PCI 7813R 5V Terminal current rating

What's the maximum current load for the 5V terminal on the connector 0 of the the PCI 7813R board? What's the fuse ampere rating of the board?
Solved!
Go to Solution.

Thanks for finding the fuse specs, AKD2M!
Jjapuy, the +5V port on Connector 0 (pin 1/35) on the PXI-7813R can output a max of 0.5 Amps. The output is limited to 0.5 amps per connector.

  • Quisiera conectar sensores digitales al puerto E/S PCI 7356 con terminal board

    I'd like to know what screw terminal board can I use for the 2 Digital I/O ports with 68pin VHDCI connectors in the motion controller PCI 7356. I have 2 NI SHC68-C68-S extra cables and intend to use them to connecto various digital output sensors. I found the UMI7764 but it looks to be conditioned only for motion control axis signals and also requires a different cable: SH68-C68-S.
    Where can I find adapters from a VHDCI 68pin male to a 0.50 D-type 68 pin female cable end? I'd thank for a suggestion on how to implement the digital signal I/O into this digital I/O port for the NI PCI7356 using some sort of breakout board or screw terminal board without having to cut the cable and solder each 68 pins.

  • Current rating on the MBP 17" I7 FW800 Port?

    I have a 17" MBP i7 6,1 for use as a location: digital video (DV) capture device, monitor, clip I/O marker, & rough cut editor with FCP 7 to eliminate the time to capture from tape and to improve shot setup time & quality, etc.
    The DV FW output of the camcorder streams to the MBP FW port where FCP captures it then stores it to a drive.
    I want to use an external 1TB Sonnet eSata Fusion F2 raid 0 (or similar), (fed from an eSata card in the Express card slot) as the "scratch" disc because it can be "bus" powered from the cam and will give both the speed & capacity needed for the "dailies".
    The problem is the Sonnet raid can only be powered from either the FW bus or an external 12vdc battery (I'd rather not use at$200+), or by an AC adapter which may not have a power source at some locations. There is only 1 FW port on the cam & 1 on the MBP and that's the monkey wrench in the plan.
    My question is this: Does anyone know if an FW hub/repeater (like the Unibrain FireRepeater 800) can be used to "mult" the FW port on the MBP into more than 1 port to allow the DV stream from the cam to pass through to the MBP while another port would be simultaneously be providing power to the Sonnet raid? Logic says that there are probably 2 power leads (+,-) in the FW cable but I don't whether or not they will interfere with the data stream?
    Or, is there another diminutive bus powered Raid 0 close to 1 TB with 7200 rpm 2.5" drives that I have over looked?

    I discovered something interesting today. I can recover the airport connection by shutting the lid and then opening it again. I am guessing this works because it shuts the airport down differently than if I simply turn it off from the menu.
    What log file should I be looking at in Console for Airport messages and what would be a good identifier to search on?

  • How to use scb 68(pci 6221) for voltage and current measurement

    hi

    PCI 6221 is DAQ card with 68 terminals and SCB (Shielded Connector Board) 68 is termination board to those 68 pins of 6221 card, so that you can connect signals (to be measured) to appropriate pin of PCI 6221. You might already aware of it.
    Refer to the pin out of PCI 6221 to check which is the correct terminal, for voltage measurements.
    You cannot measure current directly, instead use a resistor of known value (and appropriate current rating), let current (to be measured) flow through it and measure the voltage across that resistor.

  • How to get current logged in user's star rating in SharePoint 2013

    Hi,
    Currently,  I am developing a custom web part to show star rating for documents, everything is done.
    However,when user hover on the star I want a tooltip message("Your current rating is 1..."), similar to what we have
    in libraries(or what the sharepoint by default provides in libraries) . So can I get the user specific rating depending upon
    the logged in user using code(.net or CSOM anything will work)

    using the below code you can get the rated by user along with the rating , it's easier to just notify the user that her already rated the document
    var acontext = new SP.ClientContext.get_current();
    var lists=acontext.get_web().get_lists();
    var l =lists.getByTitle("Documents"); //your document libraty
    var aitem=l.getItemById(27);//Item id
    acontext.load(aitem, "RatedBy", "ID", "Ratings");
    acontext.executeQueryAsync(function(){
    var RatedBy= aitem.get_item('RatedBy');
    if (!SP.ScriptHelpers.isNullOrUndefined(ratings)) {
    for (var i = 0; i < RatedBy.length; i++) {
    var user = RatedBy[i];
    if (user.get_lookupId() == _spPageContextInfo.userId) {
    //show that you already rate it
    break;
    },function(s,e){alert(e.get_message());});
    another way is to use CAML query to check if the current user id is within the RatedBy multi user field

  • How can I convert a 0-50mA signal to 0-5 VDC for use by a PCI-6014 DAQ?

