PCUI error: Field group could not be read completely

Hello,
I am trying to remove some fields from the Sales Data tab in the Sales Orders application CRMD_BUS2000115. I have changed field groups before, noth in CRM 4.0 and CRM 5.0, but in this case, I always get this error.
By going into debugging mode (tracelevel set to 2222) I determined the main field group to be SLO_SALES, with lots of smaller reference groups below. Whenever I change one of the reference groups and try to generate the layout of SLO_SALES I get the error "Field group could not be read completely". I even reverted all changes by emptying all the entries from the reference groups so that my c-tables are empty, but I still get the error. All field groups below this one yield the error "No field group selected in blueprint table", so I cannot build those either.
Has anybody else tried to change the contents of that application in that tab?
Regards
Thomas

Hi Thomas,
Everytime you do changes in the reference group the entries in table 'CRMC_FIELDGRP' changes. So you will have to go to this table check entries for the main feild group 'SLO_SALES' in your case and then change entries for this feildgroup in CRMC_BLUEPRINT_C. The idea ia that the data should be consistent/same in both the places.
Hope this helps you.
Regards,
Hetal.

    I downloaded the Microsoft Autoruns package and ran it.  There are no programs in the LSA Providers tab, and Apple's Bonjour is the only program in the Winsock Providers tab.  I also did the "netsh winsock reset" and rebooted.  It didn't fix the problem.  Any more ideas?

  • Has anyone had the error "The file could not be read due to an error" when selecting ignore or replace image links. The linked images are in Dropbox if that helps.

    I am working on a Mac 10.9.5 with Adobe CS6. My files are locally in Dropbox but once we moved files to network and tried opening the AI - the file would not recognize the original folder location. I tried ignoring the missing images but then I receive the error - The file could not be read due to an error." The same error happens when I try replacing the first missing image. I know the problem lies in the images are linked back to my Dropbox but the AI file doesn't care since it won't let me replace or ignore the image links.

    Jasion,
    Maybe a bit beside the question, but it is always recommended here to open/save from/to own hard disk, and to copy from/to networks and removable media. You may be lucky, at least for a while, but it is better to be safe than sorry.
    In addition to the (far greater) risk of file corruption, some issues are mentioned here:

  • Error : "Backend data could not be read"....

    Hi
    We are having SRM 4.0 with backend R/3 4.7.
    When shopping cart is approved, getting error message "Backend data could not be read".
    In BBP_PD, status is showing "Error in Transmission"
    Observed that BE_OBJECT_TYPE and BE_OBJECT_ID fields are blank in table BBP_PDBEI.
    At the bottom of BBP_PD, in the alert section in Monitor field a message appeared as "Shopping Basket\Spooler Communication errors".
    Is this error something related to RFC authorization?
    Please tell me what is the reason.
    Thanks and Regards
    Jagadish

    Hi Jagdish,
    As you said, this may be related to RFC communication.
    During the SC approval, SRM will determine the follow on doc type (RS, RQ, PO) depending on your customizing, the SC item data, and what R/3 let you create (after META_INTERPRETE_DAT).
    Just after this step, the backend doc type & ID are stored in SC item backend references. But here your fields BE_OBJECT_TYPE and BE_OBJECT_ID fields are blank.
    It makes me suppose that a backend communication error made this process failure.
    If the RFC authorizations were not correct, then this would be the case for ALL your SC !!! I don't think this is the case.
    Do you have lots of errors like this one ?
    Maybe the backend was not available or overloaded at that time. Is this an error in production ? What are your volumetrics ?
    Can you check in SM37 if you have some jobs named PO_JOB created at this time or scheduled since this date ?
    Rgds

  • Error Message: "Disk could not be read from or written to".

