PC Wont pick up N70

I recently installed the PC drivers for my N70, and after updating a few things nad re-setting the PC as it instructed me to do so, whenever I attach the datacable to my phone, I get the "du-du-dun" sound from windows telling me that the device hasn't connected properly.
I'm using PC Suite version 1.6.80.0 if that helps, and I wondered if updating would help but it says that the phone needs to be conected to update. Should I try re-installing? Any help would be great!

I would uninstall Nokia PC Suite, Nokia Connectivity cable driver and PC connectivity solutions. Restart your computer and then go online to www.nokia.com/pcsuite and download the latest version for your phone.

Are you using a USB hub? If yes, try connecting it directly to your computer. If you are connecting your player at the front ports, try using the rear USB port. A lot of people are reporting having detection issues when using the front USB ports. Another thing you can also try is use another USB cable (if you have a spare cable). See if that hel

Basically,when i 1st put the iphone on,it says no service on the top bar and at the bottom it says configure,so i go through the procedure, then i get a message saying `" your iphone could not be activated because the activation server is tempererally unavailable.Try connecting your iphone to itunes to activate it or try again in a couple of minutes. If this problem persists,contact apple support."

Knowing what computer and printer you have may help.
Have you tried completely uninstalling all the software and drivers for the printer and reinstalling everything or did you just uninstall the driver?

Printer wont pick up 6 x 4 photo paper

When we first tried to print from the computer on 6 x 4 paper, the printer did so, but since then, it will not pick up 6x4 paper,but it will print onto A4. When requested to print onto 6x4 paper from the computer it picks up A4 each time. We have tried disconnecting and it still wont pick up 6x4.

Are you using Windows 7 on your laptop and what printer model do you have?
If you're using wndows 7, then you should be able to specify the paper source as in the screen shot below. The main tray is usually A4 and the photo tray would normally contain the 6 x 4 photo paper.
Just to clarify one other point: when you say that the printer refuses to pick up the paper, is the printer not printing anything or just printing to a different paper source?

X58 pro mobo M flash wont pick up new bios

Hi all, i am trying to flash my boards bios with the latest bios, but for some reason M flash wont pick up the new bios. I have extracted it to the root directory of my flash, and a seperate folder as well and M flash wont pick up the bios file or the seperate folder, please advice.

Well, usually a different BIOS has no big impact on system performance.
Anyway, if you ever decide to switch to a v8.x BIOS, there are basically two options:
1) Fool the M-Flash File Scan by simply renaming the desired v8.x BIOS File to A7522IMS.7x0 (x=any number you like).

In any case, I'd suggest to use option #2, however, if it is not really necessary to update the BIOS, you may as well leave it alone.

It's about the settings in the printer properties. Set it to the color picture paper you are suing and all you problems will go away. I was also going to take it back till my 15 year old suggested using the properties.

Itunes wont pick up my Iphone 3Gs 16gb

I sat for a whole day yesterday scrubbing Itunes from my Pc playing about with device manager following online instructions and nothing really seems to work. I managed to get it connected to Itunes at one point but that was just out of the blue... I left it plugged in for a good ten minutes then it automatically just opened Itunes and started syncing... Now ever since it wont seem to do it again ? I really am beggining to get frustrated with this. The phone thats meant to be the best of the best...
The cable they sent me with the Iphone seemed to work at first then it kept saying Usb power surge exceeded or something everytime i plugged that specific cable in... Ive got an external HDD and I tried plugging that in and it worked fine... So im guessing the cable is faulty...But I had another cable lying around which was from a 4gb Ipod Nano I used to have...
That Ipod nano worked fine with my computer and itunes ect... so I dont understand why the phone is not...
When plugged it with the cable it makes the noise to acknowledge that that it has indeed been plugged in, then auto play comes up but it says the phone is a camera device... should this be the case ?
If anyone can help please do !! Ive deleted Itunes about ten times and wiped everything to do with itunes, quicktime and so on... then restarted, downloaded the latest blah blah....
Im unsure of the OS but I know its unlocked etc... I got this second hand, but the previous owner had no problems connecting to itunes etc...

PC & itunes wont pick up ipod as drive but shows up in device manager?

pleeeease help....my ipod has all its music on and plays perfectly but i cant update any songs on it...
device manager shows it is connected and is working properly, but it doesnt show in my computer or itunes or realplayer or winamp or yamipod, or podplayer, etc...etc?
Ive tried stopping it in the ipodService in service applications under admin tools, ive restarted it, assigned a new drive letter, rebooted the pc with it plugged in and prayed, tried to format it but XP wont let me, ive even thrown it on the floor a few times...the HP USB format tool doesn't work, i dont understand how this is possible because my music is all still there and playable?
I cant re-enable it as a drive because itunes doesnt even pick it up....any clues or hints or solutions[even better] would be great!!

Ipod wont resond to anything at all. ITunes wont read and wont pick up connection

Ipod is just comepletely black. Doesnt light up at all even after holding menu and sleep key. Wont connect to itunes or a usb.
