PCS : No contact access for a N72 with PC Suite. O...

Hello,
I uses, since a short time (2 month), a N72.
I am astonished to discover that the "contact" function reaches an eternally empty window.
Is it a way to get the contacts outside the phone.
Link with outlook is unable to hold the extended vcard format used by N72,
and
I could not find a way to access the vcard files which are on the memory card.
Do it exist a software which is able to held copy from, update, add vcard to the "contact system of N72" from a computer ?

Well I wrung it out, for now, don't know exacTly how but PC-companion is running on the the Eee PC now and connected to the internet by the Hazel.
Here SE the PC-suite is the only one working with Windows and Hazel, but at first start the PC-Suite wants to upgrade to PC-companion
This time I had the Netbook connected to the internet (home network not the Hazel) and then it managed to download the PC-companion and hence managed to install it.
Still why does SE say that PC-companion isn't for the Hazel and then still force customer to upgrade to the PC-companion
Aren't there any one in charge for customer care

For SOA Suite 10.1.3.5.1 on weblogic, Is there any way to restrict certain users to some pages in bpel console.. e.g. read only access to bpel console.
I have found articles on web regarding this but they all are for SOA Suite 10.1.3.3 (and 3.4) on Oracle app server. Article provides a hack by using servlet filters.
How to do a similar thing in SOA Suite 10.1.3.5.1 on weblogic ?

I have already seen this link and several refined versions of it but it wont work for weblogic. For example
There is no j2ee/oc4j_soa/applications/orabpel/console directory (i looked into home directory as well but could not found orabpel/console dir).
So question is where to put filter class and how to make changes in web.xml as this file is not present in j2ee/oc4j_soa/applications/orabpel/console/WEB-INF/
I checked deployments in weblogic admin console and seems BPELConsole is deployed as a module under BPELPM ear.
Any idea?

Major risk to block your Macintosh HD for access for everyone

in Finder/Macintosh HD/Get info/Sharing & Permissions;
if you think, like I did, that you can block others to view the content of your HD by blocking "everyone" and change the setting to "no access" you are blocking also your system and the admin! You can not even unlock or undo this. It took the support desk several hours to get this sorted out. It is amazing that this is possible, I can not think of any useful applicability of this setting. So for idiots like me this should be made "idiot proof" by not allowing this setting or at least by a strong warning what the consequences are of this setting.

V.K., with all due respect, those of us who have had virus issues and switched to Mac don't see changing permission to the drive to "no access" for an icon with three heads ("everyone") as an "idiot" move.
What is idiotic is that Apple released an OS that does not have so much as a warning pop up when this choice is selected. It is not obvious what destruction this will cause. FYI - most mac users are admin users - there is no other way to install updates. There is no good reason for the average admin user to have this capability. You should be required to login as Root to do this. Full Stop. This is just shoddy programing.

SRP526W to forward or provide VPN access for clients

we are having a SRP526W here which replaced a cheap, simple router. Now we would like to set up the VPN-access for outside clients again. So far this was done by forwarding PPTP (TCP 1723 and GRE) to the Windows 2000 Routing and RAS-server inside the network.
According to this post the SRP521W, and therefore I suppose as well the SRP526W, are not able to forward GRE: https://supportforums.cisco.com/thread/2093204
Is there a way to provide VPN access for outside clients with this router? Maybe with L2TP (but then we would need to forward ESP) or IPSec (ESP and AH as far as I know)?
If there is no solution we would need to replace this device again with a cheap, simple router which is able to forward GRE - as you can imagine, we would like to save Cisco from this shame.

Hi Dominik,
It is not possible to use L2TP or PPTP from the SRP526 (This is only possible from the Ethernet WAN interface). It is possible to set up an IPSec VPN or GRE tunnel from the SRP to a peer in the network.
This might offer some guidance here.

To find out if it's system wide or user specific, try this...
Open System Preferences>Users & Groups, unlock the lock, click on the little plus icon, make a new admin account, log out & into the new account.
Does it work in the new account?

