PCI Graphics Machines Not Supported?

I have a problem, if anyone can help that would be appreciated. I have a PowerMac G4 (PCI Graphics) with a Sonnet ZIF Processor Upgrade card. 1GHz, 1GB RAM, ATI Radeon 9200 128MB RAM, Seagate 750GB SATA connected through Sonnet Tempo Serial ATA card. I have not been able to boot my G4 from the DVD at all. I have all of the minimum system requirements and nowhere does Apple have listed that Processor Upgrade cards aren't supported. I'm thinking about going to the local Apple Store to get another copy of Leopard but I don't want to drive to Los Angeles if it isn't going to work at all. I've held down the "C" key during startup. I also have selected the Mac OS Leopard DVD from the Startup Disk in the Preferences and nothing has worked. Might the DVD be bad? It mounts on the desktop and when I click the install icon it reboots like Tiger did......

Intel Graphics Processors Not Supported!?!?!?

So I read the Logic Studio system requirements and bought the new version for my Core 2 Duo white MacBook, since it fits the specs. I'm just about to install and I read the "Before You Install" doc.
It says about STP and Compressor, "Integrated Intel graphics processors not supported.) Whatthe?
What does this mean? That STP and Compressor won't install on my MacBook?
Shouldn't this have been in the Logic Studio system requirements?
I'm stuck and don't want to install now at all.
Help?

Well, it all installed, though when I launched STP, it threw up a dialog that said it might not work properly with less the 128 MB VRAM. Oh, joy. We shall see.
Apple really needs to put this on their LogicStudio System Requirements page.

Graphics card not supported - GMA X3100

I've replaced a Macbook 2.0GHz from 2006 with 64MB shared video memory with a brand new 2.2 GHz with 144MB shared video memory. But when I start MainStage, I get the message that my graphics card is not supported.
Any idea why is that?
I haven't done any updates. Would that do it?

Graphics card not supported?

I have a 2008 Mac Pro, 8 core, 2.8GHz system. It has the ATI Radeon 2600 video card, with 256MB of GDDR3 RAM. I want to purchase and play the upcoming Bioshock 2 game, but it says that my card is not supported, but I am curious if the game will still play, but maybe at lower settings, or lower frame rate. My question is does "not supported" mean that it will not run at all?

Aperture 3 suddenly telling me Graphics card not supported

I have a Macmini 1.66ghz Intel with GMA 950 card.
I've been using Aperture without issue but tried to open it this morning and received the message that the Graphics Card isn't supported. Running 10.6.3 and the latest version of Aperture 3.
Any ideas??

I am having the full array of problems other people have posted about the upgrade to 10.6.4. I upgraded to Ap3 at the same time. I do not need any other heart ache with my Mac. Please help.

Graphics Hardware Not Supported

Just installed CS6 and wish to use the 3d option to create some text. However I get the window popup telling me that my graphics hardware is not officially supported for 3D.
I have a Nvidia GTX Titan which has 6gb vram.

Could you please post your system info listed in Photoshop's Help > System Info dialog box?
Click Copy, then paste it in a response here.
That will help us determine further what's going on.

Also give the forcing Photoshop.exe to use the nVidia video card in the NVIDIA Control Panel
Right click desktop -> NVIDIA Control Panel
Manage 3d Settings category -> Program Settings tab
under the 1. "Select a program to customize" drop down menu: select Photoshop.exe
for 2. Select the preferred graphics processor for this program: select High-performance NVIDIA processor
Click the Apply button that appears in the lower right.
You will need to reset Photoshop's preferences as well for it to look for your video driver changes.
To do this, immediately after starting Photoshop.exe press and hold Ctrl+Shift+Alt
Click Yes to reset the Photohsop Settings file.
Let us know how it goes from there.

Photoshop detected graphics hardware that is not officially supported. If you experience problems, please uncheck the Use Graphics Processor checkbox in the Performance panel of the Preferences dialog.

It looks like you have a video card that is not officially supported in CS6.

Check out the instructions on turning off OpenGL. You won't be able to access certain features that use the GPU, but you will no longer see the error message.

I am getting the photoshop has detected graphics hardware not supported for 3d...without 512 vRam. I have enough and yet it still gives me the error. I have ATI Radeon HD 2600 Pro 256 MB installed and can't find any updates on adobe? What gives?

Well, which school did you attend to justify your crooked math? When I was at school 256 was less than 512 or exactly half of 512... This simply won't work and nobody can fix it for you. Your graphics hardware is simply completely inadequate, considering that it is like 7 years or so old to begin with.

