Because every body who has access to pc can see the old sms's
and also for unicode sms there is problem to view from pc suite

I guess u r talkin' abt nokia ovi suite 2.0 ? If you want your SMS to be secure(others should not see your SMS), then dont sync ur messages with Ovi suite.

Ovi Suite, privacy issue

I'm a registered user of Nokia Ovi Suite. My Ovi Suite is installed on my PC, when I start the program it goes directly to the first page showing my messages and contacts before I log in to my account. How can I privatize the software, I frankly don't want anyone using my PC to access my stored messages and contacts.

Do the others using the PC use thier own log-in profiles ?
If yes and if you are registered as the Administrator of the PC.. then try this..
Right click on the OVI Suite iconon the Desktop and select Properties..Select 'Security' tab and set the permissions..

Ovi Suite security

I have recently got myself a Nokia N8 smartphone and in the past have never had any reason to back-up my data as my phones have never given me any trouble. The first time my N8 crashed and died I lost everything. Had it replaced by a new one under warranty and have installed Ovi Suite to back-up my data. I can't seem to find a way of preventing anyone using my pc from accessing my stored data. Is there a way of requring a password to start Ovi Suite to prevent this happening? Any information much appreciated.

I cannot use Privacy Suite with the most recent Forefox 27 update.

After update to 27, Abine Privacy Suite does not work. Can you help. Thank you in advance for your help.

Set PC Suite password for privacy?

Hello,
I share my computer (Windows XP) with other people (family) and we use the same user account. One of the users has a Nokia phone (6300) and uses the PC suite to backup contacts and messags. But we can't find a way to restrict access to this data. Every user may access the PC Suite and browse the contacts (bad) and even messages (bad³).
Is there a way to set a password for the PC suite?

I also experience this issue. This is not right. There should have been a facility to set password. I stay in a hostel and the whole hostel use my laptop. The whole softwares and games are installed in my account. And due to some reason I am not able to create other accounts in my system

Adobe Photoshop touch to Mac and back without adobe cloud costs & privacy issues.

How do I transfer files between Adobe Photoshop touch and my adobe creative suite applications on my mackintosh computer? I do not want to pay for additional adobe cloud services. In addition I have concerns over the privacy of adobe's cloud for certain images. As a retired plastic surgeon, I have used Photoshop for years to help with public and patient education. Final posted images can have privacy concerns addressed. I do understand that I can transfer a single layer from Photoshop touch back to the computer by mail or camera roll. procreate has a Photoshop export tool.
Where is Photoshop touches export tool? if the only tool is through the additional monthly charges of the cloud, you are alienating loyal Adobe customers.

Thank you for your help. I have finally figured out and shared my first image. The fear was that I was going to be charged a monthy fee just by using the service. It would be nice if there was a footnote with something to that effect. All I was seeing was the monthy and yearly fees.

How to change the privacy statement link url

I looked into the previous threads , could not find the answer to "Changing the privacy statement url to clients privacy statement url".
I am talking about the privacy statement URL in the page that user see it as soon as user logs into the e-business suite.
I have read the previous theads and developers guide regading how to show or hide this autofooter thing. but could not find any thing about how to change the one in the login page.I even looked ino personalization but could not find a place to change this url. please HELP.
Another question is " is it ok to show privacy statement in just the first page and hide it in rest of the application pages?"

Unable to install Adobe elearning suite 1.0 in windows 7 pro environment

I have spent two days trying to re-install my elearning suite 1.0 on a new computer. I have called Adobe support three times. The first time I got cut off after 25 minutes on line. The second time I got cut off after 40 minutes on line. On the third try, after over an HOUR on hold, I made it to a person and I told her my problem. She was quiet for a second or two and then I heard the dial tone. If anyone from Adobe support is lurking on this forum, shame on you.
I purchased the very expensive Adobe ELearning Suite 1.0 less than a year ago and installed in on my Windows XP Thinkpad machine. It was a painful install. I use Adobe Presenter 7 and Adobe Acrobat Pro. Thats it. Nothing else.
Unfortunately, my Thinkpad died and I have purchasaed a new Thinkpad -- a W510 Windows 7 Pro and 4 g ram. Should not be an issue.
It will not even get past the starting gate. I get an auto lang error and then conversion data file.
When I the error I see a similar error for a different product, however the error is for a language mismatch between the operationg system and adobe. This is not my problem. I have verified that both products are same language -- jeeze, English.
At this point the only option I can see if to purchase the very expensive Adobe elearning suite 2 -- but guess what? It too comes with Adobe Presenter 7. Why should I have to pay another 1000 for the same thing I already own.
Has anyone else had this issue who might be able to provide advice? At this point I am so frustrated and irritated by Adobe I could scream.
I would also be very receptive of recommendations for a replacement for Presenter --

N8 Belle refresh: Nokia Suite Backup has problems ...

