PC Suite / Transfer from CD to phone

Recently bought 5300 XpressMusic, installed PC Suite 6.81.10 which came with phone, and began downloading from existing CDs using the supplied DKE-2 cable. All went OK until I tried a CD with video content, PC Suite wouldn't recognise the CD at all, couldn't get a track listing let alone try and download anything.
Is this a feature of PC Suite itself or the version I have? Is there any way round this, as quite a number of my CDs have video on them and I'd like to be able to load them onto my phone as per the others...

I've only loaded music that is already on my computer,not tried direct from CD. So I would suggest getting the music on to your computer and then transferring it. I use iTunes and import as MP3. It's then just a case of using file manager to browse to My Music, iTunes, iTunesMusic and find the appropriate artist folder and copy the file.

It does see folders however none seem to have images in them. This is a new problem. It been able to import images a few weeks ago.
Using Assus G74 laptop.

R-Kelly is correct. You must be using Ps Elements, not Photoshop proper. You cannot refer to Elements as Photoshop because that is misleading. Elements is not Photoshop proper.
Photoshop 6.x had no such photo download feature.

In addition to the standard method in the link from Ingo2711, there are apps – many of them free – which make getting photos from your iPhone to another device, such as your computer, as easy as pointing your computer's web browser to a web page. I like WiFi Photo Transfer:

Don't worry about pictures coming in sideways or upside-down. Just rotate them in iPhoto or Preview or whichever photo viewer/editor you prefer to use, before posting them on CraigsList.

You will no longer be able to sync manually with match. I would suggest that you wait until match has competed its process on your computer and that you are told how many tracks are in the cloud.
If you activate match on your iOS device too soon, you may find that all your tracks are not there. Ps it is not just artwork that is being uploaded, it's music as well.

The iphone is not a storage/backup device. The sync is one way - computer to iphone. The only exception is itunes purchases. File>Devices>Transfer Purchases

You can do this in steps.. First use the built in method for uploading a file into the flows files object, Next you would copy the file out to an Oracle built directory on your UNIX box using utl_file.put_raw..

Sorry no backup - no pictures.
Yes phone will automatically backup to icloud when on wifi and phone is charge, but your phone storage was full so it stop backing up.

When you subscribe to iTunes Match from an iOS device, your local tracks will not be matched or uploaded to iCloud. You will need to sign in with your Apple ID from a computer in order to match and upload your local music library.

There are few things you can check. Most of the Hotels use "splash" login page when you go online you have to accept their TOS. If you don't do that connection does not exist, even if you see wifi simbol. Verify that both devices are connected to wifi. Also you want to make sure that camera app of your iphone is turned off and phone is charged over 20 %.
Do simple test. When you on wifi take a new photo and open your photostream album on the same phone. If you see that photo show up in there in few min (takes 2 to 5 on fast connection) then you need to check your ipad and if it does not show there - check the charge and go online on ipad. Once you verify you can access Internet - see if photo shows up in photostream on the ipad. If you get problem in any step of that process- come back and we ll work througth the rest.
That test will allow to check if photostream works at all, if the problem is intermittent - like you described, when you on good wifi it should rectify itself(it has 30 days to do that), but you want to make sure that those pictures do get in photostream album of your iphone.

Uploading or sending videos from my old phone

This may seem like a silly question, but I was wondering if it were still possible for me to somehow upload or send video messages from my old phone. My old phone is a samsung-ach930. I feared I lost this phone years ago that had some sentimental videos (my son crawling for the first time, standing up, etc.) saved on it. But, this morning while rifling through my storage closet I found it! So, now I hope I can still share these videos. Is there any way this is possible? Thanks for any help.

Wow - how cool is that - you found it after all this time!! If the phone has an SD card you can simply turn the phone on and save the pics and videos to the SD card to transfer them to your computer.
If it doens't have that capability, then another option would be to temporarily activate it, send the videos to your email address (it will count as a text message), then reactivate your current phone once you have sent everything.

I know the importance of saving and updating your contacts. What type of phone do you have? If you are using Backup Assistant, you have the ability to sync the contacts between your laptop and phone. You will also be able to see if all your contacts are stored on the online portion of the application versus the phone itself. The contacts should be the same for both online and the phone.

Check to see if they appear in the My Photo Stream album on the device that the photos were taken on. If they are, then they were successfully added to your photo stream. If not, ensure that after taking the photo your device is connected to wifi, the camera app is closed and your device has at least 20% battery life remaining. All three conditions must be met for a photo to be added to your photo stream. If they are, and photos are still not being added to photo stream, save any existing photo stream photos on your device to your camera roll (unless already there), then go to Settings>iCloud>Photos, turn My Photo Stream off, then turn it back on. Take a new photo, close the camera app, make sure your device is connected to wifi with sufficient battery life remaining and see if it appears in the my photo stream album within a minute or so now.
