PCIe X-Fi Titanium, no 2.18 drive

Hello, I got a PCIe X-Fi Titanium soundcard and there new drivers for the cards avaiable, but I can't find one for this new PCIe version.
Is there a driver in development or where can I download a new one for this card?

No word from Creative, no workarounds, and I don't think anyone is working on modified drivers for this.
I doubt that Creative will add this feature in any new driver releases. My guess is that we won't see it, ever.

SoundFX suddenly not working with PCI-Express SB Titanium and Windows 7 HP 64

Hi guys,
I bought myself a PCI-Express Sounblaster Titanium bulk last friday.
I downloaded some drivers (sorry, I have no idea what Version?) and an Update to the latest official Version (2.7.0007). When I first tried tu use VoiceFX it worked and I was astonished. Its seemed a real cool gimmick.
Strangely, when I tried it again the next day the VoiceFX buttons where still there under the Audio Config thingie, but my voice did not change anymore when I chose for ex. Robot or Ork. It did not matter what I chose, my voice always stayed normal.
Since then I've deen doing nothing else than to deinstall, reinstall drivers, deleting driver traces, trying again. My worst case was that the VoiceFX did not show at all anymore, my best case was as described above.
I even treid the new beta Drivers.
Does anyone have a solution?
If not, can anyone tell me what dependancies VoiceFX has? Is it enough to install only the drivers or does it need something else as well?
With which Driver Version does it definitely work under Win 7 64?
Oh yeah, I have I microphone which I can switch to Mono or Stereo, does it only work with one of the two? Mine was mostly in Stereo mode. (It comes from a company (dunno which one) thats got nothing to do with computers, games or creative, it's one of those Microphones you connect to your tie).

Thanks for the info mate I heard there issue with lanucher the set I reupload soon. Those packs are from somewhere else don't want get into trouble if you know what I mean. Unless you got links with out from other person if you know what I mean.

I'm going PM me If maybe you can help be my tester for this I don't have asp go to person I do have couple who help me out and they said it works I might be missing your Device ID in the suite. I always help people out if they need in my threads. I always go do crossloop if you still can't get your issue solve it's what I do.

Titanium 2.17.0008 Driver SVM Problem Hissing Sound

I updated yesterday my driver from 2.7.0007 to 2.7.0008.
All seems to work except the SVM option. When enabled I get a hissing sound. This applies to all modes, i.e. game, enternatinment and audio creation. This issue did not occur with version 2.7.0007.
Is this a known bug? Does anyone else have this issue?

Z600 workstation missing pci data acquisition and signal processing controller driver

I just installed Win7 Pro x86 on my Z600 workstation. It was an upgrade from WinXP Pro. In Device Manager I am missing the driver for the PCI Data Acquisition and Signal Processing Controller and Hardlock USB 1.02. Can someone assist me in finding these drivers. I looked on the Support/Drivers page for this model but couldn't find anything.

PCI-MIO16XE-50 with DAQmx; Reset traditional driver

I am developing a C++ application using DAQmx on Windows XP. I have two boards for testing- a PCI-6229 and an old PCI-MIO16XE-50. Whenever I run my application, I get an error back when I attempt operations on the MIO16:
-89130 Device not available for routing.
The 6229 works fine.
The solution is to go to MAX, right-click on Traditional Devices and select Reset. An alert tells me that the driver was reset, then I can access the MIO16 from DAQmx calls.
Although I have Traditional NI-DAQ installed, I haven't been using it. Why should I need to reset it?
I am using NI-DAQ 7.1; would this be fixed by upgrading to 7.4?

There has been a recent (7.4 timeframe) fix for the PCI-MIO-16XE-50, but it has to do with DMA support under DAQmx, not the problem you're describing.
If you haven't been using traditional DAQ at all, I'm a bit stumped as to why you're seeing this problem. In the hopes that we can figure this out together, here's an explananation of what we did to make the Traditional DAQ & DAQmx drivers interoperable with each other:
Prior to DAQ 7.0, the behavior of nidaq32.dll was that when the DLL loaded, it would enumerate the configured devices, and initialize the driver code for each device. We changed this in DAQ 7.0 such that the device initialization wouldn't happen until the first API function was called to use the device. Also, we changed the device initialization code to call into DAQmx to disable the DAQmx driver for that device. Finally, we added code to re-enable the DAQmx driver when the Init_DA_Brds or Device Reset.vi was called (or when the "Reset Driver for Traditional DAQ" MAX menu option is invoked), or whenever the nidaq32.dll is unloaded from all processes.
So, you should only see the behavior you are seeing if the nidaq32.dll is loaded by a currently running process AND if a trad. DAQ API call has been invoked on the PCI-MIO-16XE-50 in that process. It makes sense that you're not seeing this behavior with the M-Series device, because it's not supported by traditional DAQ at all.
Can you double-check that there is not another process running on your system that has loaded nidaq32.dll? You can use the "process explorer" utility, available for free download from www.sysinternals.com, to search for processes that have nidaq32.dll loaded.
If you don't find anything, then this could be a bug. Since DAQ 7.4 fixed the DMA issue with the MIO, you'll probably want to get this version of the driver anyway, which may have resolved the issue (though I don't remember such a bug). If you can reproduce this with DAQ 7.4, we'll still have an unsolved mystery. In that case, let us know and we'll try to reproduce your problem here.

