PCI Scans find emails that I can't find

I am running PCI PAN scans (looks for credit cards, social security, drivers licenses) for compliance.  It has found emails in a few users' Outlook email files (ost).  We go looking for those emails and can't find them.  Part of the issue
here is that each person has several mailboxes loaded into their ost file (customer service and backing up people who are out of the office).
I found a tool Kernel OST Viewer that helps some but doesn't have the option to delete the emails that I do find.
One of the other people I worked with found that by pressing the window key and start typing information found in the email, that it would sometimes find the offending email.
So I need some way of easily finding offending emails and deleting them so that I can pass the PCI PAN scans.
Please remember that a solution has to be able to cross all the email boxes that are loaded onto individual machines and that some people have (in the GB range) large mailboxes (just their own).

According to the description, I know that there are some emails cannot pass the scans and you want to find them, then delete them, however the emails can't be found. Please correct me if there is any misunderstanding.
If my understanding is right, please follow me to narrow down this issue.
1. To avoid caches reason, I suggest try to re-create profile for the specific users to refresh the caches. Or try to scan Outlook under Exchange Online mode.
2. Please also try to find these emails in Junk E-mail Folder.
3. I suggest use MFCMapi tool to verify whether the emails exist. If yes, please use MFCMapi tool to delete the emails.

    Weird.
    Someone might stop by who has experienced/fixed/read about this before.  In the meantime...
    By "re-indexed my email" do you mean you rebuilt the mailbox via the "Rebuild" command in the Mailbox menu?  Did you try that for all the affected mailboxes?
    Also, you might try experimenting with the settings in Mail, Preferences, Accounts having to do with whether junk mail messages are stored on the server and whether they are to be deleted.
    Does this behavior persist when you are not connected to the internet?

    You may change your Apple ID to any email address that is not already used as another Apple ID, or that is not already associated with another Apple ID.
    In other words, if I have an Apple ID [email protected], and have alternate email addresses of [email protected] and [email protected], none of them may be used by me or anyone else for an Apple ID, Rescue Email, alternate email, or anything Apple-related.
    If the Apple ID link above indicates your email is already in use then it is. Use https://iforgot.apple.com, select Forgot your Apple ID? and provide the information requested. If the email address is one you created and can still access, you may be able to retrieve it. If it is one someone else created, you will not.

    Try turning the account off and on : Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars , then tap the account on the right, slide Mail to 'off', exit settings and go back into the Mail app, and then go back to Settings and slide Mail back to 'on'

    Try a reset ..
    Press and hold the Sleep/Wake button and the Home button together for at least ten seconds, until the Apple logo appears.
    If that doesn't help, tap Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings
    See if that makes a difference ..

    You cannot and need to ask Apple to reset your security questions; ways of contacting them include phoning AppleCare and asking for the Account Security team, clicking here and picking a method for your country, and filling out and submitting this form.
    They wouldn't be security questions if they could be bypassed without Apple verifying your identity.

    This will open your profile in a explorer window.
    You emails are in mboxes under mail /account-name/ (for pop and local folders))
    and imapmail/account-name for imap-accounts
    Your emails are NOT stored separately they are in containers (mboxes) in the way they were delivered. Attachments are still part of the email and are not unpacked.
    The mbox is the one without an extension. (for example INBOX) some parts is readable
    I doubt brother MFC-scan can work on those. Sometimes if there is a virus in one mail the whole INBOX would be deleted, that is '''all''' emails would be gone from that box.
    It has been discused how a antispam-ware could work. It can on pop-account without security, (not crypted). Otherwise it has to decrypt, valuate, and recrypt. Like a man in the middle.
