"pc suite setting is missing"

i have my 5310 repaired 2 days ago. i received my phone and is now working but it was formatted. the problem is i can't install anything to my phone. whenever i'll use pc suite to install an application, it says that there is no supported phone connected though it recognized my 5310 (connected through usb). and windows has this message: "..pc suite setting is missing.."
pls. help me.. anyone..?

Have you used FExplorer or some other such app to delete files you shouldn't have deleted?
Anyway, you could try reformatting the phone (all messages, pictures, numbers, etc., will be gone:

A. Get spool id per customer and use FM CONVERT_OTF_2_PDF or CONVERT_OTFSPOOLJOB_2_PDF or 'CONVERT_ABAPSPOOLJOB_2_PDF' SAPSCRIPT to PDF for conversion.
2. How to split the spool request for per customer .
A. This you have to design in your driver program and club your spools for particular customer.
3. Script converted PDF file how to place in application server.
A. You have to use destination for PDF as file name and then use Open dataset for output to keep it on application server.

Another Bug in CS3 or a setting Im missing?
This time in Photoshop.
If I add a solid colour fill layer and pick a Pantone colour from the Colour Libraries I fill it with a Pantone colour and then save the document. When I re-open the document the Pantone Fill layer reverts back to a CMYK setting when I double click on the layer.
I ran a test on CS2 and this definitely doesnt happen in CS2 so why in CS3?
Its a massive problem and in my eyes makes Photoshop CS3 unusable in a professional environment.
Please tell me its a new setting i'm missing and not a bug.

No I don't want to use channels. I want to use a 'Solid Fill Colour' layer. If you click on the little icon at the bottom of the layers palette you get a little menu and at the top of that menu you can select 'Solid Colour'. Then you can select the 'Colour Libraries' tab and apply a Pantone Colour as a Solid Fill layer.
Photoshop definitely DOES support this method because we have been using it here for the last few years, its quite standard practice to work like this before going into channel work or DCS work.
It means you can double click a layer to reveal its intended Pantone colour rather than cmyk match.
As I say it works fine in CS2.
Well it seems its another bug in a very poor update. I just hope CS4 doesn't have the same problems.

Setting audible missed call/text reminder on 6600 ...

Hi,
I can't figure out out to set the audio/vibrate reminder for missed calls/texts on the 6600 slide.
As it is now, every time I get out of the shower, or wake up or anything else, I have to take the phone out and physically check the screens to see if I've missed an important call or message.
Also, since this phone doesn't vibrate very strongly, you can miss a text if you happen to be walking at the time. That's why I really need to find where in the menus you set the reminder tones on.
Any hints?

That defines the alert when the message arrrives.
What the OP wants is constant audible reminders after the fact so that the phone keeps on nagging you until you've read the messages or made anote of the missed calls.
No Nokia does this TTBOMK.

My incoming email setting link is missing in CA. I read that you should run IE as an administrator By right-clicking the icon. But for me there is not such a choice, only "as different user".

Standard Set Types Missing

Hi,
I have installed a CRM 7.0 System. I have observed that the standard set types starting COMM_* are missing. For example: COMM_PR_SHTEXT is missing. Due to this I am unable to create a service using t-code COMMPR01.
The values do not exist in t-code COMM_ATTRSET as well as in the table COMC_SETTYPE.

I do not think you would be able to see setype COMM_PR_SHTEXT in txn:COMM_ATTRSET.
But you should be able to see this in table COMC_SETTYPE where FRGTYPE_ID = COMM_PR_SHTEXT.
If this standard settype is missing which is not a normal case, then you can transport this settype from the system
where this exists in your landscape.

Time Machine backup set is missing some files

Today I noticed that some files I last worked on in August have disappeared from my computer. They were pdfs, word and vectorworks (cad) files in different folders – they could not have been accidently trashed. They were active work files from May until late August so they should have been backed up by Time Machine sometime in the past few months. But when I browse the backup sets these files are nowhere to be seen (and of course my daily Superduper bootable clone doesn't have the files either).
The external usb hard drive for Time Machine and the computer are clean according to disk utility, and I've run Onyx a few times to fix permissions.
Does anyone know why files would disappear from both the computer hard drive and the backup sets?

