PCH LDB jobs C not coming

Hi Friends-
Am using PCH LDB for one interface with Get Objec event am able to see positions S ,org units O but its not showing
Jobs C only though there are plenty of records in hrp1000 for C , do u have any idea on it ?? pls share .

Jobs not coming to active status

Hi experts,
All the jobs status in bi prod server,even though the planned start date and time is crossed are still in the released state only. But they are not coming to active status. What should i do in order to make these jobs active ?

In sm50 there are 4 BGDS in the status Running.
Please explain what there these BGDS.
Nearly 10 jobs might be running in parallel in a gap of 1 hour
time span. If i delete all the jobs and start running them with
new start conditions with 10 minutes gap will they run
properly ?
How to check whether there is enough work processes to run
the jobs or not in SM50 or SM51 ?

Problem with PCH LDB in HR.

Hi Friends,
I am working on a HR report using PCH LDB. Peculiarly its not returning objects (Positions/Jobs) maintained in other Languages when we select "All" as reporting period. It is returning all objects regardless of language when we select any other reporting periods.
Can any one suggest me what would be the problem and suggestions.

57F4 Chalan is not coming in MIGO Header

Dear Friend,
When I am doing MIGO for a job work PO, In the Header data, Excise invoice tab page, the option for 57F4 chalan is not coming!
The material does not have a master record and and account assignment category is K. The material group is J001 ( Job Work Uploaded Materials).
Can you pls give me a clue to get it in MIGO?

This material does not have a master record. Thus it does not have any material code. TThus I cant not maintain J1ID.
But then what can be done ?

Job is not running in Source system.

One issue I have because of this I am not able to load data into Data sources.
I am in BI 7.0 environment.
when I execute infopackage, total and techinical status are in yellow.
I found in R/3 Job is not running, based on this statement in SM37. from the fallowing.

Job satrt time and end time are same, so job is not running in the sourcesystem, am i right. let me known if i am worng.
It is Standard Data source but in the above statement becasue *result of Customer enhancement:0 records.*
please help me to reslove this issue to load data into BI.
1. what I have to do to run job in source system side.
2. should I take any help from Basis.

These messages are sent by IDoc from the source system. Both the extractor itself as well as the service API can send messages. When errors occur, several messages are usually sent together.
From the source system, there are several types of messages that can be differentiated by the so-called Info-IDoc-Status. The IDoc with status 2 plays a particular role here; it describes the number of records that have been extracted in a source system and sent to BI. The number of the records received in BI is checked against this information.

Output not coming correct

I had developed this code and after all modifications and alterations in it ,i am pasting here bcoz it is still giving the problem that the values of ITAB does not contain the correct data as it keep on repeating the same value for the data in ITFINAL.
Plzz go through this code and help me out as i tried whole day and still it is not coming right.

I had checked the all Interenal Tables and each and every table is having the desiered data except ITFINAL.,it is storing the value of ITAB
i.e. displaying the same record for the data coming from the ITBKPF ,now my problelm is how to display the correct data from ITAB to the ITFINAL which is not able to store this coreect data,plzz help me out in solving this problem .

Message Not coming to XI system

Hello,
Am Facing an issue in Production XI system. The issue is in File to RFC Interface,which is running on Daily basis,there is a daily job to Place the File on FTP server. The Problem is File is Picking by XI and File also archived in Archive directory,but Message not coming to XI system.I have checked in MONI and Sender communication channel,but not able to see any messages.The File Format is CSV,used FCC in sender channel.

Hi Madhu
Please check the communication channel in RWB and see the channel is in error or not.
The channel should show some logs including message id.
Next check the RWB-->message monitoring-->adapter engine
The message could have failed there and hence does not present in MONI.
Finally make sure that none of other communication channels are polling in that same server.
In non-prod environment we some times use the same server credential for DEV and QA.
So if that is the case , then please deactivate the other channel so that you get the message in desired environment.

