PCR Adobe Forms & ISR

Hi,
I have MSS implemented in portal EP 6.0 & PCR. Now i have designed one Adobe Form for displaying some data in ISR Customization but i dont know how i integrate this form to PCR in portal ?
How to include it in portal MSS->PCR workset or page so as to make it visible in MSS?
Also i would like to ask can i integrate this adobe for in webdynpro & if yes how ?
So that i can create an iview in portal refering to the application in webdynpro for this form.

I'm a bit new also relating ISR/PCR customizations, and in fact I need a help to get some heads up on how to start a validation(such as which BAPi should I choose, how to fill settings and so on).
I read the bellow presentation, but I'm looking for someting more technical(such as a "how to" about creating a validation).
Do you have any further info about it?

Updating PCR Adobe Forms to Layout Type ZCI

I came across OSS Note: 956074 and am trying to determine if the PCR Adobe Forms we are using need to be update to layout type ZCI.
When I execute the program in SA38: FP_CHK_REPORT and provide ISR_FORM_SPSE as the form I am getting a logon box to AdobeDocumentServices/Config. I provide the ADSUser ID and Password that has been created. After attempting to logon three times, I received the following error message.
ADS: SOAP Framework error: SOAP Runtime Exception: CSoa(ADS)
Does anyone have suggestions for troubleshooting this error message?

No the password for ADSUser has not expired and the setting is checked so that it won't expire and does not have to be changed.
I do realize that all the forms need to be updated. When I try to manually change the layout type to ZCI for each form through SFP I am not able to reactivate the forms. When I click the activate button I get the same logon box as when I run FP_CHK_REPORT. I provide the ADSUser ID and Password that has been created. Webdynpro for ABAP - Adobe form ISR based

Hi,
We are building a custom HR application to automate various HR processes
like New Hire, Termination, etc.. Due to certain internal issues we are
unable to use the standard business package for MSS (and hence PCR screens
with adobe forms). We have to create custom webdynpro abap screens for the
whole application. Now i would like to check if there is a possibility to
use the ISR framework with a custom webdynpro abap application.
I checked the transaction QISRSCENARIO but i could not find any option for
webydnpro abap in "Entry type for Web".
Have anyone of you tried such a scenario earlier with ISR's? Is there any other way
that we can use webdynpro ABAP applications with ISRs? Or do we have any
work around for this.

Let me explain you the issue in detail:
Currently Client is calling ZFORM thro Java. They have some issues with JAVA so they want to use Webdynpro to call that ZFORM and the form is ABAP Dic based.
For Templete source I gave ZFORM name, and it automatically created a 'NODE' wrt the context in the ZFORM.
Now I have to pass data from difft node attributes to that 'NODE'.

PCR Adobe Form generation error

Hi,
I am trying to create PCR. I followed ISR Cook book from Service market place. When i try to save Adobe form it is asking me to activate the form when i say activate it it is giving error.
An error occurred when generating the Adobe Form
Message no. QISR402
What could be the problem?? How to solve this??

You can try the following..
In the backend use Tcode SE91.. fill in QISR as the Message Class & 402 as the Message Number and click on the 'Where-Used List' icon in the menu.. If the message is not triggered dynamically, it will take you to the program where it is triggered.. may be that will help you locate the error..

PCR -Adobe form error

Currently employee on clicking the PCR iview can see employees under him
but when he selects an employee and clicks iview "change area and subarea"

PCR Adobe Form

Hello guys,
I'm trying to make a copy of a standard PCR scenario but I'm not able to do it.
When I make a copy of a standard scenario I have to generate a new form template based on the form of the standard scenario and, them, I doesn't change anything but, when I check the consistency, I receibe a lot of erros like these: FORM ZKIEL, Node NOTIF_NO Field GENERAL_DATA-HEADER-NOTIF_NO has a conversion routine (see SAP Note 796755).
I have already read this Note but I couldn't resolve this problem.
Someone can help me??

Hi Daniel,
It just means it's not enough to bind the field - you also need to change the field type on the Adobe field to a text field so it can cope with whatever dadta the conversion exit sends.
So you need to go through each SAP field it is complaining about and change the matching Adobe field.
Did that not work for you?
There are also some settings on the PCR in QISRSCENARIO e.g. to allow data conversion. You should see them if you drill down on the scenario name, and/or using the Additional settings buttons (depending on your version).

