PCA Allocations - Sender base from dollars posted in last period

Hi SAP Gurus,
I have an issue related to PCA allocations -
I want to use Net Sales posted in the previous period as a base to perform allocations.
Please provide your valuable suggestions.

Following is my RnD so far regarding this issue -
I'm trying to pull up Period field through GLGCA1 into Sender Values tab (FAGLGA12) so that I can use previous month Net Sales as a sender base.
I'm successfully able to maintain field RPMAX under table FAGLFLEXT for Allocation type Assessment Actual by GLGCA1.
Also the Display check box in this configurion is checked on and I have selected all fields usage ( Cycle, Sender tracing factor, Sender, Receiver and Receiver tracing factor).
But period field is not showing up in FAGLGA12.
Any suggesstions.

I usually read the forums by the 'View Posts Since Last Visit' method rather than any particular forum. It'd be very nice to have the 'Mark All Forums Read' item on that page as well as the main one to save a trip to that page just for that item. Is this doable?

I'll second that one, too. It's more of a 'disaster recovery' mechanism and wouldn't ordinarily be used, so isn't all that important to me, but it's great when you need it. Most (vBulletin, etc.) boards support that, I believe.

Error: Sender base in period 003 is 0; therefore, no allocation is possible

When i am running a Distribution cycle in PCA i am getting the following Error:
"Sender base in period 003 is 0; therefore, no allocation is possible
Diagnosis
The total base value for sender 41007001DUMMY100GLPCT0001X0000000000000000X in period 003 is 0. This value is derived from the total of all receiver allocation bases.
System Response
It is not possble to distribute the sender value because calculating the receiver values according to the formula
Sender value X Receiver allocation base / Sender base
would terminate the program. The sender is therefore not credited for period 003"
But when i check the KE5Z report the Sender Profit Center is having the balance.
Note: We have gone live recently and we are trying the distribute the sales amount which was migrated with dummy profit centers to the profit centers which are supposed to have that revenue using this distribution Cycle

My Distribution rule is maintained like this:
Sender Profit Center : Dummy1
Account Number From : 41007001 to 45007900 (All of of them carry revenue (Cr. Balance)
Reciver Profit Center (SET): FINALGRP
SKF: Dummy
Values are maintained in 9KE5 Correctly according to the Percentage of Distrubution amoung the receivers

Some Users on randomly basis are unable to send e-mails from 2003 exchange to 2007 Exchange users Internally.
They are sending mails from outlook and users from 2007 dont have any issues.
But sometime mails from 2003 to 2007 goes without any issue.
The NDR reported is as below.

According to the NDR, I found this point "The message contains a content type that is not supported".
Please verify whether the un-delivered messages contain some Sensitive
Information, signatures or attachments that cannot pass the Exchange 2007 Edge server. Please also check the content type of the un-delivered messages.

Close PCA allocation cycle posting periods

Hello all,
I want to close PCA allocation cycles posting periods.We can't control this through OKP1.As SAP allows to post PCA allocation cycles after closure of periods in FI & CO.Hence there is mismatch with data sent to BCS system.
Can anyone advice on closure of PCA allocation cycles posting ?

Restating my issue / question...
When I send email from this iMac, there is a string of characters assigned. The characters are all the "alpha numeric" characters on the QWERTY key board. This only occurs when email is sent from this iMac. The issue does not manifest when using any other lap top or computer.
Hence, I have ruled out the issue is a yahoo mail matter.
Again, I can access the Yahoo mail account form multiple devices and send email without unintended assignment of character strings, but when I send wmail using this iMac, the issue happens everytime.
Characters are stacked verticaly in a column. It looks as if all characters (except function keys) are included in the string.
Any ideas?

Third-party system modifications are a common cause of usability problems. By a “system modification,” I mean software that affects the operation of other software — potentially for the worse. The following procedure will help identify which such modifications you've installed. Don’t be alarmed by the complexity of these instructions — they’re easy to carry out and won’t change anything on your Mac.
These steps are to be taken while booted in “normal” mode, not in safe mode. If you’re now running in safe mode, reboot as usual before continuing.
Below are instructions to enter some UNIX shell commands. The commands are harmless, but they must be entered exactly as given in order to work. If you have doubts about the safety of the procedure suggested here, search this site for other discussions in which it’s been followed without any report of ill effects.
Some of the commands will line-wrap or scroll in your browser, but each one is really just a single line, all of which must be selected. You can accomplish this easily by triple-clicking anywhere in the line. The whole line will highlight, and you can then copy it. The headings “Step 1” and so on are not part of the commands.
Note: If you have more than one user account, Step 2 must be taken as an administrator. Ordinarily that would be the user created automatically when you booted the system for the first time. The other steps should be taken as the user who has the problem, if different. Most personal Macs have only one user, and in that case this paragraph doesn’t apply.
Launch the Terminal application in any of the following ways:
☞ Enter the first few letters of its name into a Spotlight search. Select it in the results (it should be at the top.)

Note: If you don’t have a login password, you’ll need to set one before taking this step. If that’s not possible, skip to the next step.

Remember, steps 1-5 are all copy-and-paste — no typing, except your password. Also remember to post the output.
You can then quit Terminal.

