What you could do now is break up your video into smaller parts and render them out, then assemble them again as a whole.
I know this is not the best fix, but it might work.
You can duplicate an edit in the main screen, then delete the last bits and export,
do the same for the other half.
Then import the two bits (or more if you need) in a new edit.
Out of curiosity, can you post what format the video is in?
Copy a video straight from the camera to your computer.
Open it in Quicktime player, and with out playing type Apple + i
or Control + i for PCs
It should tell you lots of info about the video, and might help us to see what is wrong.
This is what it looks like:

  • Green Screen with audio after Burning

    Hi all.
I have been trying to get rid of the generations of old camcorders that I have in my house. I want to burn the old tapes onto DVD.
I have a Hi8 (analog) camcorder (I have purchased an analog to digital USB Box and Videoglide software, a MiniDV camcorder, and lots of footage from a Cannon Digital camera.
I started with some simple stuff and now I have tried a harder disc with editing out some unwanted footage and combining footage from the same day. I used iMovie and "Shared" the files, some in "large movie" format and some in "mobile" format, I guess based on the quality of the original movie.
Well, I have wasted probably 15 DVDs because just at random, the video is replaced by a green screen, the audio is still there. Funny enough, I have tried different themes, the current one I am using has previews of the movie on the menu and those previews look just fine.
I have tried burning the disc on both my macbook and on my Mini, both running Snow Leopard.

    Hi
Just another approach according storing of old material.
    • DVDs - are a viewable media - not good as long time store due to
    a. they get old and nobody (as far as I know of) knows for how long they last
    (from weeks to some Years)
    b. DVDs are very compacted = Lot's of original data is lost in process and can't be fully restored.
So just for the sake of it - Keep Your tapes - all of them if valubale.
One can do secure full quality copies on hard disks - but this pro approach has it's
    owns problems
    • Rather expensive to set up (in total minimum of about 8 hard disks)
    4 as raid and 4 that exchangs 1 to 2 and 2 to 3 and 3 to 4 - in a rotation pattern
    • Has to be maintained and shuffled about once a month or (more or less)
    • Tedious and costly.
I keep my tapes - they also needs to be re-wounded from time to time - byt far less
    time stealing.

aneyone can help? i only have the apple tv 4 days.

Do you have any of the purchase paperwork that came with your iMac.  It might have some of the info on it, i.e. the CPU type and
First see if you can Boot into Safe Mode, Mac OS X: Starting up in Safe Mode.  If you can you can access the About This Mac menu option and the System Report from there to see if you have the recalled graphic card.
If that fails see if you can Boot into the Recovery volume (boot with the Command + R keys held down) and access the About this Mac info from there.
Or look on the iMac for the serial number and compare to this info:
    t
he iMacs must fall in the following serial number configurations:
The last four characters of the serial number must contain one of the following groups (for example, xxxxxxxxDHJQ):
    DHJQ, DHJW, DL8Q, DNGH, DNJ9, or DMW8
    DPM1, DPM2, DPNV, DNY0, DRVP, DY6F, F610
If the iMac falls within one of the above the serial number categories and is confirmed to have the graphics card issues, Apple will replace the AMD card free of charge up to three years from the computer’s purchase date

  • Flash videos not working, show green screen

In all of my browsers (firefox latest version, chrome latest version, IE 8) flash videos on sites like Youtube and others will play audio but will only display a green screen (no video). I have updated flash "successfully" several times.
Also, I have tried uninstalling flash player several times but it never actually uninstalls, despite saying that the uninstall was successful. I have tried uninstalling on a clean reboot, with no programs running. What do I do?
EDIT: More info: On the adobe.com/software/flash/about page the flash video plays and the little box says "You have version 10,1,82,76 installed" so flash is definitely still installed. I also tried rebooting multiple times between uninstalls.

Hi, glad you solved your own problem  On the Uninstalling, removing it from add/remove or control panel/programs & features doesn't do it. In your case, glad it didn't since you ran the test, and Flash Player is working fine now(without the h.a)
If you ever need to Uninstall Flash Player, be sure to use the latest Uninstaller from Adobe since it changes each time a Flash Player Update is released.

You can always find the latest Uninstaller just be looking at a few threads here on the forum.

  • Expression Encoder 4 Output for all video is a green screen with audio

I keep getting a green screen outputting any video while trying each setting. I've read somewhere that its the compatibility of the filters on the computer but I have no idea what do use to make it work. Any suggestion's would be appreciated. Thanks

I'm having this problem too.  It's a shame no one has bothered to support this application.