PCR adobe forms: change logo

Hi All,
We are implementing MSS PCR scenarios and the requirement is to replace the SAP logo with the company one.
To do this, we can take a copy of the standard form 'ISR_FORM_SPEG' to 'ZISR_FORM_SPEG' and change the logo.
Now, can we assign the custom form for a standard scenario definition in QISRSCENARIO (replacing the standard form)? Is this setting sufficient to trigger the custom form instead the standard one?. Is there any further settings or configuration we need to make it work.
What is the best way to make this change. Please share your experience.

Note: We are on EP 7.0 and ECC 6.0.

In my project, configured 5 Custom PCRs as copy of standard PCR and enhace it. When Full authorization USer ids, am able to execute the all PCR-Adobe form and complete the process.
When i logo to portal with Z role authorization (with respect to Client), am bale to execute only 3 PCR and remaining 2 PCS display the following error message.

Hey Hi,
IF you are familiar with authorizations in PFCG trabsaction you are finaliar with S_DEVELOP if not ask the authorization team on your project.
Basically this authorization object handles the read/write etc authorization related to devlopment objects. If you implement Adobe forms you will probably develop your own forms or at least copy the SAP forms to customer namespace.
For Adobe you will therefore have 2 custom development objects (1 for the form and 1 for the interface that is automatically generated). The end-user shoulf have at least READ access to these objects. If not the portal will trow an error on this.
To determine the tech names of the objects find the form and related interface in transaction SFP. These should be inserted in the object S_DEVELOP in the role for the end users.
You may want to consider to put the value Z* in the object which will give authorization for all the custom developed objects.
If you can't find the object reply again and i will send a screenshot.
Finally, make use of the splended transaction ST01!! It will make your life a lot more easy in portal! It traces all the authorizations needed and missing for any user you specify. After activating the trace and running a portal scenario the log will tell you want went OK and what not on an authorization object level.

How to increase performance of adobe forms of MSS Business package

We have implemented MSS business package with PCR adobe forms.
Portal NW04 SP18, ERP 2004 , ADS is Nw04sp16 and abode reader 7.0.7.
we have develped own PCR using existing ISR frame work.
every thing working fine.but user facing performance problem like some times while opening pcr form ,browser gets hang up.
Is there any way to increase performance of adobe forms of PCR.

Hi!
Interactive Forms need a lot of performance on the client side. If the client hangy up I think this is realted to client issues.
Also I would update the forms server to be the same version as the other NW components (Portal).

Adobe Form Data Storage

When a user fills up a PCR Adobe Form from the portal where does the data or information is stored?
There should be a fundamental way that SAP stores Adobe form data. I want to understand how and where this data is placed in SAP prior to it updating the employees infotypes so I can retrieve it and report on SAP and non-SAP fields.
Same concept as in interface: data is sent from a file to SAP to update the back end. The file is stored separately from the back end up date data so it can be referenced later for support or other requirements. Same for the Adobe form data it needs to be maintained the same way for future reference and current reporting.

Well take the case of adobe forms based on web dynpro technology. Here the data is stored in context which are bean like structures and can store and transfer data to any system.

Interactive Adobe Form and Search Helps

Does anyone know how to implement a Search Help in an Interactive Adobe Form? I have a requirement to fill a field with a manager and I have 17500 of them to choose from! Tried a Dropdown list, but it is not really appropriate, unless theres a way of entering a wildcard in the input field and using it to limit the dropdown list.
I am implementing the Transfer Request PCR SPTR in MSS 60.1, this PCR Adobe form is not delivered by SAP and I need to develop it.

Adobe form/reader error

Hi
We are working on PCR forms in MSS and having some issues with certain forms.
I am UNABLE to select any option in the PCR Adobe form's DROPDOWN LIST
BOX and any Adobe form which has a dropdown list comes up with an error
message "message limit exceeded. Remaining n errors not reported" when 'n' could be any number.
We are on EP 7, ECC6.0 (NW2004s) and Adobe Reader 7.0.8
I tried this with and without the xACF component, still having the same issue.
Any recommendations on how to solve this?