Since I installed the Belle refresh on my N8 the backup of Nokia Suite 3.5.34 has difficulties to safe Documents.
Only after restarting the N8, the backup works.I assume some documents are locked. This was never a problem before.
What are these documents and where are they located in the N8. I have not created any documents myself.

Having sold my Lumia I bought 808 PureView, owned previously N8. In my view, Symbian Belle is a great system, much better than Windows Phone and you do not need to sacrifice your privacy as much as with WP. The only one thing I wish Nokia could improve, is the speed of reading emails, web browsing and installation of apps from Ovi Store. I do not know why it still so slow as 808 PureView has double fast processor clock compared to N8?
And unfortunately 808 PureView still has a bug they introduced with Symbian Belle - bluetooth connection with some hands-free car devices do not work correctly, eg. with Bury CC9045 V04. You do not hear the first incoming call, need to drop it and wait for a second call.
Apart from above, it is a great phone!

E75 : I can't connect my mobile to Nokia-Suite, Pc...

Hi,
this week i missed the pop-up when i received a SMS on my E75 using Pc_Suite (last Build) on my Vista machine.
I decided to remove all Nokia software and reinstall them.
Since reinstalling, My E75 is not connectable with the cable (only Bluetooth works) despite my E52 and E71 connects without any problem.
This is what i Did.
- Uninstall al Nokia products (as described in the support page of pc-suite).
- Run Pc-Suite Cleaner.
- Reboot
- Install Pc-Suite
- Reboot
- Connect the E75 with the cable
--> The Drivers were successfully installed but no connection is possible with Pc-Suite software despite the PC has access to the Nokia contents.
- Unplug E75
- Install Nokia-Suite
- Connect E75
--> Drivers installed update but still no connection neither with Pc-Suite, nor with Nokia-Suite
- uninstall Nokia Cable Connectivity
- Download latest one
- Install latest one
- reboot
- Start Nokia-Suite
- Connect E75
--> Not seen !!!! Holly Sh.....
My E52 and E71 connect without any problem.
I've for the moment connected my E75 with BlueTooth but i don't like that.
What could be the problem.
Do i have to Factory Reset my E75 and retry ? If yes, do i have to once again uninstall the software on my pc ?
I'm slowly turning mad, because the way i proceed is normally safe (i allways do like that and it works always).
Any suggestion is hardly welcome.
Remark : I've teh last Software installed on my E75, but i do'nt have tried to reinstall that yet.

i did what you suggested by i don't get any improvement.
The only difference during installation (after connection my E75 through USB) is that i get a message installing SYNCML-DM telling that window should look for a driver, and after installation i got and error : Windows cannot find a driver for your device : SYNCML-SYNC.
I'm using Vista Enterprise SP1 .

Last comment : This issue is only with my E75. With my E52 & my E71, i do not face any USB connection problem. Grrrrrrrrrrrrr. And with my other computers, no problem at all.

Shared execution context support in SOA Suite Products

Context:
An enterprise application is likely to be made up of components that span across the BPEL, JEE (servlets and EJBs) and ESB containers with heterogeneous mix of technologies/computing languages (especially if part of that application is a legacy application), communication protocols, transport, QoS capabilities etc. The latter opens up a complex set of related issues such as assertion, ownership and enforcement of policies and contracts (both infrastructure-oriented such as security, privacy, manageability and business-oriented such as hours of business, goods return policies) that must be managed in order for the application to behave consistently end to end. In a way, this concept is similar to one of header vs payload distinction.
Goal:
Yet those heterogeneous resources and technologies mentioned above should be abstracted (or externalized) from the business intent, ie the actual data and associated functional processing that deliver real benefits to business, as contextual information that may be both out-of-band and in-band (ie something that is created during the course of an interaction). In this way, the business components (BPEL scripts, presentation tier actions [as opposed to controllers], POJOs, or ESB mediation services implemented using XSLT scripts etc) can be reused in completely new unplanned scenarios with newer execution platforms/infrastructure since the latter can be made virtualized from the point of view of the business components.
To achieve the above, one of the key enabling factors is a shared execution context to capture such dynamic relationships between the application modules or components or services that is technology neutral but can be passed from one containers to the other seamlessly.
Problem:
Having understood the context and goals, the big question is what is the level of support for a shared context implementation found in Oracle BPEL, JEE and ESB containers? Especially in the ESB container since it is the execution environment of all services.
This overarching problem may be decomposed to the following:
* How far is loose coupling of services implemented? Strictly pure XML over HTTP or web services between tiers/containers?
* If it is pure web services everywhere, what about the impedance mismatch problem between POJOs and XML?
* If so, what is the form of a message dispatch/invocation framework to be put in place between tiers/containers? WSIF/AXIS? The choice will obviously be influenced by NFRs and to some extent the ease of integration of such frameworks with Oracle products runtime libraries.
* How does a service lookup another, at design-time or run-time?
* What mechanisms are there in each of the 3 containers above to allow for dynamic service assembly and dependencies injections?
* How should a message be structured (header vs payload)?
* How easy is the header or context that is most likely to be expressed in XML format be mapped to a run-time artifact in each of the containers? Is this mapping process lossless? This header is more than likely to carry a diverse range of information such as session and authentication tokens, management data, logs, audit trails, errors/exceptions and other QoS data.
In attempting to design and implement the above architectural requirements on Oracle SOA suite, I am unable to find any semblance of a design or runtime construct or artifact that is remotely close to what I would call a shared context. Should I conclude therefore that I would have to build the above facilities from ground up, instead of being able to customize a shared context construct or feature in Oracle SOA suite (the ESB container in particular)? I would have thought this is a fundamental capability of an integration platform such as Oracle SOA suite, am I right?