P6N SLI Plat + Adaptec 1220 pci-e sata card = lockup and no drive detection

Well today my adaptec aar-1220sa pci-e sata adaptor card came in and I was eager to install it. My first attempt to boot up without a drive attached was met with a slow bios screen and then when windows vista finally got to the desktop none of my usb peripherals would work. I flashed the card to the latest bios and installed the newest adaptec drivers and if I hook my wd sata drive to it I cannot boot. If I leave it in with no drives attached it will let windows boot however the usb hub is out and I have to remove it in device manager and then reinstall it in order to get my mouse and other usb devices back up and running. I was wondering if anyone else had tried this card and if you got it to work what did you do? So far for me it will not detect any sata drive that I hook up to it. Thanks.
PS: I'm going to rma this thing as I've never had a drive controller behave like this thing does. I don't think that it was ready for prime time yet.

I have used 2 eSATA cards on previous systems. Always ran like garbage and screwed up the boot process. Thats why i got the p6n plat with the esata onboard so I'd have no problems. My guess is you were having an IRQ conflict.

Vista x64 and PCIe X-Fi Titanium Optical Problems

I am running Vista x64 SP and I have the 2.7.0004 drivers installed and when I try to use Dolby Li've or DTS, I can't use because everything says the current device is in use. I can't get optical to work with my Z-5500 speakers. It works fine on my XP SP3 though. I have dual boot XP/Vista x64.

something else to check even tho you maby already have done is checking if the checkboxes for full controll of the SPDIF is on in windows 7 (I dont know anything about 2008 so cant comment on that) but i know that that 2 checkboxes need to be checked for the digital sound to pass trough to the analog 6 channel wich is needed for your speakers.
just to be clear were talking about the same checkboxes as im not sure how its called in english exactly.
in windows 7 in the lower right? rightclick ont eh speaker and select playback devices
then select SPDIF out and select properties.
then go to advanced and make sure both checkboxes under exclusi've mode are checked.
from my experience it also highly depends on what program you use as not all movie/mediaplayers decode the digital signal to 6 channel analog correctly.
i myself prefer classic media player and in that program i had to rightclick the screen select the audio options and set to to decode to speakers from spdif.
i not sure how exactly your setup is set up but i know figuring out how everything should be set or even finding some settings is a massi've pain.

Sooo..Vista x64 + PCIe X-Fi Titanium = No 5.1 thru SPIDF

I recently purchased this card in hopes of (and only real reason) connecting my ps3/360 to obtain 5. surround sound. I have searched thru the forums and it appears that decoding 5. thru the optical in is a no go (well at this time anyway). I can hear stereo sound which lets me know that it can decode something thru the optical in. Has anyone found a workaround for this? I know that there are modified drivers being worked on but I would like to find out why sell something that should be able to provide the said features.
Does anyone know if Creative is working on officials drivers or will we all have to rely on something else to use this feature?

External Drives Won't Mount with SIIG Fire WIre 800 PCI Card

I can't get any drive to mount using this card. It's the SIIG FW 800 3 port PCI card. I've also got the SIIG FW 400 and I think a Belkin 5 port usb PCI card. I've removed the other cards leaving just the 800. I've moved them all around into different slots. Nothing Changed. I've reset the PRAM and the NVRAM. I've Unplugged system and let it sit for a while. I've had only one drive connected to the 800 card and no other 400, 800 or usb peripherals connected. That didn't help either. Again, this is the second card, so I have to assume that the odds of getting to bad cards in a row is a long shot... right? I have to assume that it's the G5 but the other cards work when put into any of the PCI slots. I know all the drives work. I'm just kind of baffled here. Oh, and in the system profiler the drive shows up as "Unknown Device" but it never mounts on the desktop. Also drives connected to the 800 PCI card don't show up in programs like Diskwarrior or Drive Genius. Starting the drive while Disk Utility is open also does nothing. So, I'm at a loss. I spoke with SIIG tech support and they said they had no idea but they could test the card if I send it to the. That would at least confirm or deny if the card is faulty. I think the card is ok and the mac is just messing with it somehow? Any Ideas? Could resetting the PMU help? I've also cleared my cache and defragged and rebuilt the data directory and all the usual utility stuff. So the system is peppier but still no drives mounting on the 800 pci card? Please shout out if you have an idea... Thanks..

I eventually gave up. I will probably get another card at some point but it probably won't be a SIIG card. Even though they are recommended by digidesign I just doesn't seem to want to work with my G5. Maybe it's some kind of weird software conflict blocking the functionality of the card? Don't know. Two cards in a row were non functional. Something is gummin up the works and the PCI slots work with the other cards I have. The only thing I did not try is plugging in the optional power connection to the FW800 card, which is supposed to be optional. I called SIIG and they had no idea what the problem was and they also said that the power plug would not make a difference for the problem I was having. Anyway, I'm gonna keep monitoring posts to this cause I'd love to hear the answer.. but I'm throwing in the towel. Good luck to the rest of you still trying to solve the riddle.

Need help on Inspire t 6200 and PCIE XFI titanium Fatality pro series

I need help on this.
I have PCIE X-FI Titanium Fatality Pro Series. and I just bought 5. Speakers Inspire t 6200.
However, I have some problems.
1. In Mass Effect or Other game Or dvd I cant make the center work. It means you can hear the music and background sound clearly but no Voice at all that ussualy come from center channel.
2I Tested over audio controler from the disk. When I put 5. speaker configuration, the sound is coming from center and left channel for left channel and same thing for the other side. However, When the test is trying to test the center and rear speake, the sound are muffled.
3. Is X FI only for Headset only or you can use Pc Speaker ? And how to configuration for Inspire t6200 with my sound card.
I am using Windows xp sp 3
4g Ram
Pentium dual core Extreme?
