PD 9982 not the latest versions of apps

Hello,
why does the 9982 not get the latest release of Soundhound and evernote? My Z10, Q10 oder Z30 get it. Could you please fix that and take care that all Z10 releases are also released for the 9982?

Today, the App Store is again offering me updates to these iWork apps (for the 4th time, now) e.g. Pages 5.1. etc
Although it said it had updated to 5.1 last time, the /Library/Receipts/InstallHistory.plist indicates that Apple downloaded 5.0.1 again! So of course when I opened it after updating, it was still 5.0.1.
These forums seem to be quite angry still about these latest versions of iWork vs the previous '09 versions, see also this in the Pages forum https://discussions.apple.com/message/24701724#24701724. Not sure that there is much interest in getting 5.1 issues solved?

Afaria Application Policy for Agentry - not the latest version

Hi,
we are installing the Agentry Application as a standard application on the iPhones. We have created an application policy, which is linked to a group. The application is installed correct, but the version of the application is not the latest. The latest version is the 6.0.44.1. This is what Afaria shows in the details of the application policy. But the policy always installs the 6.0.42 version.
Did you hade a similar issue as well?

You may need to do it the same way that you can get Mountain Lion. Call the Apple online store and tell them that you wish to buy Mt Lion Server. The online store should be able to sell you Mt Lion Server and in a day or two another part of Apple will e-mail you the password for a locked PDF. And then a second e-mail with the locked PDF, that you use the password to open and retrieve your redemption code for Mt. Lion Server. You can use the redemption code with the Mac App Store.

My iphoto says that my version is not the latest version so I can't use it.

I had to partition my hard drive and to do that I had to reinstall the hard drive because the boot camp was not working properly. I backed up all of my stuff however, I do not think I used the time machine because I have had to go back through and redo all of my computer.
My iphoto though would not open and was telling me that there was an error. I sent a message to apple numerous times and tried to relaunch but nothing happened. I do not have the iLife disk but I have the disks that came with my computer and I reinstalled the applications.
Now my computer will open iPhoto but tells me that it "You can’t open your current photo library using this version of iPhoto. You have made changes to your photo library using a newer version of iPhoto. Please quit and use the latest version of iPhoto."
Can anyone help me? I need to have my photos on my computer for my architecture and art classes. I got this laptop not even a year ago.

Welcome to the Apple Discussions. Did you bring back your original User/Library folder with the Preferences folder inside? If so then delete the iPhoto preference file, com.apple.iPhoto.plist, that resides in your User/Library/Preferences folder and try launching again.
If that doesn't help see if you can launch iPhoto with the Command+Option keys depressed to rebuild the library. If so select the last three options.

Firefox is up to date, but multiple sites report it is not the latest version. What can I do about this?

There are multiple sites that I log into (Netflix, Amazon, Firefox Hello, etc.) that are reporting that I am running an old version of Firefox. I am running versions 36.0, which reports to be up to date. I'm at a loss.

Publishing settings in Captivate 8, not the latest version of Flash player

Hello all,
It looks like the files I publish in Captivate 8 require me to get the latest version of Adobe Flash player.
It seems like I can't set the flash player version in the publishing settings.

Hi Luke,
For responsive project Swf publish is not possible so the Flash player option is not displayed, where as for Non-Responsive projects on the publish Dialog when you will click on SWF publish button you will get a flash player field. Use the field to select the target flash player for Swf playback.

I download latest version of FF-screen still says not the latest version?

I have just downloaded the latest version of Firefox but the home page still tells me I am not using the latest version. How can this be?

If your home page is google.com/firefox that page is no longer maintained and is incorrect. You are on the latest version. Change your home page to about:home or another page of your choice

Premier Pro - Not the latest version?

I thought by buying the subscription to Premier Pro it would keep me up to date with the latest version. Is that not correct? I'm on version 7.2.2 (33) but I understand there is a version 8.x available?

With Premier Pro open, I click on Help and Updates is greyed out. So I have to log onto the CC and search for the update, correct?

Itunes not the latest version on new itouch

My son just got an "Apple174 iPod touch174 Player 5th Generation Latest Model". When he tries to move itunes music from his computer, he gets a message saying the itouch itunes isn't the latest version. How do I update itunes on the itouch?