    New 5th Gen. was downloading CD's I loaded into iTunes just fine; when uploading tunes into iPod yesterday this error message appeared: "Attempting to copy to the disk (iPod name) failed. Disk could not be read from or written to". Restored iPod with 1/10/06 update of iPod Install; using iTunes 6.0.2; operating system 10.3.9. Frustrated. iPod useless at this point. Anyone found a fix to this vexing problem?
    Thanks,
    John

    Thanks Jeff. Only thing that rings true is updating OS; when I tried to downoad 10.4 message said I 'could not on this computer'. Since I purchased and installed 10.3 a year ago I don't understand. Also, iPod was downloading perfectly until two days ago when -36 appeared. Bummer. I am not a techie, Apple tech support does not have a clue, and iPod is useless. Ideas?

  • Receive an Application Error (The memory could not be "read") when opening

    After I install Itunes the program works ok until I close it and try to reopen. When I do this I receive an Application Error that says:
    The instruction at "0x6686f183" referenced memory at "0x0fccc094". The memory could not be "read".
    Click OK to terminate the program
    Click CANCEL to debug the program
    Debugging does not work so the only solution is to uninstall Itunes and then reinstall. That again only works for one use of the program. As soon as I close it and re-open, I get the same error. Please HELP. I cannot waste any more time uninstalling and reinstalling.

    Try this: Turn off automatic Microsoft/Windows updates and reboot your computer. I saw this a couple of weeks ago on the forum.

  • Download error "source file could not be read" when closing tab.

    So it seems like when I start a download by clicking a link on a website and I close that tab before the download finishes I get a download error and the file stops downloading.
    I first noticed this on some site and thought it was a problem with the site, but then it happened again when I went to download the Flash update.
    [http://img818.imageshack.us/img818/3015/screenshot20110605at235.png Screenshot of the error message]
    When I run Firefox with add-ons disabled (thanks for the handy menu item) the problem does not occur.

    Whats the problem with this thing?
    One thing i can tell is that i changed some settings in Micromedia Flash, because i learned that they where spying on US, then boom no more download. It stops and tell me it could not be read from the server. Dont remember if it started right after i changed the settings, but its driving me nuts

  • Application Error: "The memory could not be 'read'."

    I am programming an application in C#.
    I am using an Acrobat Reader control on my form to display PDFs within my program.
    I have tried a couple of different configurations with the form control. I have drag-and-dropped the control prior to runtime. I have also tried to add the control dynamically.
    When I run the program, then activate the control and close the form, I get the following error.
    "sw:name.exe - Application Error; The instruction at "0x0700609c" referenced memory at "0x00000014". The memory could not be 'read'. Click on OK to terminate the program."
    I have googled this error for hours now, and cannot find anything that truly explains this error and how to fix it.
    Thank you for any help.

    To who may be interested, I managed to find a workaround for this bug in Adobe Reader 9.0.
    It seems that, somehow, LabVIEW, and other programming tools, straggle with this version of Adobe (I assume that this is due to this bug) when closing the reference to Adobe created by the ActiveX container.  So the solution would be closing "by hand" this reference, and telling Windows to free all the relation between the application (LabVIEW for us) and Adobe.  The idea is that when we've done with the VI which displays the PDF via ActiveX, we should close the reference to the ActiveX control, close the reference to the VI, and:
      - process all the Windows messages currently in the message queue (.NET:  System.Windows.Form.Application -> DoEvents
      - run CoFreeUnusedLibraries in "ole32.dll"
    I hope this information can help somebody, as I wasted too much time to figure this out (finding eventually the answer in a forum of Adobe!)
    P.S. For those who program in C# as well, check this link; this was my source.

  • Cannot Change Data Source - Error The memory could not be "read"

    We have some reports that were created under Crystal Reports version 10 using a Sybase 12.5 database as the datasource.  We have since upgraded to Sybase 15 ASE and we are also attempting to upgrade these reports to Crystal Reports version 11.5.  The reports will convert to version 11.5 but will not work because of the following error:
    "Failed to load database information. Details: The database connector 'crdb_p2ssyb10.dll' could not be loaded"
    From previous experience we know that Sybase 15 is only supported via ODBC with Crystal Report 11.5, so we tried to change the datasource to ODBC, but when we do that we get the following error:
    The instruction at "0x0e864b11" referenced memory at "0x00000004". The memory could not be "read".
    Do we have any options at this point besides competely re-creating the reports?

