  • Can't shown chinese text when copy & paste data from server to Outlook, Word & notepad, etc.( Office 2013)

Can't shown chinese text when copy & paste data from server to Outlook, Word & notepad, etc.( Office 2013)

    Hi
As per the information and details provided by you, when you copy & paste a data from server to Outlook, word, notepad, then you do not receive the Chinese text.
For Outlook, please follow these steps: -
Close and reopen Outlook in your western locale (or switch the windows system to your Western locale if you changed that),
Manually change the message from Western to Chinese encoding, which you can do in all versions up to Outlook 2007.
If you want to stay in your Chinese locale in Outlook 2007, then:
After you hit reply, go to the Option tab > More Options.
In the Encoding drop-down menu, select the Chinese encoding you are working in (Not the encoding used by the person who will receive the message)
    Note:
To set the Chinese locale in all versions up to 2007 the controls are under.
Tools > Options. In Outlook 2010 File tab > Options > Advanced > International options.
    Unicode (UTF-8)
is a good setting for multilingual users.
    Check the
Auto select 2007)/ Automatically select (2010) encoding box.
I hope this information will be helpful for you.
    Thanks and regards

  • DSO content can't display Chinese character

    Hello experts,
I extract data from non-sap system (non-unicode) to BW DSO (7.0 unicode).
The DTP, data extraction and the activation all work fine.
However, the content of the DSO can't display the Chinese character.
Is there any setting I miss?
How can it display Chinese character as the data in source system?
    Any information is very appreciated.
    Thanks in advance.

    Hi,
Make sure Chinese Language Patch applied on BW system. You can see Chinese does not mean Chinese Language Patch applied.
However, even if Language Patch is not applied, you still can see Chinese in reports via Portal.
    Good luck

  • Can't display Chinese Characters in JTree

The default encoding has beed set to GB2312 by system. (I use eWin98&Richwin system)
I can display Chinese in JEditorPane, can output Chinese using System.out.println, can read Chinese from files. BUT, I can not display Chinese in JTree, they all appear as squares.

You probably did that, but just in case you didn't i'd use
    .setFont(...);

  • Can you display some text after you have checked a yes or no box?

Can you display some text after you have checked a yes or no box?
    Ex:
Yes (Please contact Bob x3-1234) only want it to appear when you check box)
    No

Sure. If you use a field (button, text field) to display the text, the Mouse Up script of the Yes check box could be:
    getField("button1").display = event.target.value === "Yes" ? display.visible : display.hidden;
Change "button1" to the actual name of the field and "Yes" is the export value of the Yes check box. You can use whatever you want, and you'll probably want to make the button read-only as well.

  • Display Chinese Text in Form 6i

    Hi,
I am trying to put Chinese text on forms under Form 6i and allow users to enter double-byte Chinese characters.
But Form 6i cannot display the Chinese text that I entered. A double-byte Chinese text is always displayed as '?' in the Form.
I have changed all NLS_LANG registry entry to be AMERICAN_AMERICA.US7ASCII in all three my Windows 98/NT/2000 English PCs. The problem still can't be solved.... 8-(
I uses Chinese Star to allow me to enter Chinese characters.
Can someone enlight me on this issue?
    Thanks!

    Hi :
    1) change your NLS_LANG registry entry to be SIMPLIFIED CHINESE_CHINA.ZHS16GBK
    2) open the Chinese Star
    3) run your application
I think this will solve this problem.

  • How can I display Chinese Character correctly in JSP

<p>Dear Expert,</p><p>Now I develop web application which using CR report, the development tool is IBM RAD(rational) and the database is DB2 UTF-8. Because need user to input something in JSP, so the programmer use "GB2312" to convert to insert into the database. But when I create the crystal report and view in the web, the Chinese character can&#39;t disply correctly, like "???????", even I formated the font in report, doesn&#39;t work too.</p><p>And I set the report JSP charset to "GB2312" or "UTF-8", both of them failed. <p>Hi Steven,</p><p>         It sounds like you are on the right track to get the Chinese data to appear up correctly in the report. • Displaying (Chinese) Text Top to Bottom, Left to Right

I would like to display text vertically in a JTextArea starting from the top-left, going down in columns and continuing from left-to-right in Chinese like this:
    G D A
    H E B
    I F C
I looked at the API description of the ComponentOrientation class, which at first seemed to indicate that this could be done but there isn't static constant "ComponentOrientation TOP_TO_BOTTOM" that can be used.
    http://java.sun.com/j2se/1.5.0/docs/api/java/awt/ComponentOrientation.html
I tried setting the locale of the JTextArea to TRADITIONAL_CHINESE, CHINESE, CHINA, JAPANESE, but with no luck. The best I could get is text going from left to right in rows rather than columns.
Is it possible to (easily) do this or do I need to do something fancy.
    Thanks in advance,
    Puzzled.

The core i18n libraries and Swing do not support vertical writing at this time. However, this is not an unreasonable request for some scripts.

    John O'Conner