Won't allow me to send emails from one email account

Firstly my z10 won't allow me to send wails from my website email address (my website is with mr site) my last bob worked fine with no issues it was a torch 9800. Mr site say it's not them but suggest I can register with a server company, I checked this but would have to pay for the service. My sim is with BT and they say it's not there problem either and send me back to mr site, I have registered the email account on my z10, so can receive emails but when I reply they don't get sent, Also have a problem with the phone needing my email passwords every now and then, don't know why this is either? Hoping someone can help Linda

Most, but not all, email services are fully compatible with BB10. You might have to configure the account manually to get everything correct...sometimes the email wizard just can't get it correct. You can find you settings via this tool:
KB33444 How to use the Email Account Validation Tool (EAVT)
Then use the Advanced Settings in the email configuration screens and provide all of the settings manually. Normally, that does the trick.
However, if the email account in question has certain restrictions, then there may be no way around it. Some email accounts require your sending device to be "inside" of their network in order to send mail. Often, then can receive, but not send. The email system places a requirement on the SMTP server that does not allow it to be used from "outside", even authenticated. For those types of systems, there really is no workaround...they require the sending device to be "inside", but that cannot be done with a mobile device...catch-22.
I've no idea if mr site is such a service...I've never heard of them before, so have no way to know. But perhaps you can ask them specifically if their SMTP server can be used from "outside" of their network, as long as you provide the proper authentication into the device email configuration (via the manual method I discussed above). If they say that their SMTP server can only be used from "inside", then you indeed are stuck. The only solution I can think of is to find another email provider that does not have such a restriction.

KB33834 Email accounts integrated using POP are repeatedly and incorrectly marked as invalid
I also noticed the problem on some of the earlier BB10 OS levels, but such seems to have settled down with newer versions. But, I can't tell, from what you provided, what OS level you are on.

AS2 is an exchange protocol which mandates the acknowledgement as part of it's specification, whereas File or JMS are transport protocols and hence no exchange level acks can be exchanged for these. Though both File and JMS have transport level acks and on the basis of transport level ack only, B2B considers whether a message has been sent successfully or not. If you need extra layer of ack then you may always use a functional ack.

Send SMS from OS X on Motorola V620 via USB cable?

I have an old PowerBook (Pismo) that I connect to my Motorola V620 and sync the address book on the mobile to the OS X Address Book. I connect the phone to the Powerbook using the phone's USB cable (since the PB has no Bluetooth) and this works fine. But...
I was wondering if there was a way to be able to send SMSes from OS X, using the V620, connecting it with the USB cable to the computer? Or a way to transfer pictures to/from the phone using the USB cable?

Cannot send email from an iPhone to a Outlook group.

My question is simple and I'd like an exactly same answer : Can iPhone users send emails from their iPhone's to one or more groups created in Outlook?
This is my situation: our organization is using iPhone to provide email, calendar, contact, task etc. to some of their employees. We are using Airwatch MDM Agent on user's iPhone because we have an Airwatch server in place. I have an user and she has an iPhone 5 and she has created some groups in Outlook but these groups are not reflected in her Contacts in the iPhone. I have update her phone with the latest update, although I was almost sure that this was not the issue, then I've found some interesting posts on internet saying that this was a known problem for the users with the previous iOS but I thought this might has been corrected with the iOS, apparently not.
Also I've tried ''the trick'' that is posted on several forums with the iCloud but neither so it's working. I am looking for a straight answer, if this works or not on iPhone's?

I am having trouble with the updated HP remote app on Ipad, since the update I can scan the pages in, but then cannot send them via email. This is qute important because i work remotley from the office and rely on getting my design drawings in on a nightly basis

From a quick internet search, it appears I'm not the only one with this particular problem. When I try to send mail from my iPhone from my Aim mail account, the "from" name shows my aim ID with an extension of "@[email protected]". Clearly, with this double domain, the outbound mail cannot go through. I cannot edit that From address anywhere that I can find in order to fix the problem. I've deleted the email account from my phone and re-added it, but the problem continues. Any advice?

First, there is an attempt at deflecting the problem by pointing out all the other great services Yahoo offers. Note the operative word "some". That's the whole reason I am writing the note. I already know that "some" of the services are working. I'm wondering about the one that doesn't so this doesn't help. Next comes pass the buck. Go talk to Apple about it. Windows Phone and Windows 8 Mail App not sending email from Reply/Forward

I have recently upgraded from Windows 8 to 8.1. After a successful upgrade I configured the Windows 8 Mail app to also sync with Exchange (2010 in house server). On my Windows Phone (Nokia Lumia 800) I have the same account configured.
This resulted in the problem that the Mail App and the phone do not want to send any emails that have been created by reply or forward.
The phone gives the following error:
"We weren't able to send this message, so we've put it in your Drafts folder. Before you try sending it again, you can check to see if the address is correct and that no attachments are too large."
The Mail App give the following error:
"There's a problem with sending messages from [email protected] at the moment. Check with your provider for more info."
If I create a new email there is no problem.
I have searched all over the internet for a solution to this problem, but could not find somebody with exactly the same problem.

I cannot send email - error message as follows : 'The sender address (my email address) was rejected by the server smtp.tiscali.co.uk.' I can send email from other apple devices, and the email settings are identical. Any ideas?

For some reason I cannot send email - all was working fine, but now I get the following error message when I try to send email:
'The sender address (my email address) was rejected by the server smtp.tiscali.co.uk'
I can receive incoming mail ok and I can send email from other Apple devices. The problem seems confined to my Mac Book Pro.
