all pdf documents in email attachments and on my PC are opening in photoshop, how do I enable pdf viewing?

Simply reinstall Adobne Reader/ Acrobat and check your e-mail clients default file handling/ MIME types.

Scroll bars are supposed to appear when needed.
For example, scroll bars will appear when you zoom in on a page.

Could you please specify how exactly have you created your form.
You might need to have Acrobat installed on your computer to convert a word document to PDF.
Do you have Acrobat installed? If yes, what version? If no, then please try using the trial version of Acrobat DC (latest version) and access its features:

Also, let me know what kind of blue boxes are you talking about.
If you want others to edit your PDF form, then you need to make it a fillable form by choosing 'Form Editing' option from Tools pane.

Importing PDF and Photoshop files since using Windows 7 64bit

Hi,
I recently upgraded (?) to Windows 7 64bit. I have notices when importing PDF and photoshop files into the InDesign document, the resolution of the graphics are off and the lines are choppy. Even the fonts are illegible. What happened? Are there some settings that I need to into and tweek to bring everything back into alignment and focus? (If those are the correct words.) When I view the PDF files in windows, they are normal. It is only when imported into InDesign that they are distorted.

I run Maximized, so the window fills the available space (you can set the shortcut properties to open that way so you don't have to do it each time), or you could resize the window from the top, then grabe the title bar and drag it upward on the screen. Windows should remember the size and position, but it may not, being Windows, after all.

Hi Ali,
If the PDF file you're starting with is larger than 100MB, ExportPDF won't be able to convert it.
To convert a file of that size and to create separate files, you'll need Adobe Acrobat. You'd need Acrobat to divide the file into smaller chunks for ExportPDF anyhow, so Acrobat is probably the best solution for you. You can learn more about Acrobat here: http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobat.html

Do you at least have the serial-numbers for them? Did you buy discs or download them? What versions, specifically?
If you purchased them as downloads from Adobe, they may be available under My Purchases (or whatever it is called, exactly) if you log into www.adobe.com and check the My Account area, then look at the products you’ve purchased.

New SG500 and SG300 How do I enable the fiber ports?

Sorry if this is a repeat couldn’t find my first post - I have a new small lan it consists of 4 SG 300's and 1 SG 500. I had thought I would be able to use the combo ports to connect the switches through the fiber trunk, but the ports are disabled and I cannot get them enabled. Could someone explain how to accomplish this or at least point me to documentation/instructions to do so? I am a total newbie so the simpler the better.

Thank you for the reply, I will try that -however what I was trying to ask and failing is; If I can enable the ports will the switches be able to comunicate as long as they are in the same ip range or is there more to it than that? I have all new equipment but my fear is that the media converters i have are not recognized by the switch because there is no reference in the gui to anything being installed in those ports. -and that even if i get that working there will be some magic cofiguation i need to do to get everyone talking.
I have looked for instructions to explain the prosses but to be honest i dont get it. in the simplest form i need to get the fiber conection working between all five switches. I'm not trying to get someone to do it for me just a rosetta stone and identification of the correct instuctions.

Have your Illustrator and Photoshop images stopped saving as PDF? Help!

I have CS5. For the past 2 weeks, when I save an Illustrator or Photoshop design as a PDF, it does not create a pdf of the image. It creates a PDF with this message:
"This is an Adobe® Illustrator® File that was saved without PDF Content. To Place or open this in other applications, it should be re-saved from Adobe Illustrator with the "Create PDF Compatible File" option turned on. This option is in the Illustrator Native Format Options dialog box, which appears when saving an Adobe Illustrator le using the Save As command."
I CANNOT FIGURE OUT HOW TO DO THIS! HELP! The message does not describe any of my CS5 message boxes.

Firefox opens a pdf in the browser but I can't save it as a pdf file. How do I save pdf files as pdfs?

When I open pdf files in the browser I do not have a way to save the file as a pdf file on my hard drive. I can only save it as a firefox image file one page at a time. I can't print it either except as individual pages from the image file. When I use the "Save As" icon my only options are to save as a Firefox file. What am I missing? Thanks.

Try this, when I right clicked on the document to rotate the image a noticed a tool bar appeared at the bottom of the page with the save icon. It then disappeared, but by hovering at near the bottom of the document the tool bar appears and I can save the PDF.

How to add 'application/pdf' to navigator.mimeTypes?

My office uses an online expense report app. In order to attach a receipt to an expense report, the site requires that you have Acrobat Reader installed. I like Preview just fine, thank you, and I want to find a way to fake out the app.
It turns out that the actual check that the app does is to run a little bit of Javascript to query the existence of navigator.mimeTypes['application/pdf'] and see if it's enabled. The trouble is that there's no such entry in Safari, presumably because PDFs aren't handled by a separate plugin. Is there any way I can force this to be set?
I've already tried installing the DefaultApps pref pane. That does show an 'application/pdf' mimetype which is correctly associated with Preview. The setting isn't being picked up by Safari, unfortunately.

I downloaded Indesign CS3 trial and liked everything about it until I attempted to print to postscript and got that message. Nothing I have tried has helped. I have seen in various forums that others are having the same problem, but haven't found any solution offered. I am running Tiger 10.4.10 on a new Intel Imac with 3G ram. This is a procedure I use very often in my workflow, and have never had this problem with CS2 on my PC or other Macs. Is there a solution? I downloaded the .1 update and installed that and it didn't change anything.

I'm trying to save a .pdf of a booklet of a facing pages document of A4 size each facing page for a whole size A3, then hope to let the pages be correctly arranged by inDesing, then print and staple.
Meaning pages will be like this - Page #60 left side [of the A3] - page #1 right side [of the A3] , page # 2 right side[of the A3] - page #59 left side[of the A3] etc...
I CANT DO IT. I tried to follow Melvin Thompson , but when I choose save .ps and open it in preview all I see is independent a4 pages and just the left ones , .. How can I save my file as .pdf ready to be printed in a3 ?