I supposed to make my previous question more concrete, the first answer I need before moving on to the rest of the bigger questions is this ...
What is Oracle’s recommendation for a services invocation framework between BPEL, JEE and ESB containers? From a quick read of Oracle Technet website, WSIF seem to be the preferred framework for this purpose. However, from an equally quick survey of such frameworks in use today outside of Oracle, WSIF does not seem to enjoy any widespread developer community support anymore and all talk in public forum seem to point to newer Apache Frameworks such as CXF which support emerging standards such as JAX-WS 2.0 What is the current stand of Oracle with respect to this matter?

Lightning is a problem for you because it hooks into Thunderbird at a low level and you need a version compiled for the platform Thunderbird is running on. So you can't do the preferred solution, which is to put your whole profile in a shared folder and have both instances of Thunderbird reference the same profile. (Ditto for Enigmail). Lightning may become an integral part of Thunderbird in an upcoming release, at which point this limitation due to Lightning should disappear.
And if you can't use a shared profile, you can't set your Lightning, or your Address Book, to share a common set of files. Put another way, the linkage from Thunderbird to its address book files and calendar data is hard-coded, and not exposed where we can adjust it. :-(
The halfway house is to place your mail stores in a shared place, and use the Local Directory setting in each account's settings to connect to it. They don't need to be in the profile; what's more important in your case is that they are in a folder accessible to both operating systems.
Look in your profile; everything under Mail and ImapMail needs to be moved out to a shared folder. Note the entries in Thunderbird under Local Directory before you do this, and reconstruct those pathnames in Thunderbird, but adjusted to suit their new locations.
(You can see here that you need to make many adjustments, one per account, in each instance of Thunderbird, so it's a high-maintenance solution and this is why we don't recommend it when the alternative, moving the whole profile, is possible.)
I share address books and calendars between Thunderbirds on various computers (and my phone and tablet) by syncing to something in the cloud; Google Contacts and Google Calendar are my choices, using gContactSync and CalDav.
Having made the break myself some years ago, I'd recommend you break away from Windows. ;-)

PGP encryption and decryption in soa suite

Hi,
We have a requriement where bpel process plays the role of encrypting a file using PGP encryption and then it has to be placed onto a SFTP server using an FTP adapter. We would like to know if this can be done using an owsm policy or a seperate java api has to be created for this and invoked in the bpel process. Currently we have a seperate 3rd party tool which does this pgp encryption and it uses ksh shell script. Is there a way where i can invoke this shell script into my bpel process?
I found this note (FAQ (Customization) [ID 105127.1]) in oracle metalink.
How does one run a shell script as a concurrent program?
1: Write the script and call it .prog
Place the script under the bin directory under your applications
top directory.
For example, call the script CUSTOM.prog and place it under
$CUSTOM_TOP/bin
2: Make a symbolic link from your script to $FND_TOP/bin/fndcpesr
For example, if the script is called CUSTOM.prog use this:
ln -s $FND_TOP/bin/fndcpesr CUSTOM
This link should be named the same as the script without the .prog
extension.
It should be in the same directory as the script.
3: Register a concurrent program as described above, using an execution
method of 'Host'
Use the name of your script without the .prog extension as the name
of the executable
For the example above, you would use CUSTOM
4: The script will be passed at least 4 parameters, in $1 through $4
These will be: orauser/pwd, userid, username, request_id
Any other parameters you define will be passed in $5 and higher.
Make sure the script returns an exit status.
But i am ignorant in this area and do not know how the above steps can be executed.
If any of you guys have done pgp encryption in soa 11.1.1.4, please do let me know if there's any way how i can couple pgp encryption into soa suite.

Creative Suite CS5.5 re-install error: Install can't be opened. You should eject the disk image.

I am trying to reinstall the Creative Suite CS5.5 as I have lost my disk.
As soon as I try to open the installer I get the following message:

I have deleted and redownloaded, downloaded from both safari and chrome and also downloaded it on different network connections.
I have also checked my privacy settings to 'Allow applications downloaded from: Anywhere'
Anyone have an answer to this problem?

Right-click (CTRL-Click) that dmg
Choose Open from the context menu.