Unable to access BCM 2010 DB with Outlook 2010 after running compatibility pack for Outlook 2013

After reading about the Description of Business Contact Manager compatibility pack for Outlook at this link http://support.microsoft.com/kb/2793723 it clearly states "Business Contact Manager for Microsoft Outlook is a compatibility pack that enables

So, I was hoping for some stability and performance improvements but desired to continue running from Outlook 2010. After running this downloaded compatibility pack it had little messages other than completed. If I try to run it again it says the database
is already updated. however, now I cannot open the BCM DB in Outlook 2010. when I try to connect to it from Outlook 2010 BCM it only opens a small window with no message, only a yellow exclamation sign. It also won't allow me to restore the
back up.
Can I undo what the compatibility pack program did to my BCM 2010 DB?
Now it won't allow me to restore a DB from two days ago. It gives this error "Access is denied due to a password failure. RESTORE FILELIST is terminating prematurely". I know the password is correct.
Please help, anyone? Now I'm starting to freak out a bit. I am going to reinstall BCM and pray.
I was able to restore the two day old DB by not entering a password. Odd since I know I backed up using a password.

This is due to a change in Yahoo's security settings. You need to go into your Yahoo account settings and create a special App Password, then use that password in Contacts to access your account. Same goes for Calendar.

If you are not already doing so, install from an Administrator account.
If you haven't already done so, download the iTunes Installer from:
http://www.apple.com/itunes/download/
Then right click on the installer and select "Run as Administrator." (Even though you are using an admin account).
If that doesn't work, try creating a new administrator account and installing from there.

Setting up Remote Desktop Apps for access from a Mac with 2FA.
I have a server 2012 remote access gateway, with remote apps published(which uses single signon), behind a 2FA connection (web based) and want to know if its possible to allow macs to connect to the remote Apps behind it. i cannot permanently remove any
of the above setup as it is a requirement.
When i connect from a mac i can login to both the 2FA and remote access web pages and see all the apps but when i click on any app it downloads it to the mac and when i try to run it using Remote Desktop App for MAC i get an error :
"httpendpointexception: 4, The non-proxy http connection failed to connect with the message: 500 internal Server Error."
I have tried with 2fa turned off for testing and get the same result.Does it support 2012 TSGW server? does it support Remote desktop apps? as i cant find a definitive answer on either.

Thank you for posting in Windows Server Forum.
From Error description it seems to be a communication issue between your Mac and your RD gateway server. If you connect from extranet, you may need Remote Desktop Gateway or a VPN/Direct Access connection to your intranet, or forward port 3389 on your router.
500 Internal Server Error seems to be a HTTP related error.
The HTTP status code in IIS 7.0, IIS 7.5, and IIS 8.0
Also, please double check the settings if you have a RD gateway implemented in you intranet.

Hi srabon,
For giving unique access for a specific file in a library, you can go to the library, and select the file , and click FILES->Shared With->ADVANCED, under PERMISSION ribbon, click ‘Stop Inheriting Permissions’, then the file will have unique permissions.
For removing the shared users for a file, firstly, like the above steps, select the file , and click FILES->Shared With->ADVANCED , make sure the file has unique access, then select the users that you want to remove, and click Remove User Persmissions
under PERMISSIONS ribbon.

An icloud account is designed to be used by just one user. If you have given your ID or set up your account on someone else's device, then their data will be mingled with your or worse.

Is it possible to use ICS with a Cisco VPN client to allow pass through access for Domain login for a second machine.

I have a current machine Windows 7 Pro with a Cisco VPN 3.5v client that currently connects with access to a customers network.
They shipped a second machine Windows 8.1 Pro without adding local accounts, that is pre-joined to a sub-domain the first system has access to.
Would it be possible to use the first machine as a ICS or Router to allow the second machine to see or access for log in, without returning to the customer site and plugging in for a log in point?
Trying to save a 3 to 4 hr trip and lugging a system back for myself and the rest of the team.

Thanks C F McBlob but I recursively changed the permissions of my Music directory meaning every file and directory beneath it, as well as the directory itself, had the write permissions added.
I used "chmod -R u+w ./Music" and chmod -R g+w ./Music" to do it.
Alas, no cigar. :-(