PCH ldb - hiding fields on standard selection screen

Hi,
I am using PCH ldb in my report. The standard selection screen which appears initially, does not show us the "object selection period" fields directly (it is hidden initially). It is displayed only after the "other period" button is clicked.
The requirement is that the "object selection period" fields should be displayed directly without requiring the user to click on the "other period" button.
When using PNP ldb, it is possible to create a report category and hence this can be achieved in PNP. But i am unable to find any solution for the same in PCH ldb.
Does anyone have some idea about implementing the same.

There are no report categories for PCH.
If you enter some values in the dynpro variables it will jump there automatically.

PCH LDB issue using Evaluation path

Hello,
I have a custom program which uses PCH LDB and runs for positions. The program works fine when I input Position IDs.
When I run with org.unit + evaluation path (O-O-S), the program runs forever. When I checked in debug the program is creating duplicate entries in the output internal table.
As per my analysis, this issue is happening only for org.units having positions more than 600. After processing 599 positions, the standard program sets the INDEX to 0 and resume the processing from 1st position resulting in infinite loop.
Can anyone please help me out in this?

Data Service Management Console (Administrator) not coming up

Hi Experts,
Was wondering if someone can help me a little. I am having issues with the Management console not coming up. This is what the address is:
http://localhost:8080/DataServices
The only message I see is : "waiting for localhost"
I can see that the service Apache Tomcat for BI 4 is up and running.
It was running up until yesterday but today the log-in page just does not come up. Would appreciate any help possible to look into this.
I am also able to successfully click on Impact and lineage Analysis and navigate there. It is only the admin console that won't open.
Just a further information, I setup a couple of real time jobs and thereafter probably something has gone wrong. Is there a way to disable RealTime jobs from outside of the management console?

I am fetching some rich text from DB and showing it on my page. but when rich text is having some data like below..............

Rich text copied from WORD document . And there are some nested bullet lists as well here. Check how it is showing up in report.

Hi Shaikh,
The issue is because the web browser's job is to compress multiple sequence space characters into one and therefore all of the leading spaces are removed.
In HTML placeholder, it should be design.
To workaround the issue, we can add one more character at the begin of the multiple sequence space. We can add one more calculated field to do so:
 1. Double-click the dataset.
 2. Go to "Fields" page.
 3. Click "Add" >> "Calculated Field"
 4. Type a filed name, then in the "Field Source", type the following expression:
 =Replace(Fields!originalHTMlField.Value, "> ", ">.")
 NOTE: This expression replaces each first space with a character ".", and set the color to be white(suppose the report's backgroup color is white too. Then, in the report, it seems there is nothing.)
 5. Now, use this new field in the report, and set its Markup type to be "HTML - Interpret HTML tags as styles".
The multiple sequence space will be displayed as expected.

My Trips and Expenses - Create new expense report is not coming up..

We are facing a issue in T&E that, when we try to click on "Create new Expense Report" from My Trips and Expenses it is not coming up..
And same when we execute the backend application through SE80 it is coming fine.
Please anyone suggest the root cause..

Yes, I just tested this thing out in 11.1.1.5. Please find more details below.
1. I create a sample 'BIConsumer' user.
2. Logged into the BI Server.
3. Navigated to Catalog and clicked on New
4. I could get only two options 'Report Job' and 'Action Intelligence'.
To provide proper privileges,
1. Logged into BI Server as BIAdministrator.
2. Navigated to Administration -> Manage Privileges -> Catalog/
3. Given explicit permissions to 'BIConsumer' to create folders and 'My folders and Dashboard'.
To verify,
1. Logged back to BI Server as 'BIConsumer' user.
2. Now, in the catalog could see 'New Folder' option under 'My folders'
For further analysis, can you please check which roles this particular user is having? You can click on username at the top right corner -> My Account->Roles and Catalog Groups.

(Request for reporting available) is not coming in Cube

Hi All,
I have Cube & DSO.
I added fields in DSO & Cube.
Cube1 has Aggregrates built on it.i added 5 infoobjects on it, Now when i load data from DSO to Cube(Request for reporting available) is not coming up. i cant do reporting on it. can anyone help.

Since aggregates are there on that cube....until and unless you do the roll up that request will not be available for Reporting...
