Hi Experts,
When i run this report it checks the "appraisal points" stored in table "V_T7INB8". My question from where does the system read the appraisal point?
In other words, where in the masters the appraisal points are stored for an employee which the system checks during this report.

But when we activate the integration between PA and PD, then the screen for infotype 25 changes and then i am not able to see the "appraisal points" field there.
I have a scenario where i have to activate the integration between PA and PD.

Dear Friends,
We would like to create promotion and the scenario is.
We have 4 products.
if customer purchase 10 carton in any combination of these 4 products.
customer will be eligible for one free carton of any of these 4 product.
how can we create promotion for this scanrio.

If you have 4 products and if customer purchases 10 cartons in the combination of these 4 products if the customer will be eligible for 1 free carton of these 4 products then , using Free goods you can configure it.
While maintaining the Free goods condition record VBN1 give the product 5 and for this product 5 you assign all the 4 products in exclusive method then it is possible.

Can i use my husbands upgrade for the iphone 6 promotion

My line is technically not eligible for upgrade, but my husbands line is (we are on a family plan with my mom). Last time I upgraded, they let me use my husbands upgrade since his was available. Can I do this for the iphone 6 promotion or will they not allow it?

Auto-Promote Participants to Presenters is not working

Hi All,
I'm new to Adobe Connect and we are test driving it to see if we should use it for trainging as part of our virtual classrooms.
So far I'm really excited by what I see as it seems to be much more training oriented than WebEx.
However, I've come across a really big stumbling block.
I want students to contribute and share without having to individually promote them to presenters.
I found the option under 'Manage Access & Entry' to 'Auto-Promote Participants to Presenters' and thought this issue was solved.
However, it worked the first time I tested it but ever since it does not work.
When someone logs in as a guest they are logged in as a participant and NOT promoted to Presenter.
I've created a new meeting room with the same results.
I've specified that anyone can log in with the link and the 'Auto-Promote' is definately on.
Any ideas about why this is not working?

It sounds like you are using the Meeting Host licensing. This requires that a member of the Meeting Host group must be present in the meeting to fully activate the room functionality. The simple version of that is that no one will have higher than Participant rights until a member of the Meeting Host group joins. Once that condition is satisfied, then all other attendees will be promoted to Presenter, since you have the auto-promote function on.

Free Goods Promotions for Retail.

Hi SAP Retail Xperts.
Actually I am working with Promotions for retail industry, and I am using the transaction WAK1, in order to create them.
Our client, work with free goods (exclusive bonus quantity) and I can see that the WAK1 transaction has a view for that, but the Create Free Goods button IS NOT active.
Does anybody knows how could I active it. If it is active, I will be able to create a Free Goods exclusive bonus quantity from WAK1 transaction???.

Hi Machacon,
Create Promotion in WAK1.Enter Articles in fast entry tab,Quantity in
Quantity Planning tab,site groups in site group tab.Save your promotion.
Go to your newly created Promotion in change WAK2, now you go to Free goods tab
where you can see free goods button in active form.

Promotion number in the sales order for free goods promotion.

I have a business scenario in which "Sales Orders are created" for the customers in SAP IS Retail System.(This is for helpdesk ordering). In most of the occasions, free goods promotion would be running. The free goods promotions(exclusive) are maintained using promotion module in IS Retail system(condition type NA00). In this situation, the promotion number is not getting populated in the sales order automatically. Is there any specific configuration required or any BADI needs to be activated?
Note: Free goods item is getting generated automatically in the sales order with item category TANN.
Can any one advice pls.

1)Check in Change Promotion T.code - WAK2
in the item level Promotion announcement category(Ann column) - set indicator as F Promotion announcement
2)Check sales periods dates - Sales order from to TO it should be valid date

Can not promote server from Standalone to PDC

Hi,
I am currently trying to promote my SMB service from a Stand Alone server to a Primary Domain Controller (PDC). It get to an Authentication window asking for my Directory Admin name and password. Which I enter correctly. I click okay, and the setting for PDC changes back to Standalone Server.
I have verified that my DNS settings are correct, and that the DIRADMIN password is correct as I can athenticate to it in Workgroup manager.
Any suggestions?

I remember having a problem like this, I think my issue was solved by using the username 'Administrator' not 'diradmin'. If I recall correctly the username and password it was looking for was for the Windows domain, not the OD.
I could be totally off my rocker on that one, so my apologies in advance if it does not work...

