PCNS -- forest Subdomain -- the SPN you Specified could not be found on any accounts in this domain

Hello there Fim lovers,
i'm having few issues with PCNS hope you can help out,
so my Active directory Infrastrucutre is made out of a Root Domain "company.net" and lots of subdomains
"sub1.company.net", "sub2.company.net" ....
the FIM Server and service accounts are all in the Root domain and my users are in the subdomains as is the case usually...
i ran the setspn on the service account in the root domain then ran the pcnscfg on the subdomain DC where my users are stored...
i get the following warning :
The Service Principal Name you specified could not be found on any accounts in this domain. (which is normal since the service account is in the root domain)
did i do smthn wrong ? or can i ignore this warning ?

Within the last few days OSD from within the OS has started to fail. The error it provides is
The software could not be found on any servers at this time. I find this error misleading since I can PXE, connecting to the same server, and the OS installs without issue.
For giggles I did try and install some updates and other software from the server and they installed using Software Center. With that my boundaries are setup and the client is communicating with the DP.

I have a feeling the final line is the indicator to my problem, but I dont understand why. Unfortunately this seems to be happening at other sites as well.

I checked the boundary groups and made sure that they had at least 1 site server assigned. I also checked the permissions of Production (not-working) to Test (working) and they line up. When I choose 1 application/update to install the line

changes to 1. I also do not have the servers DP set to pre-deploy, if I recall that is the wording on the first tab of the DP settings. Also browsing the HTTP address provides results.

The file aqq12s0m.sys could not be found during Win XP installation

When I try to reinstall XP pro I receive message "The file aqq12s0m.sys could not be found. press any key to continue." and when I press it, comp restarts.
Any clue about that file?

is this the original recovery CD or a genuine Windows XP installation disk??
Following reasons for that problem:
- Disc is damaged or scratched or warped or simply not working
- CD/DVD drive has some problem
- Some piece of hardware does not work properly
- Memory could be faulty
Try to exclude these points and you will get the answer on that file.
Usually, such problem appears (I mean with a non-working file) when the CD is scratched or the drive does not work like it should..

CF8 Verity "The collection you specified does not exist or is not registered with the ColdFusion Search Service."

I'm running ColdFusion 8 Enterprise on linux. I'm able to
create collections and index them through cfadmin as well as in cfm
application pages, but when trying to search I get the error
"The collection you specified does not exist or is not
registered with the ColdFusion Search Service."
I'm using the collection name in cfsearch and not the full
path.

While upgrading to CF7 from CF5, I am creating the new collections from Cf Admin. After creating, I indexed it from cf admin and then trying to search for the documents in that collection, and i am getting the following error. This was working yesterday. I have cheched the logs etc and nothing seems helpful in discovering what the issue is.
Document count is 11,745 and the size is 25,948 kb, which is not too much for a collection. I have tried to restart Cold Fusion Search Services and then ColdFusion Application services, but all in vain.
Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

So at last I figured this out myself and found a temporary resolution for this kind of problem. Majority of the times try creating the Collection through Cfcollection tag and then index it using cfindex tag, rather than performing these operations from the Cold Fusion 7 administrator.
The only reason I can think of which might have caused the issue is – I have thousands of documents in the collection which I indexed. So while indexing the page gets expired. So I tried again to index it. This time the collection got indexed fairly quickly and I got the response that the collection has been indexed successfully. So for the first time when I tried to index the collection, there might be some piece of code, which did not register the collection properly and hence giving this error.
When I did the same function using the code, with exactly same set of documents, it did not throw any error, even when I executed it for the first time. So the collection indexed properly.
I am not claiming that technically this theory is correct, but this seems to be the problem.
If someone knows technically what has happened at the back, please share it. For the time being, this is the fix – if you experience any problem in creating/indexing collections through cfadmin in CF7, do it thorough code.

Tried removing dashes from filename, shortenign filename, moving to root directory. No changes. File ends with a .pdf extension.
This is my first attempt to distribute via acrobat.com

I found that I got that same message using Acrobat Professional to send out a document for shared review. I had an exclamation mark in the title of the PDF. When I took out the exclamation mark, it worked.
So maybe try taking out anything "unusual" (parentheses, dashes, exclamation marks, etc.) in the file name and see if that helps.

Trying to sync voice memos I get "was not copied to the iphone because it could not be found"

I recorded some "voice memos" on my iPhone 5 (iOS 6.1.3). I now just want to get them onto my computer. I have followed the instruction from other posts and selected the "Include Voice Memo" checkbox and also the "Voice Memo Genre" checkbox located on the Music tab. I then click on Sync and get the following error ... "Some of the items in the iTunes library, including ----- were not copied to the iPhone because they could not be found". So I understand that the memos were not copied to the phone ... this is good since I already have then on the phone. I want, instead for them to be copied FROM the phone to the computer. So what's the problem I thought that SYNC'ing meant copying new files from the iPhone to the computer as well as vice versa.
The Voice Memo is toolarge for me to simply email to myself so I need to understand what is causing this so that I can get around it. I have noticed that when I attempt to "Organize Library" and check "Consolidate Files" (suggested by some forum somewhere) when I close the dialog box and sync again, that when I return to the "Consolidate Files" checkbox i see that has actually cleared itself and is no longer checked. I am not sure if this is related or not.
I have a very business recording that is on my iPhone and MUST get this audio off the phone ASAP. Any help would be appreciated.

The dialog tells you the path to the song is wrong/not there. Make sure you can play it in iTunes.

I had the same problem. Go to your confirm email and click the link with the verizonwireless.com/iphoneorder thing. Then under the start order button push that. and it will bring up the status page.

I`m receiving the message "The connection parameters file could not be found" every time I try to access my local sybase data base from dbisqlc.exe. I work with Sebel 78 and I have entered as parameters my ID, my password and the path to the .dbf file.
Could anyone please advise?

Try specifying the ODBC Data Source [Create an ODBC Connection] and specify the Data Source File (.DSN) in the Login Tab of (dbisqlc.exe) under
"Choose an ODBC datasource to supplement the connection parameters" section.

The only way to get this working, is working via UNC to the local drive S-drive
C:\Users\Administrator>wbadmin start backup -backuptarget:\\myserver\s$\backup -exclude:s: -allCritical -include:C:,R: -quiet
However, the backup succeeds with these warnings:

Some of the items in the itunes library were not copied to the ipad because they could not be found

Hi All, problem with my ipad mini. When trying to copy music over I get the following "some of the items in the itunes library were not copied to the ipad because they could not be found". I reset the ipad, as new, not a backup copy, and managed to rectify the problem, right until I downloaded IOS 6.1.3, now the problem is back and the previous solution does not work. The songs can be easily transferred to my ipad and iphone, so they are no problems with the itunes library.

The issue is in iTunes, not the iPad.
In the itunes music library go to the songs that you miss, rightclick and choose "show in Finder", that results in "not found" and you have the option to locate (and "connect" them), if they are gone from your computer, you will have to restore them from a backup or TM.