  • Why are my burnt dvds showing either no video or green screens?

I edit using Avid Media Composer 3.1.2. I usually burn dvds from iDVD, but I also have Final Cut Studio on my Mac. I recently tried to burn a wedding in HD to a dvd, but the dvd came out half compressed, with a green screen covering the lower portion of the dvd. I did some "googling" and downloaded some codecs and ensured that my energy saving settings were set to "Never". This made it so that I couldn't view any videos on my computer, regardless of resolution. I shot a play back in December, also in HD, and that came out on dvd fine, as I was able to burn 30 copies and all were fine. I also just finished another wedding and half of that footage was HD, and the dvds came out great. I have now wasted 10 dvds trying to get this wedding to work. I have started to use disk images instead, simply to cut back on wasted dvds. I have been going at this for a few days now and nothing seems to be working. The bride is becoming impatient and this has never happened before.
I have tried many conversions and different formats. The original one (and the format that I most commonly use) is a Quicktime Reference. Quicktime keeps telling me to download a codec, but I can't seem to find anymore codecs.
Format (According to Quicktime Movie Inspector): 16 Bit Integer (Little Endian), Stereo, 48.000 kHz, 'AVdn', 1920 x 1080, Millions

AVdn is Avid's DNxHD codec .... you should be able to get it from the Avid website:

  • Video Blank / Green Screen on Android 2.3

I developed an applications for Android 2.3 to stream video from http://live.twit.tv. The video plays correctly on about 90-95% of Android 2.2 devices but I've yet to see a 2.3 device play the stream correctly. The Nexus S plays the audio but the video shows up as a green screen. (Application built in Flash then exported with the Adobe Air 2.5 beta extension).
    Here's my stream info:
    Video:
    H2264 - MPEG-4 AVC (part 10) (avc1)
    720x480
    Framerate: 2.970029
    Audio:
    MPEG Audio layer 1/2/3 (mpga)
    Channels: Mono
    Sample rate: 44100 Hz
    Bitrate: 64 kb/s
Not sure what's going on here or if I have any control over fixing it. Suggestions welcome.

You can try a current nightly build of Firefox for android
    https://nightly.mozilla.org/
There or some changes that might help.
    OR
Uninstall Firefox , restart you phone and then again install Firefox from Google play. Don't download and install from other website.

  • Adobe FLash Player issues video playback green screen

My laptop is a week old. I cannot get videos to properly play especially in Facebook. I also had trouble with you tube until I opened internet options... advanced.. and checked the first item that deals with software acceleration. Even after this Facebook videos continue to fail. This only cures the You Tube Videos, Facebook videos still do not play. Audio is there but total green screen.
I have seen discussions about right clicking the video that wont play then uncheck "Enable Hardware Acceleration".  When I am in Facebook on a video that fails I right click and that option is not available in the box that pops up.If the video that fails is from you tube. I can select you tube in the control bar for the video and it plays fine. Non you tube videos do not play at all in Facebook.
I decided to try Chrome. It had the same playback issues as IE except the video playback screen stayed black - but when I right clicked on the video the "enable Hardware acceleration"   choice was there, I unchecked this and videos now play on Facebook using Chrome.
I prefer IE and want to fix the issue. Seems to me its Adobe since I do not have the Enable Hardware acceleration choice using IE.
Anyone ever heard of this? At one point I went to Control panel to delete all history from Flash player and the icon is listed as 32 bit. my OS is 64 bit. Is this an issue?
This is driving me nuts. Any help would be appreciated. "Just use Chrome" is not the response I am looking for. I want Adobe to work in IE

Found a fix it appears. I found a page that said update adobe flash to windows 8.1. There was a link there.
Installed that update and all appears to be working now.
Funny thing is it appears this HP laptop came with a version of Windows that was 8.1 but the flash player version was still for Windows 8. All testing on adobe pages made it appear as if the flash player was installed correctly.
    Thank you for the response

  • ISight green light is on, Photobooth shows green screen

Yeah, I started up my computer today and for some reason the camera light is on but I'm not even using it. I tried opening Photobooth so that I could quit it, and maybe the camera would go off, but Photobooth just shows a blank, green screen.
    Anyone got any solutions?

    Hey,
I had this issue awhile back too, I had no idea what caused it. I'm not sure if this is a real fix but I ran AHT(Apple Hardware Test) and it didn't find any issues, but after the test completed I booted up into OS X and everything was fine.
Intel-based Macs: Starting up into Apple Hardware Test
I have no idea if this is an actual real fix, but you can give it a try.
Heres a forum thread with the same issue: iSight Problem