HR-Promotion report (HR-PA)

Hi,
I have a report in HR-PA.
here in this report we are looking for promotions for employee .
Here in date range we will get list of employees and thier promotions , but here we need only latest prmotion details of employee not all promotions in that date rangE.
Please advice me how to proceed here. I am looking for restrictions only on query side but not from design side.

Promotion action run - payroll run - Chng in payroll area in IT1 not allowe

Hi Friends,
My client has the following query:
"One of the employee has been promoted from employee group 2 (Workmen) to employee group (Management Staff). We have run promotion action now, that is after running pay roll for the month of May 2011. Now it is not allowing to change the pay roll area in orga. assignment effective from 01.04.2011, please do the needful on priority to run pay roll for the month of May 2011."
Can anyone please help me and let me what needs to be done in such cases.

As you said that you have already configured ABKRS feature for defaulting payroll area based on your employee group.
So when you run the promotion action it should actually pick up the default payroll area according to new employee group.
Are you able to do that? or did you manually change it on IT 0001 screen.
If you want it to be automatically defaulted then check your feature DFINF it should have value X if you want it from customising or leave it blank if it should be copied form the previous record

How to get promoted properties from Request to Response in two way send port scenario.

I have a requirement to access the promotes properties in response pipeline, these promoted properties are promoted in Orchestration and they are available in Send pipeline, but not available in Receive pipeline. Please help us if we have any solution for
this issue.

Hi Ramachandra,
Obviously from above responses you would have got the point that this can’t be done out-of-box and you need to do custom. Also when you say “Get the message
from DB along with context properties.”, you do agree with this point.
One of the possible custom solutions is (Obviously in bespoken process, you can achieve it in many ways),
When send the message out to a solicit-response port, store those promoted properties in db along with the “correlation key” which you can get from the context of the request message like
“Correlation Token” and “SPID”. So when the response comes back, you can either in the “inbound map” or in the receive pipeline (using custom component) populate/constructs the message by populating data from db, where will retrieve the
“Correlation Token” and “SPID” values of the response message (it will have the same correlation value as in the request message), so you can use the value of correlation sets to get the values from db.

Two new iPhones 1 promotional gb for 24 mos finally added. I have to jump hoops next year for the second gb (also 24 mos) owed to me.

Here's the update.
SO they finally added the extra gb for 24 mos on only one of two new iPhones that I bought in September. Count the months, it's been three months.
WHy is my issue only half resolved and they said it's going to stay that way?
BEcause they said that, yes they have documentation from the rep that activated the first phone that it was her fault. She did it in the incorrect order for the promo to work. She was supposed to make sure that the right plan was on the acct before activating the phone. She tried to correct it that same day but she didn't have a way to do it so she advised me to wait for the delivery of my husbands phone (the second phone) and once I receive it, at that time I should try to correct her mistake.
I Knew it was fishy and right away I consulted with a manager at the local store where I had first heard of the promotion. He tried to help me for two months and came back empty handed because as he put it he has even less access compared to the reps in customer service. Eventually I gave him a break and also because promised calls from supervisors were not kept. So I called customer service myself and after one knowlegeable rep and one sympathetic supervisor the end result is a problem half resolved.. A second supervisor after that is the one that explained to me that they have no way of fixing the reps mistake and he suggested that I accept 1gb for a year instead of 2 years and that then I should call back once that expires and ask for it to be added back for a second year.
I Said No. I will not go through this again, it's not fair to me. I said to him its been three months now since I started trying to get this resolved I'm not going to repeat that stress again next year.   As it is it never fails every two Years when I add on a new promotional phone, there's always some mess that I have to spend months clearing up.
SO dissapointed. I told him I was going to give him a bit more time to make things right but I'm beginning to believe it's so hard for them that they prefer not to bother and instead try to fix it best they can within their department. Unfortunately it adds to my inconvenience. So I think im going to have to put a complaint with the public utility commission and the better business bureau.

I suddenly started getting redirected when I click on my Firefox icon. Page says "Paypal and Firefox Simple promotion!" Paypal says it isn't theirs. I can't seem to get past this. I am afraid this a Trojan redirect or keystroke copier.

I have no idea abt your process, but you can create new order reason as promotional items and assign to FOC order, you can create sales employee as customer and create FOC with customers ( sales employee).

Sales Order related to Sales Promotion
