PCCE start up and shutdown procedure..

Folks,
We have Packaged CCE V9.X deployed here on virtualized platform.
We will have planned shutdown next week.I just wanted to know that if the shutdown and startup procedure for enterprise system is applicable to PCCE system as well.

Executing behaviour/classes at AppServer start-up and shutdown

Hello,
Using NetWeaver 6.4 SP16/17.
We have some processing which we need to carry out before one of our applications starts consuming messages from a JMS queue (to set any unfinished processes to a failed state)
We also have some processing which we would like to carry out after the last transaction has been completed when the server is gracefully shutdown, to update the status of some processes.
In WebLogic and other J2EE containers we know of start-up/shutdown classes which allow us to do this processing. However I have been unable to find equivalent functionality in NetWeaver.
My question is what ways are there to do this in NetWeaver, if any?
(I have seen such behaviour hinted at in:
/people/community.user/blog/2006/10/24/applications-and-shared-libraries
"One additional feature of application services are the start-up and shutdown classes."
Tried to find more information on this and failed )

Can you please clarify if you are looking for APIs regarding Application startup/shutdown or Application Server startup/shutdown.
For the later, please correct me if I am wrong, the logging API can be used. To access that, you can check out Java Development. A fair bit of dicussion has already taken place on Logging and Tracing API.
Please let me know if this is not what you are looking for.

Start up and shutdown scripts for Oracle R12 in Windows XP

I succesfully installed R12.1.1 in Windows XP and logged onto the Vision without any issues. But after restarting my PC, I am unable to restart (I dont know how to restart) the services.
I see the other threads that talk about the same scripts in Linux environment.
If anyone knows - how to start and shutdown R12 services in Windows environment, Plz share.

Satellite 2450-201: slow start up and shutdown

I HAVE A SATTELITE 2450-201 AND I RUN ON WINDOWS XP HOME EDITION I HAVE DONE A REGISTRY CLEANER ON EVERYBODYS USER NAME USING REGISTRY FIX 5.5
I HAVE DEFRAGED MA PC AND ALSO OPTIMIZED MY MSCONFIG START UP OBJECTS AND EVEN UPDATED BIOS.
THE RESULT IS EXTREMLY FASTER WHEN I LOGON AND ACTUALLY ON WINDOWS BUT THE SAME OLD VERY SLOW SHUTDOWN AND BOOT UP SO WHAT DO I DO.
THE WINDOWS BAR GOES ALONG AT LEAST 15 - 20 TIMES ON BOOT UP HELP!

There is no much to explain.
Its possible that this happens because of any 3rd connected devices
The fact is also that after a long time of Windows usage the OS doesnt run fast like at the beginning of the OS installation.
During the notebooks usage and installation and reinstallation of many applications the OS goes slower and slower. This is a usually process and from time to time a new OS installation does wonders.
This is all what I can suggest.

I am trying to understand the start-up and shutdown sequence in 11g R2 RAC on Linux(OEL5.8).

Example : Two node RAC. RAC1 and RAC2 instances.
Stopping RAC2 Instance :
=========================
1. Shutdown the Instance running on RAC2
2. ./srvctl stop asm -n csbppmaadbs02
3. ./srvctl stop nodeapps -n csbppmaadbs02
4. ./srvctl stop listener -n csbppmaadbs02
5. Check "./crs_stat -t"
Note 1 : Check the following also for healthy status & If any service of RAC that also we have to check.
6./crsctl check crs
CSS appears healthy
CRS appears healthy
EVM appears healthy
Starting RAC2 Instance
=========================
1 ./srvctl start nodeapps -n csbppmaadbs02
2 ./crs_stat -t
3 ./srvctl start listener -n csbppmaadbs02
4 ./srvctl start asm -n csbppmaadbs02
5. Start the Instance of RAC2
6. ./crs_stat -t

1) /home/oracle/start_oracle.sh
#Script should be ran as Oracle user
cd /tmp
export ORACLE_SID=orcl
export ORACLE_HOME=/oracle/ora9i
lsnrctl start
sqlplus -S /nolog <<ENDSQL
connect / as sysdba
startup
exit
ENDSQL
emctl start dbconsole
isqlplusctl start
NOTE: emctl and isqlplus are optional
2) /home/oracle/stop_oracle.sh
#Script should be ran as Oracle user
cd /tmp
export ORACLE_SID=orcl
export ORACLE_HOME=/oracle/ora9i
isqlplusctl stop
emctl stop dbconsole
sqlplus -S /nolog <<ENDSQL

shutdown immediate

Then what you need:
1) K91oracle_stop (put it in the desired run level)

I want to findout the start time and edn time of a procedure that was executed now.
How i can do this using oracle. Is there any table that will store this information??
or is there any aproach??
My exact requirement is
i am developing a shell script to execute the procedure.
at the end of the unix shell script i i will capture sql/plsql information in a .log file.
i will search for the start and end times from that .log file.
so i want to capture the start time and end time using oracle.

Hi,
There is a table called V$SYS_TIME_MODEL. You can use it as follows to find the time spent in executing a PL/SQL procedure.
SELECT VALUE FROM WHERE
STAT_NAME = 'PL/SQL execution elapsed time');
Execute the above query before and after execution of the pl/sql procedure. The difference should give you the time spent in the procedure.

Apple isnt here. this is a user based forum for technical questions. The solution is to restart, reset, and restore as new which is in the manual after that get it replaced for hard ware failure. if your within your one year warranty its replaced if it is out of the warranty then it is 199$

Solved! Tried everything in the support documents and none of it worked. Massive frustration with Adobe Chat staff who know nothing and just kept telling me to look at the support documents over and over. Finally Anand from Adobe tech support called me (from when I reopened the original support case that gave me the serial number).

hm... that's weird.
Someone at MacRumors suggested to clean the system cache and it seemed to have fixed this issue for him:
sudo chown root:admin / (enter password when asked)
sudo kextcache -system-prelinked-kernel
sudo kextcache -system-caches

In IOS 6 is there any way to schedule the iphone to start up and shut down every day at a given time?

You can schedule it to go into and come out of do not disturb mode though which may or may not give you the same result depending on exactly what you want to achieve.
You can set the schedule in Settings > Notifications > Do Not Disturb.
... but for reasons Apple seem not to want to tell anyone, it's not working at the moment.