    I have a PCI-6014 DAQ card. I am trying to measure the output of a closed-loop current sensor, which has an output of 0-50mA. When I tried using a 100 ohm resistor as a load (to measure across the resistor to get a voltage input for the DAQ) I get an AC voltage reading! I do not know how to convert the AC Voltage to a varying DC voltage. Most AC-DC converters output a fixed DC voltage (3.3V, 12V, 15V, etc.). Can the PCI-6014 measure the current directly OR is there a method to measure the VARYING 0-5 volt AC voltage? Please be specific, if possible. Thanks in advance!

    Hello,
    PCI-6014 can measure an AC voltage directly. The Test Panels in MAX will show the peak voltage level of a signal, and not the root mean square (RMS) voltage. For example, if you measure the 120 VAC 60 Hz sinusoidal waveform that is available from a standard North American wall outlet, you will see a wave with a peak of about 170 V.
    The conversion between VRMS and Vo is VRMS = Vo/√2.
    You will need to determine whether you expect your AC signal to be in units RMS or peak-voltage and make the conversion, if necessary, using the formula above.

  • Does the max current flow of scxi-1163R channel only 200mA?

    I want to use scxi-1163R and scxi-1326 to control the ASCO solenoid valves(water control).
    The input voltage/current of valve is 24VDC/500mA.
    But the max current of scxi-1163R is just 200mA. Does it mean that i can not directly connecting the valve to module?
    Is there any other solutions?

    Hi Hau,
    I am assuming that you have an external power supply connected to the valves and that you want to use the SCXI-1163R to open/close the circuit. As you stated, the SCXI-1163R has a max current rating of 200mA. Unfortunately, going above the max current rating could damage the relay. However, National Instruments does offer SCXI switches that are capable of handling the current and voltage ratings that you have specified. See the following link (page 4 of the PDF document) for a list of the switches that National Instruments offers.

  • PCIe USB 2 Card

    Can any recommend a plug and play USB 2.0 PCIe card for the current generation of the quad core mac pros?
    I have seen a few tried one (Lacie USB 3.0 - it did not work), but I am hoping to find one that does not require any connection from the power supply and does not need a special driver to run,
    I only need a couple more USB ports.
    Thanks.

    Hi,
    The NewerTech MAXPower eSATA 6G PCIe 2.0 is what I would recommend:
    http://www.newertech.com/products/pcieesata.php
    I imported mine from OWC in the USA, but now you can also obtain this from The Bookyard in the UK:
    http://www.thebookyard.com/product.php?products_id=4993
    It is reasonably priced, and does not require any special drivers.
    The only caveat emptor, which apples to all but the most expensive eSATA cards. is that any drives connected to it will not be bootable.
    Regards,
    Bill
    Oops!
    Just noticed that it was a USB 2.0 card you were looking for, not an eSATA.
    Apologies!
    However, eSATA is much faster than USB 2.0, and it is much better for external drives.
    If you just need more USB 2.0 ports for ancillary items, why not use an external powered hub?

    Bill

  • Ddi_get_iblock_cookie/ Solaris 8/ 66 MHz PCI slot

    I am writing a device driver for a 33 MHz/64-bit PCI card which is currently plugged into an Ultra 60 running solaris 8. I have the following problem:
    The driver works and attaches correctly if the card is plugged into the 33 MHz bus.
    However, when I plug the card into the 33/66 Mhz bus (PCI66 slot 1), the driver fails on a call to ddi_get_iblock_cookie.
    The parameters I am passing to the call are:
    dip = dip passed to the attach function.
    inumber = 0
    iblock_cookie = pointer to return variable.
    ddi_get_iblock_cookie fails and returns DDI_FAILURE. According to the man page this function should never return DDI_FAILURE.
    Any suggestions ?

  • Graphics card replacement: PCI-X or AGP? What's the best GPU out there?