    We are using CR 11.5 and trying to change the data source to ODBC.  I can create a new report and use the same stored procedures as a datasource via ODBC with no issues.  I only have an issue when trying to change the data source on these existing reports.

    But my computer software is very minimal..and Windows XP is up to date. Cords appear fine and not loose...

    With each uninstall and reinstallation of Flash the error
    number changes as well as the memory address location.
    Has anyone experienced this error and have a solution?
    Reinstalling & rebooting did not solve it.

    I had a similar problem with Flash MX 2004, and it turned out
    to be related to a Quick Time problem. (I was also unable to play
    any Quick Time files, so you might want to check that on your end
    to help troubleshoot as your cause as well.)
    QT was so corrupt on my system, I couldn't even uninstall it
    using the normal methods. Our IT department had to manually remove
    everything on my system related to Quick Time. After that, I
    uninstalled/reinstalled Flash, and then reinstalled Quick Time, and
    everything has been fine since. (In fact, I've upgrade to v8 since
    then...)
    I originally thought my problem was a corrupt font, since it
    was during the "loading fonts" part of the start-up, but utlimately
    the Quick Time issue fixed it. I worked with Macromedia (at the
    time) tech support on it, but can't find the e-mail thread.
    UPDATE:
    I found the old thread, here is the pertinent message from
    Macromedia Support that led to the resolution:
    ""I'm sorry to hear that you're still having the same issue,
    I've been evaluating the said forum thread and I think I remember
    something about the QuickTime player issue. For some reason, older
    or broken components in QuickTime can also cause Flash to
    malfunction as Flash needs it for some operations.
    I recommend that you download the latest QuickTime, uninstall
    your current version, reboot and install the new QuickTime player,
    then uninstall and reinstall Flash using the same routine I
    provided previously".

  • Application error The memory could not be read 0x00000014

    Hi everyone,
    I would like to know if any of you have come across this issue.
    I'm running an application built by me in a computer with LabVIEW Run-time 9 in which I display a PDF file using an ActiveX control:
     The target computer runs Adboe Reader 9.0.  Everything works perfect until the application is closed.  From time to time (nearly most of the times), I've got the next windows error:
    "Application Error:  The instruction at "0x0ffd609c" referenced memory at "0x00000014".  The memory could not be "read".  Click on OK to terminate the program".
    Trying to find out the reason, I found a couple of forums which claim that the reason is a bug in Adobe 9.0 (actually, I've tried running the application with Adobe Reader 8 and I cannot repeat the error).  Any of you have had this error before and found a solution?  Those links weren't about LabVIEW and I have no idea how to get around this issue.
    Any help is appreciate it.
    Thanks in advance.

  • Java.exe application error - the memory could not be read

    Hi all,
    I have some problems. I have been getting this error:
    The instruction at "0x03491c33" referenced memory at "0x034c1f77". The memory could not be "read".
    This error occurs when the disconnect function() is called.
    My code is as follows:
    JNIEXPORT void JNICALL Java_JFrame_disconnect (JNIEnv * env, jobject obj) {
    ::CoInitialize(NULL);
    HINSTANCE getprocDLL = LoadLibrary(TEXT("test.dll"));
    if (getprocDLL != NULL){
    typedef void (_cdecl*pICFUNC)(void);
    pICFUNC disconnect;
    FARPROC getProcessID = (FARPROC)GetProcAddress(HMODULE(getprocDLL),"Disconnect");
    disconnect = pICFUNC (getProcessID);
    disconnect() <---- error occurs when this function is called
    FreeLibrary(getprocDLL);
    ::CoUninitialize();
    Any idea what could be the possible problem with the code?
    Any help / suggestions would be greatly appreciated! Thanks in advance!

    1. Check what value getProcessID has.
    2. Verify that the signature of the method that you are casting it to is correct.
    3. Can you call disconnect without actually connecting to something?
    4. Move the code out of JNI entirely. Create a C/C++ executable and verify that the code works there first.