Not true. Time Machine "thins" backups normally, regardless of space.

The Do not back up box is as it should be in Timemachine - the files should have been backed up.
But then the files should still be on the internal HD too.
All I can think of is that the files themselves must have been corrupted somehow, but they are different file types, completed on different days, before and after files that appear to be OK on the internal and on the TM backup. And they must have been corrupted in a way that means that they cannot be found on either the internal HD or in the backup sets.
This is not something I've seen before (and I read at least the title of every thread here). The only thing I can think of is some sort of directory corruption that caused the originals to disappear, and the backups then, eventually, were deleted in the normal fashion.
By the way, I'm not running FileVault.
Do you know of any good data recovery applications?
The one I see here the most is +Data Rescue II.+ I can't recommend for or against it, not having used any of them. They are expensive, and there's no guarantee, although some have a free trial mode that will tell you if anything is recoverable, and perhaps let you recover one file.
Check Google, VersionTracker.com, or MacUpdate.com for +Data Recovery.+ Make certain whatever you get is compatible with Leopard.
Let us know if you have any success.

E71 Ovi Suite "Setting Up" problem

before updating my phone is okay and able to connect with Ovi Suite
after i have updated my phone to firmware 500.21.009
then i have problem to connect my phone to Ovi Suite
it just keep showing "Setting Up..." and i had been wait for half an hour
nothing happened
phone was still havent connected
and Ovi Suite keep showing "Setting Up"
anyone know how to solve it?

Hi Nmarexnoob,
You can try removing the phone from OVi suite application and then re-add it.
Goto OVi Suite -> Tools -> Options -> My Devices
Select your previous entry for your phone and click on Remove this device.
Later exit the OVi application then connect your device and wait for it to get recognised by the Operating system.
Then connect your phone and connect the device once again.
Hope this should resolve your issue.

Ovi Suite doesn't recognize my N97's PC Suite sett...

Hi all. Sorry if this is a double post. I tried searching, but didn't find anything.
I've recently tried to transfer music from my PC to my Nokia N97. I did this once before using Ovi Suite with no problems, but now I'm having some serious trouble.
When I plug my phone into a USB port, it asks me the USB mode I want to use, and I select PC Suite, however it then tells me to reconnect my device using PC Suite mode, which I already have done! It doesn't matter how many times I do it, Ovi Suite is adament that my phone is connected in file transfer mode. I've downloaded all the updates, but it hasn't helped.
I can still connect with Bluetooth, but its slow, and if I connect by dragging and dropping (going to My Computer then to my device) then the music doesn't actually show up in my phone.
Can anybody give me some advice on what to do?

If you set Ovi Suite to full screen, does your computer not remember that setting? It should make Ovi Suite fit to screen.

"Common Screen Set" is missing

I've installed VS2013 - Update 4 and the Office Tools November Update. I'm starting a new project and I want to use the "Common Screen Set", but that Screen Type does not show up in my list of screen templates.
This is a completely new installation with no projects (yet). Did I miss a step somewhere?

Biometric GP setting is missing from win2k8 standard FE.

Following GP setting does not exist on the defaul domain policy.
Computer Confguration / Policies / Administrative Templates / Windows Components / Biometrics / Allow
Registry is also missing.
HKLM\SOFTWARE\Policies\Microsoft\Biometrics!Enabled
I would like to allow biometric authentication to domain users via group policy.
Please advise.

Based on your description, I guess that you didn’t store the Group Policy Administrative Template files in the Central Store. So, please locate to
C:\Windows folder and check if you can find PolicyDefinitions
folder.
Meanwhile, please understand that those settings of Biometrics group policy are supported on at least Windows Server R2 or Windows 7.
So, please download the
Administrative Templates (ADMX) for Windows Server 2008 R2 and Windows 7 and install it in a new folder. And copy
Biometrics.admx file from the new folder, then paste to
C:\Windows\PolicyDefinitions. Copy Biometrics.adml file from the new folder (please select language folder correctly. If you use English edition, choose it from
en-us subfolder), then paste to C:\Windows\PolicyDefinitions\correct language folder
(such as en-us).
Then re-start Group Policy Management Editor and check if you can find those Biometrics setting.
If this issue still exists or anything I misunderstand, please don’t hesitate to let me know.