    Hi everyone,
    I want to upgrade 2 Dual G5 (2.0 and 2.5 GHz, both Dual Processors, not the newer Dual Core). Mactracker says that both have 1 AGP and 3 PCI-X Slots. Currently both Macs have the stock ATI Radeon 9600 XT with 128 MB VRAM in the AGP-Slot.
    Now I'm wondering which replacement GPU gives the best "bang for buck" and whether I should go with an AGP or PCI-X model? I don't need 4 monitors so the old GPUs will be removed. What do you think is the fastest available GPU for these G5?
    Thanks a lot!
    Björn

    Hi-
    The ATI X800XT or the Geforce 6800 Ultra are the two top guns in OEM graphics cards for 8x AGP G5's. This page shows relevant data and performance of the top performance cards that have been available for the G5.
    However, all are very hard to find, with OEM cards bringing a premium price. Flashed PC cards (converted to Mac ROM) of equivalent spec/family, will operate as a true Mac card, though none will have ADC ports.
    The top gun of all the 8x AGP cards that can be used in the G5, is the Geforce 7800 GS.
    These cards are available on eBay, or you can flash your own, using the tools/resources at The Mac Elite.

  • XPower CPU Fan Header Current Specs?

    With any bit of luck, I'll be putting together another system using the XPower X58 mobo.  One thing I'm curious about is the maximum current rating on the fan headers, specifically the CPU fan header.  The reason I ask is I've got a Thermalright Venomous X in the one XPower system with 2 120mm fans in a push/pull config with both getting power from the CPU fan header via a 4 pin Y connector (only one RPM sensor connected).  This system is working great and didn't even think about the current draw off the fans and what the CPU fan header maxes out at.  This upcoming system will have the same push/pull config so to give me some piece of mind, anybody know what the maximum current draw is on the CPU header on the XPower X58?
    Thanks!

    Since this is a user to user forum (no paid or full time MSI employees here), it may be best to open a ticket with MSI Tech Support & ask the engineers direct. Doubt anybody here is going to have a clue as to the actual BB X fan header max current.
    Added: Many of us use only the CPU 4 pin header, but for all the other fans, run off the PSU & use aftermarket fan controllers.

  • K9N Platinum and Corsair CM2X1024-6400 **UPDATE - FIXED**

    I'm trying to help a friend with their new K9N Platinum motherboard.  We got everything installed successfully, but after getting into Windows, the machine will just freeze up randomly doing anything, software install, whatever, within a minute, or sometimes as long as 5 or more minutes.
    Basic specs:
    K9N Platinum motherboard
    Flashed to BIOS version 1.4
    AMD Athlon64 X2 3800+ (65W) socket AM2
    BFG Geforce 7900GS
    500W PCI-E power supply
    Wester Digital 120GB 7200rpm SATA HD 8MB cache
    Single 1GB stick of Corsair CM2X1024-6400 RAM (DDR2 800MHz) - Brand New - DIMM slot 1
    Windows XP Professional with SP2 and all windows updates installed. (using IE6)
    Installed all latest drivers from MSI's website for this board.
    We tried 1st with DRAM timings on auto, then tried to set the timing manually according to Corsair's spec sheet for this module, including memory voltage at 1.9V.
    We think it might be a bad memory module, because after getting into Windows, we run memtest, and errors are detected within the 1st minute.  We have RMA'd the RAM module.  I'm wondering though if we just didn't have the timing for the memory set correctly in the BIOS.
    Is anyone here runnning this exact memory successfully, or is this board incompatible with this Corsair module?  If you are running successfully, did you have to change the SPD timings manually, or are you running using the SPD Auto setting?
    If you had to use manual setting, any help with the values to set in DRAM Timing would be greatly appreciated.  As much detail as you can provide would be great.  Thanks for your help.