Hello Michael,
All the PCR forms are ZCI ased forms. Hence, working with or without ACF does not make a difference. Most probably, you are missing the dynamic mapping for the DDLs. Please open the form in the designer and select the DDL. Under the "Object" > "Binding" tab, click on the "Specify Item Values" link. This will popup a "Dynamic Properties" window. Could you please tell me what do you see there ? If you have not changed this dynamic property you will see the following entry: "$record.sap-vhlist.REPLACE_THIS.item[*]". You need to replace the "REPLACE_THIS" portion with the appropriate context structure here for the DDL under consideration. For example, if you have a context structure as follows:

Your SOM expression should look like:

Now, let us take a more complex context structure:

Notice how the "\."s are inserted in between to separate the context structure. Make sure that the node names are correct. When the changes are done, please redeploy the application and try again.
Note: Please do not change anything inside the "DO NOT MODIFY" section. If you think that there is a bug or a problem with the code, please report it to SAP immediately. That way we can avoid any potential conflict.

Problems!: calculated fields in Adobe Forms using the ISR/PCR framework.

I have made an Adobe form in the ISR framework. Everybody who is familiar with these forms in the framework knows that the adobe form is embedded in a standard webdynpro which consist of a roadmap with three steps.
Step 1: Fill out the form
Step 2: Check and fill the form
Step 3: Submit the form. After submit the form can be send to a manager or can be directly processed in SAP HR.
Problem 1:
When I test the adobe form and fill in a number in a field and click on next everything goes fine. But when I click on previous step the value which I filled in before is gone and put to 0,00.
Problem 2:
Also another problem is that calculated fields, do not show directly when clicking on next step. When you click on next step and then previous step, then you see the value of the calculated field.
Problem 3:
Also another problem is with the calendar function. When I fill in a date by hand and click on next the BADI behind the form sees 00-00-0000. When I use the calendar function everything goes well.
Who can help me with these 3 problems.

Interesting - I have a similar issue. We want to use the Request for Transfer scenario in ERP 2005, but it has not been developed in Adobe forms by SAP yet (it isn't available in 2004 either)! So, we have decided to use the old JSP PCRs instead.
Your issue is probably because you're using the same 2005 iviews to create your PCRs. The 2005 PCR iviews are written in WebDynpro, and appear to assume that each one will be an Adobe form! If you assign the old PCR iviews to your manager (give them the old MSS role under Migrated Content->EP5.0... in the pcd if you have it installed), you will be able to create a PCR with the JSP forms (regardless of the "Entry in Web" setting in QISRSCENARIO).
The next issue is the approval. In 2005, transaction SWFVISU has task TS50000075 configured as Java Webdynpro. You'll need to change that to iView, and specify ID = com.sap.pct.hcm.isrdispatcher.default. I'm following the UWL item type guide for this at:

Having said this, my approval is not working! The item type has clearly changed, because the workitem name is no longer a hyperlink (rather annoying), but when I hit the "Launch Task Page" button (default name I think) I get the error:
"Unable to perform action because the system returned an invalid URL"
I can't see this "invalid url" anywhere in the logs, so I can't see where it is getting it from, or what path, etc I'm meant to put! In your old system, what did you have as the "Server for ISR call" under "Additional Data for Scenario" in QISRSCENARIO? Also, what did you have in the "URL" box that appears under the Additional Data for Scenario button when you change the Entry Type to JSP?

I tried the configuration checks in the manuals..
The Webservice check returned the correct version of the Adobe version running..
But the program test FP_PDF_test_00 retuen an SOAP error..
I have maintained detinations in the java visual admin
with url : http://abapserverhostname:8000
and user as ADS_AGENT password as in abap system.
Pls tell me how should I solve my problem.

Hi Raja,
the basis have solved the problem and the configuration checks for ADS are succesful now.
Now i try to create change the code of conduct application iview change the name space to
sap.com/pcgui~isr(dont mind the spelling i have given the right component)
application name= IsrForm
application parmetrs = (given according to older thread messages)
but nothing is coming up. I get the Ie message saying
Security settings does not allow page to be displayed correctly and only a "cross" icon is appearing at the top of the page..
Pls tell me what should i do now..
