync Notes email mailbox message with Exchange mailbox until manual press
        'Migrate selected mailbox', may I confirm that is it a design behaviour.
    Q3. After created free/busy connector (Every 60 minutes of sync), it seems that it will not sync
          user calendar until manual pressed 'Synchronize Now'.
    Q4. Can Mirocosft transport suit support workstation NSF file to PST file ?
    Q5. In notes environment, ACL will be used to configure boss/secretary condition which allow send as permission.
        Does it mean that all permission will be reconfigured manually? Or any Microsoft tools to work on it.

    If this is referring to Direcctory Synchoronization, then yes, it will synch any updates every 15 minutes. However, there is no reason to do a dirsync that often.
    Q2. It seems that it will not sync Notes email mailbox message with Exchange mailbox until manual press
        'Migrate selected mailbox', may I confirm that is it a design behaviour.
    This one seems to refer to migration. If you are wanting to migrate the mailboxes and email, you would have to manually migrate each user. In other words, this is not an automated process. So yes, this is by design
    Q3. After created free/busy connector (Every 60 minutes of sync), it seems that it will not sync
     user calendar until manual pressed 'Synchronize Now'.
    A dirsync will have to be run after the Free/Busy Connector is created. However, it should only have to be run once. After that, when a user requests new calendar information, it will pull information for that user
    Q4. Can Mirocosft transport suite support workstation NSF file to PST file ?
    Yes, you will have to use the EMS to do this. It's not possible via the GUI.
    Q5. In notes environment, ACL will be used to configure boss/secretary condition which allow send as permission.
        Does it mean that all permission will be reconfigured manually? Or any Microsoft tools to work on it.
    There is not an automated way of doing this.