Fresh MBA does not support WebGL?

Just recieved a fresh new MBA with Lion on it.... Went straight to work on my WebGL project, but could not load the scene at all!
Did a little research and found out it did not work anywhere! Why is this? Does the Intel HD Graphics 3000 not support this? Will there be a patch?
It did not work in Safari or Chrome, but in Firefox it went smooth...

You should chenge browser option.
If you're using Firefox,
type "about:config" in URL bar
find "webgl.force-enabled", "layers.accelaration.force-enabled", "gfx.firect2d.force-enabled", and turn them "true"
If Chrome,
type "about:flags"
find "Override software rendering list", and turn it "Enable"
Though I don't have fresh Macbook air, I think it's worth trying above.

Can PCI 6519 IO card support waveform(digital) output ??

It is quite hard to find out in the spec.
NI group all the series of DAQ board in the spec.
Can anyone tell me if it can support waveform output .
The waveform is about 1Khz

The PCI-6519 does not support hardware-timed digital I/O. You can update the digital output one sample at a time in software, so you are limited by the speed of the computer you are using as to how fast the updates can be.

Jabber 4.4 "Graphics card or driver not supported" error on one machine but not another.

Hi, I looked at the KB document but the email link on it no longer works.
I have two end-users using Jabber 4.4 on identical machines, same specs, same driver build and OS image. One gets the "Graphics card or driver not supported" error, the other does not.
We have two DellOptiPlex 7010's,
Both had 2 instances of AMD Radeon HD 7470 - they are dual monitor machines.
In both cases the driver version 8.922.0.0, Driver Date 12/6/2011. This is the latest Dell has on their website.
On one machine when I run a fresh install for Jabber for TelePresence 4.4 it works fine. But on another the user first gets
"supportabilitytest.exe has stopped working
A oriblem cause the program to stop working correctly. Please close the program."
Then when that's closed out we get:
"Graphics card or driver not supported!
New features in this version of Jabber Video are not supported by your computer's graphics driver.
Update to the newest graphics driver available and run Jabber Video again."
I can't believe it's just a matter of upgrading the drivers because in this case one machine with identical drivers works.

It sounds like the openGL supported version did not install on the one that is failing. There isn't much we can do regarding that error. Best practice is to always upgrade to the latest manufacturer's available driver. Client requirements are below.
Windows 7 (32-bit or 64-bit), Vista, or XP (SP 2 or newer), with OpenGL 1.2 or newer.
For 720p HD video calls, Intel Core2Duo @ 1.2GHz or better.
For VGA video calls, Intel Atom @ 1.6GHz or better.
Webcam, built-in or external. You need an HD webcam if you want other callers to see you in HD.
Broadband Internet connection with a recommended bandwidth of 768kbps upstream and downstream. You need about 1.2Mbps upstream and downstream for 720p HD video calls.

Installed graphics card does not support the opengl features recommended

I've installed FCP6 on my PowerMac (PPC G4 DP 1.25GHz), and when I run it, I get a warning ("...installed graphics card does not support the opengl features recommended...") and the program ends. The graphics card is the ATI Radeon 9000 Pro (64MB)
I'm looking for a definitive answer regarding my hardware compatibility with FCS2 (specifically, FCP6). I'm NOT looking for an answer along the lines of: your system is too old to run this.
I've checked the minimum system requirements from the apple website (http://www.apple.com/finalcutstudio/specs/
and http://www.apple.com/finalcutstudio/download/):
* A Macintosh computer with a 1.25GHz or faster PowerPC G4, PowerPC G5, Intel Core Duo, or Intel Xeon processor
* 1GB of RAM
* An AGP or PCI Express Quartz Extreme graphics card (Final Cut Studio is not compatible with integrated Intel graphics processors)
* A display with 1024-by-768 resolution or higher

I have all that stuff. What I'd like is to know which component of my system is FCP6 complaining about (vis-a-vis the error message above), alternatively, if someone has had success with a similar configuration, I'd like to know anything they think might help.

The minimum would probably be an nVidia Fx5200 or an ATI 9600...

To run Mouitain Lion you need to update Logic.
For the updaters to work the Logic application must be:
a) Within the Applications folder, and not in any sub-folder
b) Named "Logic Pro" with no extra numbers or spaces

This means that your NAS does not support the required encryption. Update your NAS to the latest firmware or ditch it and buy a Time Capsule (they are the most reliable when using TM).