    Ok, still having major problem with running world of warcraft.  This PC freezes/locks up in the game every single time within 5-10 minutes of play no matter what we've tried so far.  This is not a shutdown or restart problem, just a freeze/lock-up symptom.  I'm getting a bit frustrated at this point.  No other problems in windows are encountered.  We can work in windows with any other application, like adobe photoshop or any other software, with zero trouble.  I'm beginning to think this is video card related somehow with this 7900 GS card.
    For added info, the video card being used is this;
    BFG Tech BFGR79256GSOCE GeForce 7900GS 256MB 256-bit GDDR3 PCI Express x16 Video Card
    Chipset Manufacturer NVIDIA
    GPU GeForce 7900GS
    Core clock 525MHz(vs. 450MHz standard)
    PixelPipelines 20
    Memory Clock 1320MHz
    Memory Size 256MB
    Memory Interface 256-bit
    Memory Type GDDR3
    3D API
    DirectX DirectX 9
    OpenGL OpenGL 2.0
    Ports - DVI 2
    The mouse used is a logitech USB track ball mouse if that has any bearing on anything.  No mouse troubles though, just thought I'd mention it.
    Here's what we've tried so far;
    Updated to BIOS version 1.4.  This was done after the Windows XP install though, so not sure if something is hosed up here.
    1) We set the RAM timings to 5-5-5-12-2T and 2.1Volts in BIOS manually, as per direct recommendation from Corsair.
    1a) Ran memtest all night for about 9 hours straight and no errors at all detected.  So I'm guessing this isn't a RAM problem really, but who knows .
    2) Installed the Windows XP SP2 Hotfix for Dual Core Processors - hotfix KB896256
    3) Installed the AMD Dual Core Optimizer from here -->http://www.amd.com/us-en/Processors/TechnicalResources/0,,30_182_871_13118,00.html
    4) Updated the Nvidia system drivers with the nForce 550/570/570/590 SLI (C51+MCP55) driver package 9.19 WHQL from MSI's website here--> http://www.msi.com.tw/program/support/download/dld/spt_dld_detail.php?UID=730&kind=1
    5) Currently running Nvidia video driver version --> ForceWare Release 90 Version: 93.71 Release Date: November 2, 2006 WHQL Certified.
    6) Ran a complete Direct X diagnostics via dxdiag.  All tests passed successfully.
    7) Tried to install the AMD Athlon™ 64 X2 Dual Core Processor Driver for Windows XP and Windows Server 2003 Version (x86 and x64 exe) 1.3.2.16 from here -->http://www.amd.com/us-en/Processors/TechnicalResources/0,,30_182_871_13118,00.html
    But it would NOT install because it says I have to first uninstall the current driver via add/remove programs, but it's not listed there, before installing this one.  So, I have no idea where to look or how to do this, I'm afraid of messing up the processor driver.  Can someone explain how to install this driver, and would not having this installed possibly be a potential cause of the game lock-ups?
    I don't know what else to do.  Could the version 9.19 Nvidia SATA or IDE drivers I installed be causing these game lock-up problems?  If so, do I just go into device manager and just rollback drivers for all of the devices listed under the "IDE/ATA ATAPI Controllers" in device manager?
    Again, this was a fresh windows XP Pro install on a newly formatted hard drive.  Obviously something is fubar, but I'm running out of things to try.  Maybe going into BIOS and "load optimized defaults" and start over?
    Lastly, the tech specs on newegg.com for this video card say "A 350W PCI Express compliant system power supply (with 12V current rating of 22A or more)" is needed.  Since the 500W power supply we're using has 2 separate 12V rails rated at 20A each, could this be the problem??  I'm open to suggestions.  Thank you.

  • 7950GX2 Changing Colors

    Occassionally my screen will have too much of one color after changing screens.  E.g. it will have a very red tint on the Windows login screen then a yellow tint on the desktop or some other color combination.  Forcing it to change screens will usually fix it, such as changing the screen resolution and the going back to the native size, but it can be an annoying to do this a few times a day.
    I didn't have this issue with my previous graphics cards - a 7800GT SLI setup - so I don't think it's a power supply problem.  I couldn't find anyone with similar problems on the DFI forums so it doesn't seem to be a motherboard problem.
    I've tried different drivers to no success.

    The problem would also crop up sometimes when booting so it doesn't seem to be heat-related.

  • Use of more than one PXI6025E DAQ cards in one computer

    Hi,
    I have connected two PXI6025E cards into one computer on the same PCI bus. However, the DIO ports on the second card do not work. We are using the DIO ports as up/down control for the counters.
    It works fine on the first card but not on the second. When we remove the first card, the second one works fine even in the same slot.
    The problem is that the input impedance of the port is too low. Unless we put a high current input into the card, the signal being inputted is lost. On the card that works, the card sources about 60uA of current but on the card that doesn't work, it sinks up to 1mA.
    Is this is a conflict issue and can it be fixed?
    We need at least 4 counters and 4 analog outputs for our application and there are two of each on each card. Are there alternative methods of doing this?
    Cheers,
    John Gao

    Hi John-
    To clarify, are you saying the the card that works improperly sinks as much as 1mA even when it is the only card running and when it seems to be working properly?  Does the problem always exist on the second card to be started (i.e. one card is running fine but a second card fails when accessed) or is it isolated only to the single problematic card.
    The NI 6023E/6024E/6025E Family Specifications indicate the maximum current sink for a logic "high" input should be 10uA.  The 60uA you are sourcing from the "good" card also seems to be within the 75uA maximum source current rating.
    If the problem seems to be isolated only to a specific card then it is likely that your input may be damaged.  I would suggest testing other digital lines in the port to see if the signal is still degraded by the apparent low input impedence.  If this is not successful please contact NI Technical Support for further troubleshooting help.
    Good luck-