You update iTunes on your computer. Yo need iTunes 11.1 or later.

Flash Web Install thinks it's not the latest version

Well I have been having lots of problems with flash. It used
to work on most sites apart from YouTube which told me I needed to
update so I tryed and it said it was successful but it still didn't
work. I thought it might be a problem with the registery
permissions so I downloaded Subinacl and the reset_minimal.cmd and
ran it. It completed quite quickly and I scrolled up to see what it
had done and all the keys it was trying to reset permissions for it
said it had not found which I thought was a little odd.
Now whenever I try and install from the website a box comes
up saying "Installation failed or was cancelled" and no flash
websites work now. It did create and install.txt file in the flash
directory which showed something odd:

1. download the flash uninstaller from

2. open regedit.exe (watch out.. you are now treading in
sensitive territory)
3. In HKLM/Software delete the Macromedia Key
4. In HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Macromedia remove the Flash
Key of you already have shockwave installed.
Now install the flash player... it should work

Upgrading from snow leopard to mountain lion will i have trouble using my Pages and Iphoto since it's not the latest version

I am contemplating upgrading my OS from Snow Leopard to Mountain Lion. Currently, I don't have ICloud available on my computer. I also keep getting messages to upgrade my IPhoto to '11 version as well as Pages. I know, I'm behind, but my theory is if it isn't broke don't mess with it.
My concern is I don't want to lose my pictures and YES, I have backed up with Time Machine to an external hard drive. (I just hope that's good enough). IF I upgrade to start using ML OS, will I need to restore anything from my external hard drive or will I be able to start using computer as if nothing changed?
I know enough to be dangerous and I'm hesitant to upgrade for fear of losing everything. Would appreciate help. Thanks!

Correct, in fact, Lion is no longer directly available from the App Store.

I have just installed LION OS but mail is not working. It says it is not the latest version? How do I install it and any other programs that did not make the upgrage?

I believe there was an option to upgrade Mail and a couple of other things but I opted to not do it. How do I make sure I have all of the latest Lion software? Mail will not open because it is evidently Snow Leopard.

When updating manually, FF just updates to the next version, not the latest version. This is ridiculously time consuming.

I prefer to update ff manually. However, if I miss a few updates and then select update, it updates one update at a time, instead of just updating to the newest version in one clean sweep - like it should! This is crazy time-consuming and irritating. This IS NOT status quo! Firefox is a little behind the times here. I am not looking for suggestions on how i should just remove and
reinstall Firefox. That's time consuming too. I JUST WANT FIREFOX TO KNOW THAT THEY NEED TO MODERNIZE MANUAL UPDATE TO JUMP TO THE NEWEST VERSION IN ONE STEP!

It's possible that Firefox had downloaded that intermediate update automatically but not applied it for one reason or another, so rather than go to the web and check for a newer update, Firefox just used the one it already had. It's unusual to have so many point updates so frequently, so I'm not sure when it would be possible to try to observe this possibility.

IMovie is already on the latest version. App store keeps asking me to update to the latest version (10.0).

I really do not know how I got into this state. Basically, my iMovie is on version 10. But when I go to App Store update, it says I have to update to version 10 (Same version). I hit the update button. The update button went inactive for a few seconds and came back (does not say "Updating"). But when I go to launchpad, it's starting to download iMovie. How can I remove this update from the App Store?

The same is happening to me right now, but with GarageBand.
It seems to be an issue with the App Store app on the Mac, which Apple has to solve somehow.
I just leave this "update" as is until the App Store app with notify me with a real update in the "Updates" section.

I downloaded to the latest Firefox yesterday 5-5-2011 & everything was screwed up. Uninstalled Firefox now how do I get it back, not the latest version? Been to your site & it will not download. Thanks Pat

Can't think of anything else to add, just want to download Firefox. The older nor newer versions will not load, I click where it says if downloading does not start, just stays at 0%.

Did you check your security software (firewall)?
A possible cause is security software (firewall) that blocks or restricts Firefox without informing you about that, possibly after detecting changes (update) to the Firefox program.
Remove all rules for Firefox from the permissions list in the firewall and let your firewall ask again for permission to get full unrestricted access to internet for Firefox.
