Pc wont recognize when i plug in iphone 5s
I am trying to put pics back on iphone from pc but when i plug in Iphone to PC, it wont recognize it. Thanks
The only way to put photos back on to the iPhone from the PC is through the iTunes sync process. You connect the device to the computer, open iTunes, select the iPhone in the device pane, then go to the Photos tab, select the photos you want to sync and then perform the sync. If you are trying to put them back by going to the camera roll in Explorer, that will not work. You cannot write back to the camera roll on the iPhone. Explorer will only recognize the phone and allow you to look at it when there are photos in the camera roll.

when I plug my iPhone in to my computer, iTunes doesn't recognize it as a device. I have deleted and re-downloaded iTunes twice which seems to fix the problem temporarily but then the next time I plug my phone in, the device is not recognized.
What happens if you go to iTunes > File > Devices, do you get the option to Sync iPhone?

Alright, I've had this problem for a while now, and I'm at my wit's end. Hope someone can help me.
First of all, I'm running Windows 8.0 on a Lenovo, using iTunes 11.1.5, and an iPhone on iOS 7.0.6.
Problem is, when I plug my iPhone 5 into my computer, the computer recognizes the iPhone, but for some reason, iTunes doesn't realize it's there. On top of that, every time I plug in, my phone gives me the same "Trust this computer?" prompt, like it doesnt recognize the computer I told it to trust 5 seconds ago. A couple times, I got lucky and iTunes dignified me with a "An iPhone has been detected, but could not be identified properly." prompt. I've tried uninstalling and reinstalling the mobile device driver, updating everything, uninstalling and reinstalling iTunes, resetting my iphone settings, but nothing works. When I plug my iPhone 4s into my PC, I get a message that says iTunes needs a newer version of Apple Mobile Device Support. It wants me to uninstall both the AMDS and iTunes and then reinstall iTunes. iTunes won't recognize my phone and so I can't synch it. Has anyone else run into this problem recently and how did you resolve it? Thanks!

I suppose I should have prefaced my question with the concern that I've read a number of other posts from people who have had a similar issue and when they tried to follow the directions, they ran into a multitude of other problems. As you might imagine, I'm hoping to avoid the creation of new problems as I try to solve this one. Thanks again.

In iTunes there is a setting to automatically launch iTunes when the phone is connected.

my itunes will not open at all. it occasionally will open but when i plug my iphone into it the program freezes and crashes. please help as soon as possible
i think i might have a solution... i have windows vista and after i installed to latest itunes update everytime i tried to open it it would freeze. I tried everything, including uninstalling itunes and all of its components and reinstalled it numerous times. So i went to the itunes folder in my folders, not on itunes, and i deleted my itunes library and playlists. After that it worked just fine, all of my music was deleted but luckily i had my files saved elsewhere.

When I plug in iPhone (5.1.1) to computer, playlists show up on the iPhone (when plugged in), that do not appear when it is not plugged in. And I can't erase them. I have iTunes match, and deleted all my music on the iPhone, but that had no effect on the phantom playlist that shows up on the PC when I plug in the iPhone to the PC. I cannot manually move songs or playlists from the PC to the iPhone

I needed a phone, so my brother gave me his old Iphone 3g. I instantly downloaded the latest itunes (10.5.3) and I purchased some songs and application at itunes store. Unfortunately when I plug my iphone in it freezes itunes and I can't put anything on the phone. My iphone has absolutely nothing on the phone, no songs, apps, contacts, nothing.
I have tried for about a week now. Looking at forums on the internet and downloading alternatives to itunes like media monkey and foobar and alot of other programs to be able to put music on my phone.I spoke to my brother and he had no troubles at all with the phone.
I have no idea what to do. PLEASE HELP.

I have tried plugging the iphone in different ports. I heard you need to plug it into a 2.0 usb port, but I tried all of them. I don't know if my laptop has 2.0 usb ports because it still didn't work.
I tried reinstalling itunes the correct order multiple times but that didn't work.
I tried deleting the crash files that I didnt even have. I don't have the appdata file to delete its contents, if I do I couldn't find it.
I had to delete my virus software and disable it while I plugged my iphone in.I restarted my computer multiple times and restored my computer a few times and also deleted alot of useless files and movies to make my computer run faster.
As soon as I plug my iphone in, itunes instantly freezes. When unplugged itunes instantly unfreezes.
Also I have the original Iphone charger.

Randomly when I plug my Iphone 4s into Itunes it will tell me that it can't detect my phone and that I need to restore it. It doesn't happen every time, but maybe every two weeks.I restore it and then it works for a while, but then a couple weeks later I'll plug it in and I get the same message again. It's very frustrating because even though I have all the settings to save to cloud, my apps and data don't all come back.

When I plug my iphone 5s into my desktop computer, the iphone icon which you click on to to wnable you to synch your device with itunes does not appear. Its like being signed into itunes without a device connected.
If you look in the top left hand corner, this is where the icon should appear apparently, but as you can see, on my account it just isnt appearing! my usb cable is new from an Apple store and isnt faulty. Right-click "My Computer", and select "Manage". Expand "Services & Applications" and click "Services". Maximise the window so you can see what's going on.
Find the Apple Mobile Device Service in the list. Does the status show as "Started" and the startup type as "Automatic"?
